Oracle 10g R2 Companion CD download does not work.

Hallo,
I'm not able to download more than cca 150MB of
http://download.oracle.com/otn/solaris/oracle10g/10201/sol64/10gr2_companion_sol.cpio.gz
All attempts to download the file are finished prematurely but without any obvious http error.
Any ideas how to resolve the problem?

You just resurrected a thread over four years old!
Anyway, Companion is nowadays called Database Examples. You can easily navigate to downloads and plenty of other resources via the top menu on the main page: http://www.oracle.com/
Go to Downloads > Database 11g. Scroll down to find older releases (e.g. 10g Companion CD).
Also note the forum description ("Use this forum to report ..."). One of the forums in the Database category might have been more suitable.

I have download the Oracle Database 10g Companion CD Release 1 (10.1.0.2) for Microsoft Windows (32-bit) in order to install http server, but when cliking on setup.exe,. nothing happens, tried on 2 machines witch has different configs, same thing !
Any idea, as my installation has to be finished.

Is there a space in the path from where you execute the instal.exe.
If so Use a path without spaces.
You can also try to start the setup.exe from a dos box.

OTN Jdeveloper Download does not work!

The JDeveloper download does not work. After entering the questions a 404 error page appears.

But I don't see the newer version and thats the problem. I downloaded the newer version one on my ipad so I could view these documents (I use icloud), and if that is the problem, I don't know. I do not see any icon at all with the newer verson on my imac and I'm scared to delete the old version on my imac until I'm sure I have the new one

Oracle Applications 11i Export to Excel does not work.

The export button does not work. When I click on export it says complete but does not bring up a window asking me to save. I have pop up blocker off and the site added to trusted sites. I have tried everything I have found so far but no luck. Help would be much appreciated.....thanks!!!!

Can you find any errors in the database log file?

I actually want help from the experts; and with my question everything is said. As I wrote: I returned to version 35.01 (US - before I had a German version - both worked or work) for the time being; with 36.0 almost everything is fine except that I cannot download videos any more.
The " educated guesses" seem to be correct except for the Shockwave; at least I couldn´t find it in the list.
Oh, I forgot: I got a message from my firewall when I had downloaded version 36, stating that it had blocked some features of this app, then listing those features, but giving the possibility to grant access to them ("Zugriff zulassen") on which I clicked. - See uploaded screenshot.
Any idea where the problem could be?

thanks for dealing with my Problem. I´m using the latest Version of downloadhelper; I mentioned that I downloaded the US-Version of 35.01, but the screenshot came from my German Windows 8.1.
I just downloaded 36 again & separately, got the same warning from Windows, clicked again on "grant Access" (Zugriff zulassen), tried out parallel 35.01 - Video download o.k. and 36 - Video download did not function. So I did not get further. The Firewall lets me - so it seems - download with one Version of Firefox and without any changes executed does not let me download with the new one.

Download does not work

I am trying to download cs6 production premium, but when i try to download on akamai the download "finishes" the first part of the download, and then restarts the entire download, over and over again. Also, when i try the alternative download some of the files are not extracted when i run the .exe that is supposed to extract the .7z file. When i try to extract the .7z file myself (attempted with both winrar and 7zip, it gives me a message that says some of the files are corrupt/broken. I've tried restarting my computer, changing permissions on the computer, and any other suggestion given on the help page, and I also searched the forums to see if i could find a solution. I have also recieved the message that i may not have enough memory on my computer, but i have over 500 gigabytes of free memory.

I tried both explorer and chrome with the same result, but when i tried firefox, when part one finished the download stopped and said it had an error of "Content validation error(invalid content)" and the alternate download still did not work. I looked at the akamai netsession interface console and it says that the data for part two of the download (the .exe file) is "unavailable", but the part one downloaded to 100%

SAP ViewPoint download - does not work

Hello SDN folks -
I was eager to try out SAP Viewpoint (available from the SDN download area.) I downloaded and successfully installed it this evening.
However, when I tried to use it, I received the error:
"Evaluation term has expired"
According to the license, the term is for 60 days. And, I just installed it. The software does not have a licensing component to enable (from what I can see).
Any ideas? Thanks for your assistance.

