  • Transfer Billing document to accounting, Error: 'Object not known in COu2019

    Hi all,
    I have created an acquisition contract and subsequently created a billing document in CRM but when I try and transfer this to accounting, the system displays error message IAOM028 u2013 u2018Object not known in COu2019.  My account assignment category on the contract is EROBJ u2013Profitability Segment CO-PA, however I have tried creating acquisition contracts with other account assignments but the same error occurs, even though the controlling object exists in SAP ERP. Iu2019ve searched the SAP notes and I did see note 683886, but this affected release 4 and we are working with release 7. Any help or advice in resolving this error would be much appreciated.
    Alternatively how do I mark the item category as not relevant to CO? For now itu2019s not imperative that I post to a controlling object? The SAP help portal refers to selecting (or in my case deselecting) the Service setting in the Assign BW/CO fieldu2019 but I canu2019t find this field on the item category. Any advice again would be greatly appreciated.
    Many Thanks
    Lee

    Hello,
    The reason might be the transfer error, is due to the incomplete distribution of the order/contract to R/3 account assignment table IAOM_EXT_OBJ_INF.
    For your invoice, check entry for document number/item number. It might be missing and if so, system shows error message as you mentioned.
    If entries are missing, then the order/contracts need to be re-distributed to R/3, so that the entries are created for these missing items in the IAOM tables. The transfer process then will complete missing entries successfully.
    To re-distribute to R/3, the respective document needs to be save after making a change in the document. Unless there is a change in the document, the re-distribution will not happen.
    I hope this information may helpful to solve your issue.

    Harshad Patel.

  • BPM_DATA_COLLECTION fails with (Output device "" not known) error

    Hi all,
    I have an issue with Output BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 job in the satellite system  failing with 'Output device "" not known error.  Since it is collecting data for Solution Manager system why does is it trying to find an output device.
    It did not fail before and now I added another key figure (custom one) which is done the same way the other custom monitors are done in "Z_BPM_ECU_COLLECTOR" report and then in /SSA/EXM program, but the collector job started to fail.
    Also, for some reason there are two BPM_DATA_COLLECTION jobs, one is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 and the other is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_2.  _1 runs every 5 min and _2 is less frequent. They both seem to runt the same job which is /SSA/EXS. Why are there two jobs scheduled from solution manager in my satellite system?
    Thank you very much for your help!

    I am experiencing this same issue in our ECC 6.0 system.  We currently have ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001 applied to our system.  These jobs finish successfully in SM37, but I'm seeing the same error messages in our system logs (SM21).
    When I try to update the output device that is associated with these jobs, the user ID running the jobs is not valid since it's user type is Communication Data.
    Does anyone know if it ok to change the user for this job? Should it be run by DDIC?  I believe the jobs were created automatically when we applied ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001.

  • Oracle sid 102isql service not working

    Hi,
    oracle<sid>102isql is not in start status, when i try to start it i got below message.
    the above service could not start local services and error:1067 the process terminated unexpectedly.
    iam not able to connect the SAP for this reason.Please advice.
    Regards,
    Asif

    Hi,
    Check the DB and Listener is UP or not.. If it OK and still you are facing database connection problem then check the TNS entry in tnsnames.ora file is correcty given or not. The host, port and SID of TNS entry should match with Listener Host, Port and SID.
    Check the Listener status using the command
    lsnrctl status
    Check the TNSping using Command
    tnsping <DB TNS entry name>
    Then check SAP is able to connect the DB using command
    R3trans -d
    if it give the return code 0, then SAP will be able to connect DB.
    Thanks
    Manoj

  • Oracle 10g crashes Windows 2003 server (bluescreen)

    Hello,
    i have a problem that Oracle 10G crashes my Windows 2003 Server. All components are up-to-date and it is a certified system setup. The database worked well for months, but three days ago when our staff went to a workshop, I shut down the machine, and when we came back yesterday I just powered it up again (no changes have been done in the meantime).
    The boot procedure ended up at a bluescreen, I tried two more times with the same result. I was able to deactivate many services to narrow down the error cause. It came out that the starting of the OracleDBConsoleorcl service causes the bluescreen :
    BAD_POOL_CALLER 0x000000C2 (0x00000044,0x00000000,0x80000000,0x00000000) . This is re-producable, I just have to switch on that service and it will bluescreen the machine.
    The strange thing is, that the OracleServiceORCL is working fine, I can even use SQL-Plus and RMAN to get to the data, but without the OracleDBConsoleorcl the Enterprise manager doesnt work anymore, and our applications also cannot connect to the database. I´ve looked up the error on google, it seems to be an error in addressing memory. Anyway, the database worked fine for weeks and I wonder why I cant get it back into business anymore. Right now, i´m lost. Anybody know what to do with this error ?

