Oracle 10g. emd-web-site.xml not found
I have this error when i try to test the status of iasconsole.
Unable to determine console port. $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/j2ee/config/emd-web-site.xml not found. No such file or directory.
i try to reconfigure via emca the central agent management, but when i must give the DBSNMP password i enter in a loop cause i don't know it.
i haven't installed the instance, I have found the installation already made in this machine.
thanks in advance
Well changing the DBSNMP password should not be that hard:
sqlplus / as sysdba
SQL> alter user dbsnmp identified by MyNewPassword;

Where do I find a tutorial about how to use the new iTunes? I have version 11.1.3 (8). I looked on the Apple web site but only found info extolling the virtues of iTunes, not how to use it.
Use it the same way as previously.

WebUtil - oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunctions bean not found.
All,
We're using webutil 1.0.6 on forms 9.0.4. Stuck up with the following error at runtime 'oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunctions bean not found.'.
In metalink, we noticed that webutil 1.0.6 should't be used with 9.0.4 unless some modification made on PLL. Unfortunately in OTN we can't find webutil 1.0.5 source version.
Anyone please tell us from where we can get WebUtil 1.0.5 source or how can we solve this problem.
Thank you very much.

Error: unable to copy to output directory, ReqMgmtActionsVO.xml not found
hi,
While running a page using jdeveloper am getting error like
Error: unable to copy to output directory, ReqMgmtActionsVO.xml not found.
am very thankful to the response
Thanks
SuryaHi,
I faced the same issue.
I fixed it by searching the missing file (In my case MyEO.xml which is a removed file) using JDeveloper (Menu Search/Search Files...).
It found an occurence in the related .jpr file.
In the .jpr, I deleted the related lines:
<Item>
<Key class="java.net.URL" path="xx/oracle/apps/.../MyEO.xml"/>
<Value idref="15"/>
</Item>
That's it.

WebUtil: oracle.forms.webutil.host.Host bean not found
Hi. This is my first attempt using WebUtil. The following code is in my When-New-Form-Instance trigger:
client_host('N:\TTMS\ITS\vbasic\compiled\MenuUpdate.exe');
This is the error I receive:
oracle.forms.webutil.host.Host bean not found
I've included my formsweb.cfg below for your reference. Note that the application is using the [ttmsmenu] configuration.
Thanks in advance for your help with this problem.

# $Id: formsweb.cfg 15-apr-2005.13:17:30 pkuhn Exp $
# formsweb.cfg defines parameter values used by the FormsServlet (frmservlet)
# This section defines the Default settings. Any of them may be overridden in the
# following Named Configuration sections. If they are not overridden, then the
# values here will be used.
# The default settings comprise two types of parameters: System parameters,
# which cannot be overridden in the URL, and User Parameters, which can.
# Parameters which are not marked as System parameters are User parameters.
# SYSTEM PARAMETERS
# These have fixed names and give information required by the Forms
# Servlet in order to function. They cannot be specified in the URL query
# string. But they can be overridden in a named configuration (see below).
# Some parameters specify file names: if the full path is not given,
# they are assumed to be in the same directory as this file. If a path
# is given, then it should be a physical path, not a URL.
# USER PARAMETERS
# These match variables (e.g. %form%) in the baseHTML file. Their values
# may be overridden by specifying them in the URL query string
# (e.g. "http://myhost.mydomain.com/forms/frmservlet?form=myform&width=700")
# or by overriding them in a specific, named configuration (see below)

I was running this form out of Form Builder 10g. At some point I changed the Application Server URL (Edit => Preferences => Runtime menus) from:
http://ssbuechl2.div16.ibm.com:8889/forms/frmservlet?config=ttmsmenu
to:
http://ssbuechl2.div16.ibm.com:8889/forms/frmservlet?
So my customized configuration with all the WebUtil references was not being referenced and I was getting the error.

Hi,
I have installed oracle application server 10g on server .Configured webutil in server. Am using Mac OS X as client machine.But i got error
" oracle.forms.webutil.cApi.CApiFunctions bean not found.WEBUTIL_C_API.REBIND_PARAMETER will not work "
Can you please assist in correcting this error...
Urgent PLS...
Thanks.Is the webutil.olb file accesible to the Form when you try to compile ?.

Hi. We develop our 10g forms on the Windows side and then deploy then on our UNIX server.
I have an application that compiles and runs fine when deployed on the UNIX-side of things, but when I attempt to run it on the Windows-side of things I get the error:
oracle.forms.webutil.browser.BrowserFunctions bean not found. WEBUTIL_SEPARATEFRAME. IsSeparateFrame will not work.
If I acknowledge this message then the form continues to run, but if it attempts to execute the WebUtil Client_Host functionality then I get the error:
oracle.forms.webutil.browser.BrowserFunctions bean not found. WEBUTIL.HOST.Execute will not work.
Any suggestions as to what I might have messed up configuration-wise on the Windows-side of things? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Ugh. I wasn't pointing to the WebUtil configuration. All good now.

I have a 6i form which generate data into excel, I have migrated with in 10g, configure Webutil, attach webutil in form, create object group by webutil.olb, replace all ole2 with Client_ole2.
there is no problem in compile time but when I run that form and Click on Generate button then it show below message.
oracle.forms.webutil.ole.OleFunctions bean not found.
CLIENT_OLE2.create_obj will not work
please helpHi BaiG,
thanks for your reply, I have done Step 7 successfully and start step 8.
I was following your step no. 8 (below Step)
8. Sign Webutil JAR files by running these following commands Make sure Form Builder is Closed
"C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\webutil>sign_webutil.bat c:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\java\frmwebutil.jar"
"C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\webutil>sign_webutil.bat c:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\java\jacob.jar"
But when I do that step on my Dos Prompt then it show below message and run.

Shared attribute in *-web-site.xml
What exactly does setting the shared attribute of a web-application in *-web-site.xml to "true" accomplish as far as sessions are concerned?
Even if the session object data may not be shared, should I not get the same session id for two web-applications that have shared="true" set for them in the *-web-site.xml file?
Also, why is the string returned from HttpServletRequest.getRequestedSessionId()
so much longer than that returned from HttpSession.getId() in iAS 9.0.3? Shouldn't they be the same if the session is active? In 9.0.3 standalone OC4J, the two method calls return the same string when the session is active. Why is there a difference between iAS 9.0.3 and standalone OC4J 9.0.3?Sumit -
The shared attribute is something that was inherited from the Orion codebase when OC4J was originally created.
There is a description of the shared attribute on the Orion documentation site.
http://www.orionserver.com/docs/web-site.xml.html
I don't know how this behavior functions on OC4J today since we have done a lot of work to implement an AJP protocol listener within OC4J to allow it to sit nicely behind Apache, and we've implemented some new security managers to support JAAS.

Today, when I tried to open web sites in Firefox from my Bookmarks, I could not. I continually received the following error message: This web site does not supply identity information.
I noticed that when I put the cursor on the box to the left of the address, that message appears. There is also '''no''' https:// before the address.
Can anyone help correct this problem? I believe sometime last week I may have fiddled with the Secutity settings in the Tools/Security option box and may have screwed up something trying not to have sites use cookies to track me?
Thanks,

thanksHi Guys,
I am wondering about this error as while I am using the same code to connect to the Oracle database server in my Windows program with Win Forms, the connection to the Oracle server is established and working fine.
But when I have tried to use it with Web Forms for my ASP.NET Application, it throws me out with these exceptions :
