Oracle 11.1.0.7 to latest release oracle 11.2 (Windows platform)

Question

Hi
I need to upgrade the present oracle database 11.1.0.7 to latest release of 11.2 ..(which is 11.2.0.1.3).?
I am confused with different documentation.
Can somebody please send me the correct documentation describing what to download first(which patches etc.,) along with step by step guide ..?
Platform is windows:
Present version is as follows:
SQL> select banner from v$version;
BANNER
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0 - Production
PL/SQL Release 11.1.0.7.0 - Production
CORE 11.1.0.7.0 Production
TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 11.1.0.7.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 11.1.0.7.0 - Production
The requirement is to update/upgrade the database with "The latest Patchset Update (PSU)"

Now because 11.2 will be installed in the new home,these scripts should have to be changed to reflect the new oracle home path?(where 11.2 is installed?)Yes correct - it is considered best practice to not hardcode such commands - these variables should be set in a environment file, and this env file should be invoked by scripts as needed. Future changes/upgrades will then necessitate changes only in this env file rather than all the scripts.
2)Another question I have is , when installing 11.2 in a new home, you said to install the most latest version of 11.2 in new home. can you provide me the link for that please?its windows 32 bit. Also if it is a most recent version, why patching is needed?
Most recent version is 11.2.0.3 - is it only available from My Oracle Support (https://support.oracle.com), access to which requires a paid support contract with Oracle. This is the base version. Oracle also releases patches on top of this base version - latest is 11.2.0.3.1 PSU which you need to apply (see MOS Doc 753736.1 - - Quick Reference to Patchset Patch Numbers ) - patches also can only be downloaded from MOS
3)Upgrade - After installing 11.2, I would have to use the DBUA from new oracle installation (DBUA for 11.2) for the upgrade process?
Yes correct - pl follow the steps in the Upgrade Guide