Oracle Applications Release12 on Windows XP does not work when internet?

Hi,
Please note that I have installed Oracle Apps R12 on WINDOWS XP and it works fine when i connected to Internet, why. I want Oracle Apps to work when when i am not connected to internet. I have wireless modem on my LAPTOP and, its not guarantee that where ever i go there is a internet connectivity avaiable.

The problem can be (at least i live this problem and it can be helpful for you too thaswhy i am posting):
oafm,forms and oacore not starting up after IP adress change Doc ID: 412980.1
The OC4J lock files contains the IP adress, after the ip adress change the lock files includes the wrong Ip adress which caused the OJ4J to faill. If you agree that solution is:
1. set your envoriment
2. follow document (its for linux but u can follow steps of document for windows too)

Check for available downloads does not work HELP

I had previously bought about 100 songs on my laptop, but we encountered a problem were my wireless network would not work. The support at HP wouldn't help us out unless we did a system restore first, so i lost all my stuff.
when i installed itunes again after the restore, it gave me one song from the check for available downloads option, and it says all available purchases have been located. Also, when i try to download a song I already had before it recognizes that I already downloaded it and tells me to use the check for available downloads button, which obviously is not helping me.
anyone else have this problem? I dont really wanna be out a hundred bucks...

It's the record companies who are controlling the pricing. They forced Apple to accept having more popular songs be more expensive as the price for allowing Apple to remove the copy protection. Rant at the record companies, little good though that will do.
Look for a folder called "Downloads" in your iTunes Music folder. If there is such a folder, look for files that would be the partial download and delete those, so that the download starts over from the beginning. Then try again using the "Check for Available Downloads" command under the iTunes Store menu.
If that doesn't work, contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of their web page and explain the problem to them.
Hope this helps. Next time, though, it would be better if you started your own topic rather than tagging onto someone else's thread.

Downloads does not work. Not to be found anywhere.

When I click on attachments in email (Yahoo), a Norton window appears, tells me there is no virus detected. I click on the yellow Download button and nothing happens. I have searched for the documents in the Download folder, in my Documents folder, by file name on my iMac. They aren't anywhere. I tried changing location to another folder for downloads - they don't show up there either.

It turns out my difficulty is caused by Yahoo Mail, not by Firefox at all. :-( Sorry to bother you. I had no way to know where the problem was until my kind and helpful friend identified where the problem was. (Yahoo says they know about it and are working on it). Thank you for helping.

Windows Vista 12.0.1 download does not work!

Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127) I had difficulty with trying to download upgrades all three times in 2014 (latest this Oct 2014). Programmers need to fix this issue permanently. I've tried four times following fix-it instructions to fix at my end but to no avail. I am without my music for how long? I guess I won't be buying any records!

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Hyperlink in MS Word document to Oracle Portal 9.0.4 form does not work

In a MS Word document a link to a Oracle Portal 9.0.4 form is written this way:

When clicking on the link, and at the same time holding the Ctrl-button, an error is displayed
Error: An unexpected error occurred: ORA-01403: no data found (WWV-16016)
and the URL is changed to
http://myserver/pls/portal/PORTAL.wwa_app_module.show?p_sessionid=248080&p_header=true
But if the hyperlink is copy/pasted from the Word document to the addressline of any browser, the form is opened without problems.
Any proposals how to write hyperlink in MS Word to Portal forms will be much appreciated.

Adobe archiver downloader does not work

on my win 7 machine which runs adobe photoshop elements 9 the downloader just keeps saying try again ???
I reall do not need this grief how do I protect my files and get an archive set up ?

I thought I would follow up to see if you are still having issues with the Adobe Media Downloader.
If you are having the issue, then we need to investigate this issue. We would have to look at the error logs -
Start your download and once it gets completed please send us the Log.txt file from the locations listed.
WIN : C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\com.adobe.px.Downloader.<some-num ber>\Local Store\
MAC : /users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.px.Downloader.<some-n umber>/Local Store/
You can email the log.txt file to smriti at adobe dot com