    It turned out to be an error in the Windows 2003 OS-Kernel. Every install/uninstall of programs immediately leads to a bluescreen. Luckily, this can be solved with a hotfix from microsoft (you gotta email them to get it, it is not public yet). The corresponding article in the microsoft knowledge base is http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;888431
    It will install a new ntoskrnl.exe and the problem is solved afterwards (oracle DB starts again, and also the other install/uninstall problems are solved). Hint : Boot to safe mode and then install the hotfix, if you just start the hotfix it will bluescreen right when you click onto the hotfix.

  • Frequent Oracle*Reports crashes

    Frequent crashes causes Oracle*Reports to be almost unusable. I am using Report Builder v6.0.8.25.0, a very recent patch set. The crashes are not repeatable, i.e. they cannot be reproduced with a rehearsed set of mouse clicks. But nearly all have to do with moving back and forth between the data wizard.
    Moving to Reports 9i was such a disaster that it was decided to return to 6i. I don't need the features in 9i so this isn't an issue.
    What can I do to capture more meaningful data on these crashes?

    The following is from a recent crash:
    Error Signature

    Hi!
    I am developing a user interface from ASP.NET/C# (.NET framework version 2.0) to allow users to view the crystal report as a PDF document. I am using ORACLE 10g parameterized Stored Procedure to retrieve the data from the database.
    The report previews perfectly alright in the Crystal Report designer but fails to behave the same in ASP.NET 2.0 run time environment.
    I am using Crystal Report XI Release 2 with incremental service pack 4. The Crystal DLL version in my .net solution is 11.5.3700
    Also, my report has another embedded Sub Report which uses another Stored Procedure but the same parameter as in main report.
    The error that I face (i.e. the field name is not known) is on the sub report and not on the main report. If I remove the sub-report from the main report design, then I have no errors.
    Am I missing any hot fix for this problem or CR XI Release 2 with SP4 does not support sub report functions?
    Please guide me as I am struggling with this problem from last two weeks and I am very close the production release.
    Thanks for your support in advance.

    My current code:
    myReportDocument = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument();
    conInfo = GetReportConnectionInfo();
    myReportDocument.Load(@"C:\VS2005Projects\Article776\CrystalTest\PrintLettersNew.rpt");
    foreach (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.Table rptTable in myReportDocument.Database.Tables)
                rptTblLogOn = new CrystalDecisions.Shared.TableLogOnInfo();
                rptTblLogOn.TableName = rptTable.Name;
                rptTblLogOn.ConnectionInfo = conInfo;
                rptTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(rptTblLogOn);
                //     db.Log_Result(rptTable.Name + " is able to Connect ? = ","",rptTable.TestConnectivity().ToString() );
    myReportDocument.SetParameterValue("P_STRING_PARAM", "PARM_VALUE");
    myReportDocument.ExportToDisk(CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, @"C:\VS2005Projects\LetterNew.pdf");
    private static CrystalDecisions.Shared.ConnectionInfo GetReportConnectionInfo()
            CrystalDecisions.Shared.ConnectionInfo retVal = null;
            retVal = new CrystalDecisions.Shared.ConnectionInfo();
            retVal.DatabaseName = "TSTDB";
            retVal.ServerName = "TSTDB";
            retVal.UserID = "TST_USER";
            retVal.Password = "TST_USER_PWD";
            return retVal;

    Hi;
    I don't see in your code where you are passing the stored procedure parameter to the subreport. This could be what is missing. Have a look at the samples here:
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006252712008E/csharp_web_smpl.exe
    I believe one of these demonstrates passing parameters for a subreport.

  • "This field name is not known" issue

    Hi SAP TechSupport Team!
    I have unresolved issue related to "This field name is not known" error while running my report via ReportDocument's function Export(). Before that I correctly gave all required parameters. This report work fine if I am using it with ReportViewer. I could not understand reason of that error. Please help to resolve this.
    CrystalReports is being used is the 10.5 version, in VS 2008. That report was created in CrystalReport 8.5 old version
    Thanks in advance
    Vasil Avagyan

    Hi Vasil,
    CR 8.5 uses old DB drivers. In CR 9 we completely re-wrote the DB drivers so likely what is happening is you either may have CR 8.5 on the same PC and VS is finding the drivers located in \windows\crystal folder or you simply need to update those CR 8.5 reports to CR 9 or above.
    FYI's:
    CR 8.5 still supported a CR Native SQL server driver, that driver is no longer shipped or supported, need to convert to ODBC or OLE DB.
    Parameter API's completely changed also, may be issue with Parameters too.
    CR 8.5 is not side by side compatible with any other version, remove CR 8.5 or put VS 2008 on a different PC that has never had CR installed on it.

