Oracle 11g jars not being compatible with WAS 6.1.x versions
Hi,
We have an issue with Oracle 11g jars not being compatible with WAS 6.1.x versions.
If we use Oracle10g client jars then they are working with the 11g database.
Below are the findings
Working fine With Ojdbc14.jar
Not working With Ojdbc5.jar
WAS 6.0
Working fine With Ojdbc14.jar
Not working With Ojdbc5.jar
WAS 6.013
Working fine With Ojdbc14.jar
Not working With Ojdbc5.jar
As per IBM website link Oracle 11g should be working with WAS 6.1.0.21 upwards
Could somebody please help me regarding the same.

Is there a way around the cloud not being compatible with windows xp?
I have been using a blackberry bold but am excited to be purchasing the iphone 4s. My idea was to use 1 phone for both personal and business use. I have been synching the blackberry with outlook (non enterprise). I am a solo attorney and have one office computer not on a server. I was planning on synching business stuff (calendar, contacts) with outlook in the office on my windows xp computer and synch my media from a family shared library (via my playlist) on the cloud.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I can synch my contacts, calendar, etc to all of my i devices (incl. ipad 2 and itouch as well as my iphone ) without using hosted outlook exchange. (Exchange is not compatible with other office software).The dll's and exe's for Photo stream are located here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Internet Services
If you try and run ApplePhotoStreams.exe or ApplePhotoStreamsDownloader.exe you get an error saying "The procedure entry point SHGetKnownFolder path could not be located in the dll SHELL32.dll." It looks like this function call is not supported for XP:

Frustrating...Not sure there is a workaround, would be nice if you could drop in SHELL32.dll in the Windows folder that supported this function call. -
Help with WMA Audio book files not being compatible with Droid 2
I am trying to download a ebook that is in Overdrive Media Console onto my droid x2. When I try to transfer onto my droid, it says the format of this title(WMA Audiobook) is not compatible with the Motorola MB870 USB device. (MOT) Is there a 3rd party app that I can use and if so , how do you use it.

You should be able to find an application in the market to get eBooks on your Droid 2. I would recommend going to the market and search, using the keyword "Books." You can also follow these steps in the device itself.

Find it: > Books
To browse and select books, touch Get eBooks.Browse by category, or touch and search for a title or author. Touch a book to view more information about it. Touch Get Sample to get a free sample. To buy a book, touch the displayed price. After you confirm the purchase, the book is added to your library. Flick left and right to see more books in your library.

I've had my i5 for over a year now. I received a lightning cord with the phone and bought a second (for backup) and now both are telling me there are compatiblity issues. My iHome, which I usually use to charge my phone at night (via it's lightning docking station) is doing the same. It would seem an update brought this on. I could reset my phone, but I don't want to lose/re-set up everything. I can't be the only one
it may be an update that became corrupt during installation
hundreds of millions of users world wide do not have this issue
Reset ( no data lost ) and then if required restore with backup and finally as new to see if that fixes it -
My battery died while firefox was updating, now I cannot access anything but the error message mentioned above

Why is Apple lying about Siri not being compatible with the iPhone 4?
Why is Apple saying that Siri needs the A5 chip when theres videos all over the web of Siri working fine on the A4 chip!!!
Apple never explicitly stated that Siri requires the A5. Anyone stating otherwise is lying. If someone can disprove me, please do.
What Apple has explicitly stated is that Siri is in beta and is a feature of the iPhone 4S.
Lots of people have hacked or jailbroken phones and gotten lots of things working on them. That doesn't prove anything. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

There is no particular size limit on files; we do have a layer limit but if you were hitting that it would have explicitly told you so.
If you are still having trouble, and you have files that you can share privately with me, I'll be happy to take a look [we take your privacy very seriously and our lawyers won't let us just go snooping in your files :-) so you have to explicitly share them with us] -

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

Would like to upgrade to Dragon Naturally Speaking 11 from DNS 6 (which would also entail a necessary upgrade from Windows 2000 to 7) but understand after all this expense and trouble, DNS upgrade may not be compatible with Firefox 6?
Main priority is voice activation upgrade. Ideas about how to proceed appreciated!AFAIK, it's been over three years since a WinXP laptop or desktop PC has been sold; I specifically bought a laptop in June 2008 because it was being clearanced by that retail chain to meet Microsoft's deadline, and got it real cheap. It was tagged for the store manager to purchase, but he let me have it because I exceeded his expectations for the services I performed for his store and thought I deserved it. Anything that wasn't made for Vista-compatibility will be very iffy with Win7, IMO - so that basically rules out anything that was made before like Oct or Nov 2007.
Unless another DNS 11 user happens to see this thread and can verify whether it works in Firefox 6.0 or not, I don't what to recommend except for you doing a web search to see what other DNS / Firefox users have to say about compatibility. -

The 4.0.1 and 5.0 are two separate versions as installing 4.0.1 over 5.0 will just give you the old 4.0.1 as the end result.
The 5.0 is partially as a security update in place of 4.0.2.
The Skype extension was only for to make it so you can dial phone numbers on a web page in the separate Skype program right so if you were not using it then no need for the Skype extension for the separate Skype application to work. -

I concur with Matthew. The release notes for sun cluster and oracle for solaris might tell you. oracle 9.2.0.8 is out of support on solaris and I recall needing a number of patches to get it to a fit state ... and that is without considering sun cluster. Extended support for 9.2.0.8 ended about 4 years ago ... this is not a combination I would currently be touching with a bargepole! You are best to seek on MOS. -

Did you mean VPD (virtual private database)? If so, the answer to your question is "No". Oracle's implementation of VPD uses Row Level Security, which was only introduced into 8.1.7.

You are correct, Blue tooth low engergy, BTLE.(only) devices are not backward compatible with Classic bluetooth and cannot connect.
However the Apple 4S and above have Bluetooth 4.0 support.. Hardware wise it has bothClassic Bluetooth, like the 3GS, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no good reason why your 4s cannot communicate to your Sony in-dash player using the Classic bluetooth that resides in the 4S.
I know that this does not answer the why it does not work, but it should work. Do you have to somehow re-pair the new phone up to the player? Not knowing the model of the Sony it is hard to investigate.
And I hate to ask but are you sure that the Bluetooth radio is on in the phone?
