  • Can't download Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise Edition for Solaris 32 bit??

I can't download Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise Edition for Solaris 32 bit. After filling out the form with the questions...I click on the actual link, but the box never pops up. The status bar on my Internet Explorer slowly increases, but never allows me to download. It just hangs. I have tried multiple times, and I can download other verions from your site...and have many times in the past. Could you please fix this. Thanks.

I've looked at it and it seems fine. It might have been a temporary glitch - let us know if you continue to have trouble.

  • Why is there no Boot Camp support for the 64-bit version of Windows 7 on the 64-bit iMac that I'm using?

    The early 2008 24" iMac 8,1 has a 2.8 ghz E8235 Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a data width of 64-bits.
I am straining badly to understand why Apple is only providing drivers for the 32-bit version of Windows 7 for the 64-bit hardware that I want to install it on.

The 64 bit drivers are there, but there have been some installation
issues depending on Windows OS and Apple hardware.  You may
want to post on the Bootcamp forum to get more direct response to
    your issue.
FWIW, at one point, I forget when, I found I needed to manually
open the 64 bit versions of the drivers to install them that were created
on the bootcamp driver install disk (image).  As I recall the was a
64 bit .msi "global" installer but even at that there was an individual
one that needed to be manually installed.
Its been a while since I last did this since I have been doing everything
in Windows virtual machines with Parallels.

  • Oracle 9.2.0.6 support for RHEL 4 AS update 4

    Hi All,
Where can i get information on the support matrix for oracle 9.2.0.6 for Red hat Enterprise Linux 4 Advanced server update 4. The document at http://www.oracle.com/technology/support/metalink/index.html does not give information on the 'update' versions (update 3, update 4 etc). Please advise.
    Regards,
    Kishore

You must have the minimum update specified by oracle for any OS and as long as you stay on same release, it is supported. Oracle doesn't provide support info at different update levels instead it specify the minimum update which is required for you to have the support.
Check the minimum update requirement for RHEL 4 and if you are on that or above that, you are fine.

  • Oracle 10.2.0.3 support for Win 2008

I'm trying to install oralce 10.2.0.1 and patch it to 10.2.0.3 on windows 2008 server.
But when I try to launch the installer I get this error:
Abnormal program termination. An internal error has occured. Please provide the following files to Oralce support:
    "Unknown"
    "Unknown"
    "Unknown"
I checked the metalink site and it looks that 2008 AMD64b is supported but not sure if this is for 10r2 or 11.
Is ora10gr2 supported on windows 2008?
What could be the installation problem? How could I address it?
    Thanks a lot, Tom

    Think It's not certified, but
for your installation issue look for Vista Certification and download Patch
    p5860454_10201_WINNT.zip
This at least helps you with the installation

  • Need to download oracle 11.1.0.6.0 for linux 64 bits

    Hi,
I have checked  oracle site for download this version of DB. But could not find the link. Can any one help with this??
    Regards,

Actually, my "why" wasn't directed towards "why 11.1.0.6," it was directed towards "you have been given the solution (file a request with Support) - why don't you want to do it the correct way"
There are plenty of reasons why someone might need 11gR1 (old hardware, old app, etc) - but yes, if it was an option, download the newer release by all means.
But when someone tells you "here is exactly how you can get 11gR1," don't ask "is there some other way" unless you tell us why you are unwilling to follow the approach.
By the way, an SR with support is the only way. If you don't have access to support, then you cannot legally get a copy of it.

  • Support for Xeon 64 bit processor

Does the Weblogic support Xeon 64 bit processor?

You have not mentioned your operating system so navigate to
    http://metalink.oracle.com
Search using "Patches & Updates" tab for the OS that you are running and you will find it.
By the way, why restrict yourself to an earlier release when later ones are available?

  • Support for jinitiator 1.1.8.16

Is Oracle planning to cut off support for jinitiator versions 1.1.8.16 upon launching oracle 12G ? Our oracle application is based on thie version of jinitiator and I need to know this information so that I can consider upgrading to jinitiator 1.3. Also what is most recent version of jinitiator?

I am not aware of which jinitiator version will be certified with Apps 12. You may consider the upgrade since 1.3.1.26 (the most recent version of jinitiator) is already certified with 11i

Could someone confirm that OCCI is currently not supported for Windows 64-bit? Also, is there any plans to support it in the future?

  • JRE for Windows 64 bit on Intel

    Hello,
in Supported System Configurations Windows AMD64/EM64T 64-bit mode is shown as not supported.
In the release notes (1.5.0_04) the following is written:
With the release, J2SE support for Windows 64-bit has progressed from release candidate to final release. This version runs on AMD64/EM64T 64-bit mode machines with Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions.
    What is right?
Is jre-1_5_0_05-windows-amd64.exe the right file for Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions on Intel processor?
What about Windows XP Professional x64 Edition?
    regards,
    Sven

You're not going to get them from Apple. I have Vista Ultimate 64 installed in Boot Camp and had to find video and network drivers on my own. The built-in iSight doesn't work and neither does the other MacBook specific features. I use Windows sparingly so it's good enough for my usage.

There doesn't seem to be 64bit version of OSB at all for Windows. [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13196_01/platform/suppconfigs/configs_al10gr3/osb10gr3/overview.html]

  • CAD 8.5 - desktop monitoring/recording not "supported" in WIN7 64-bit, Really ?

Does "not supported' mean it doesn't work at all or TAC wont support it.  Anyone have any experience good or bad ?
I'm pretty disappointed that Cisco finally steps into the modern age with their first support for a 64-bit operating system in the year 2011 but yet its not fully functional.
What do we do for users across WAN links etc.. for desktop monitoring ?  A 3rd party app, etc..
Will UCCX 9.x support the Built in Bridge (BIB) ?
From the CAD user guide, page 8 in the PDF
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_5/user/guide/cad85ccxug-cm.pdf
NOTE: Desktop-based monitoring and recording is not supported on Windows 7 64-bit running WoW64. However, Unified CM-based monitoring and SPAN-based monitoring and recording are supported on Windows 7 64-bit running WoW64.

Just curious but did you upgrade from UCCX8 to 8.5? If so, were you experiencing similar issues on that version or were these introduced in 8.5? We are currently with a UCCX/CAD 8 install and they are having quite a few problems with CAD, specifically with CSD. They did not previously have these issues on UCCX 4 prior to building out this new UCCX 8 system. Needless to say they are puzzled as to why they have experiencing a 'downgrade' after upgrading to a much newer version. They have had little luck with TAC so far but there is some progress. Regardless, I'm just curious if alot of these issues are related to the new rev of code (beginning with 8) being linux based v/s window. Essentially requiring a re-write of the code I would assume.

  • QUADRO FX4000 for MAC: 10 bit displayport?

Did anybody know if finally apple add support for driven 10 bit output from the quadro output. all the windows versions have it. also will be good to know if they gonna support the sdi module to work in conjunction with the quadro fx graphics card

Reading some posts on Adobe forum, It seems that MAC OSX 10.6.6 isn't capable of supporting 10 bit output unlike Win 7.
Well please PNY and nVidia don't puplicize Quadro 4000 for Mac as a card capable of 30-bit output because if the OS does not allow this, the card is useless for anyone like me who has bought the card only for this reason.