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Sporadic "This field name is not known. Details: errorKind"

    I am running CRVS2010 Beta 2 on the VS2010 trial version. I have been converting reports to this new version, but sometimes I get the error:
    This field name is not known. Details: errorKind Error in File XX11X1 {1X1111X1-1XX1-1X1X-111X-11111111X11X}.rpt: Error in formula tot-appr: '{@commited0}+{XX11X.AMT1} + {XX11X.AMT2} + {XX11X.AMT3} + {XX11X.AMT4} + {XX11X.AMT_FUT} ' This field name is not known. Details: errorKind
    I have done a lot of searching on this forum, Google, and Bing, but it seems everyone who receives this error message has just created the report or moved it to a new database, and the error is caused by a mis-pointed formula. I don't have that problem: in my case, the report usually works.
    I have tried querying the Oracle database immediately after receiving this error, and all the fields mentioned do exist, exactly where they ought to. The problem never exists when logging on with my own account, and sometimes works when logging on with other accounts, but I have not figured out a way to predict whether it will work or not.
    I have four reports I am running: one always works, two get this sort of error sometimes, and one (which is formatted differently) always shows up without errors, but is sometimes inexplicably blank. I cannot figure out in what way the report that always works is different from the two with this error (aside from obvious issues of layout and querying different tables, I mean).
    I'm at a loss for where to look next. I know this information won't be enough as-is, but I hope that your clarifying questions can help me find the error.
    Thank you for your consideration.
    EDIT: changed database names in case I get in trouble for revealing proprietary information, even though I don't think it's likely

    Hello,
    Are you using a data Set? I believe the System.Data.OracleClient is the .NET Oracle client but not sure and not sure how reliable it is or what it's based on.
    What happens if you create a new report using the DataDirect OLE DB provide or Oracles OLE DB provide or use CR Oracle native driver?
    In the Connection Wizard select Oracle, that's the native driver, then when set log on info you just specify the Server name, User and PW, leave the database blank.
    Then what API's are you using to connect/set the log on info?
    I'm guessing that the error you are getting is likely an indexing problem in the table names etc. but not sure. if you search in this forum on "crlogger.dll" you could enable our database logging component and it may give you more info on what the cause is.
    Thank you

    Summary
    Symptom
    You are on SAP ECC 6.0 or ECC 7.0 (ERP2005 or ERP 2007). You don't use the industry solution GPD ('Grouping, Pegging, Distribution'). When you try to archive the object PP_ORDER or MM_EKKO, the pre-processing job completes fine, but the write job fails with the error: "Class AR_GPD to be registered is not known".

    Reason and Prerequisites
    The reason is missing customizing entries.
    Solution
    Please make the following changes in customizing/configuration:
    [1] Transaction ACLA:
    You need to add a new entry as follows:
    Class    Description                    Function Group
    AR_GPD    GPD Object Archive Class        AGPD
    [2] For this archiving class, you need to define the "Tables to be Archived" as follows:
    Structure        Do not delete
    PEG_TACTASS       check
    PEG_TASS          check
    PEG_TSTK          check
    [3] For the archiving class, define "tables from Which You Only Delete Entries:
    Tab. name
    PEG_TACTASS
    PEG_TASS
    PEG_TSTK
    [4] Transaction ACLA:
    Class P_ORDER -> Archiving classes used: include AR_GPD.
    [5] Transaction AOBJ:
    Archiving object MM_EKKO: Archiving classes Used -> AR_GPD
    Archiving object PP_ORDER: Archiving classes Used -> P_ORDER

  • Oracle instance crashed

    Oracle-Version: 9i R2 9.2.0.1.0.
    Hello !
    My oracle instance crashed and I found the following message in the log file :
    LGWR: terminating instance due to error 472
    Instance terminated by LGWR, pid = 1304
    I have not found any other messages and the ORA-00472 message says that the PMON process terminated with error.
    Did anybody have the same error ?
    I need to know why the instance crashed.
    I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.
    Andreas

    The 472 is just the error issued when the Oracle background processes are signaled to terminate. It would appear log writer took an error and either notified the other background processes to terminate or it terminated and another backgroun process detected the problem, probably smon, and killed the rest of the system processes.
    Look in the bdump directory for the log writer trace file and see what it says. There may also be some entries in the alert log depending on exactly what happened.
    If the database fired back up without problem and the problem does not reoccur frequently then if might just be one of those things. However, if you can find the trace file and error messages for the problem cause then you should probably open an iTAR with Oracle support to find out he fix/work around.
