Oracle Apps DBA Advice

Hi,
I'm into oracle dba for past 5 years. I don't have any idea but interested in oracle apps dba could anyone please guide me some input on oracle applications and it dba activities. I would like to install oracle application in my laptop, is it feasible? Please advice

I would like to install oracle application in my laptop, is it feasible? Please adviceDepends on what hardware resources you have on your laptop.

    I agree with Asif,I'm now working both as DBA and Apps DBA.You have to be strong in DBA aspects.The functional modules HR,GL knowledge will be added to advantage.In Apps you will see everything deals with file system.If you are learning apps.Can you please keep an eye on my blog.I will be putting soon all my experiment and practises and learn now from the below sites:

    I am Certified for DBA on both 9i and 10g. Now I am planning to do Oracle Apps DBA Certification. Is that necessary I need to the Database Funda I and Funda II Exam again. Is that 11i Exam is alone is enough to be Oracle Apps DBA?

    Since you are an Oracle 9i & 19g Certified, then you are directly eligible to write the Apps DBA Exam - 1z0-233.
    Pre-requisite for 1Z0-233 exam is that one should have earned Oracle9i and 10g Database Administrator Certified Professionals can achieve an upgrade to the Oracle 11i Applications Database Administrator Certified Professional credential through passing the exam Oracle 11i Install, Patch and Maintain Applications - 1Z0-233.

    These are not universal technical terms with clear meanings. ALL job titles mean only what the person/organization using them means for them to mean.
