Oracle.apps.gl.Journals.journal.post event parameter

I have written a subscription on the oracle.apps.gl.Journals.journal.post event and it's raising fine and I would like to control this event's subscription to a particular set of books id instead of firing across all set of books. How can I send the parameter to my event subscription?

The note shows the raising the subscription, I have successfully generated the subscription but I need to know the how can I pass the set of books id to my custom subscription.

Hi,
I have created a custom test subscription for the above event.I have simply created a rule function which inserts values in a custom table to show that the event is being fired.
I tested from workflow responsibility, and yes, event is being captured and values are being inserted in the custom table. Means, from test subscription, its working.
However, now I am trying to respond an notification from email(actual testing of the event). The notificatoin gets processed, but my function is not being called. In other words, possibly my event subscription is not being fired, seeded one is working though.
I checked WF_NOTIFICATION_IN table. The email responses are received here and their state also shows from 0 to 2 changing. Also, the DEQ_TIME column also has values.
So the question is how to know why my subscription is not being fired?

One Update.
I tried to fire some different event and registered this function with that.
Its working with this event.
Does that mean that oracle.apps.wf.notification.receive.message event is not being fired?

Oracle.apps.ont.oi.xml_int.status event

I am trying to set up a subscription on the oracle.apps.ont.oi.xml_int.status(11.5.10) event via processing constraint to raise the subscription after the pick release. I am using the update operation and user action as Raise Integration event but not raising this event after the pick release.
Is there any event available in the 11.5.10 to raise the subscription after the back orders?

hi,
No business event is raised when Order is booked. You have to use OM show sales order workflow to raise event on booking of Order.

Oracle apps Adapter for EBS group event

Hi
I am working on EBS - OTM integration through SOA.
I have configured EBS group event in SOA through Oracle apps adapter but it is not creating instance on EM for same composite eventhough records are getting enqueued in EBS queue.
EBS version - 12.1.1
SOA version - 11.1.1.7
If anybody faced same issue please help me to resolve this.

We also have same requirement. We have BPEL connection using custom oracle user, xx_b2b and when we use APPS adapter, I can not see and use any business event.
If anybody across same requirement, please share your experience.

Oracle.apps.ar.hz.Location.update event still working

Dear All,
I facing a problem, a even was disabled few months back, but still the even sending work flow mails. i have followed this below metalink document
Oracle.Apps.Ar.Hz.Location.Update / Oracle.Apps.Ar.Hz.Location.UpdateXXXXXX [ID 352888.1]
As per the Document, i have disabled the event,, now again the same wf mail coming, what might be the reason,, how to stop this WF

i found another Metalink note *Can the event 'oracle.apps.ar.hz.Location.update' be disabled? [ID 315800.1]*.
According to this note, i have disabled this following two subscriptions
WSH_MAP_LOCATION_REGION_PKG.Rule_Location
hz_crmhk_pkg.update_location_prenow waiting for the Client mail, if the wf is not triggred then no problem otherwise i have log an SR as u said.
more over i have a doubt in that above mentioned metalink note, can u explain me what is TCA information
These functions would not get executed via workflow but the application that uses these will have a way to handle this in the application. Please check with those groups on what >to run in those applications to handle the workflow functions.
It is fine to disable the event or if you do not want to run any of the TCA workflow events then just set the HZ: Execute API Callouts profile option to NO and workflow events will >not be used for when updating TCA information.Regards

Event oracle.apps.ar.applications.CashApp.apply

Hi,
My application is using oracle.apps.ar.applications.CashApp.apply. I am familiar with AR in 11i I did not use any workflow/event. I do not know what this event does? Somebody can explain me this functionality (apps.ar.applications.Cas..)? Do I have to use it in my application I think I do not need any notification and additional action associated with cash apply.

I am getting frequent error notifications in my production system with error message:

these notifications are generated in 100's per day and reached more than 200 thousand now.

Capture event oracle.apps.wf.notification.receive.message

Hi,
I am trying to capture the event oracle.apps.wf.notification.receive.message.
Whenever system receives an email response of a notification, I want to insert some values to a table.
I have created subscription on this event and calling a package procedure which inserts the data into table.
Now, If I test the event from the business events screen itself, subscription is working (i.e. inserting the data into table).
However, when I am replying a notification, I can see that event is fired (from system administratoin->workflow->agent activity), but values are not being inserted in the table.
My package procedure has pragma autonomous transaction and commit.
Also, I have tried various combinations of event being Local or external.
Any thoughts why the subscription is not coming in action?

Oracle.apps.po.rcv.rcvtxn firing twice

Hi,
I am using oracle.apps.po.rcv.rcvtxn business event which is fired when we do a receipt trasaction in PO. I have created a pkg.function in which it just enters 2 values into a cutom table. I map this pkg.func to the subscription.
Now when I test this subscription from Workflow Admin--> Business events -->Events with a key it fires properly as in it inserts 2 values into the custom table.
But when I actually fire while saving a receipt transaction it inserts data into the table, but twice. I used a sequence and inserted it. 2 different sequnces were inserted. It means it is fired twice.
Any clue where I am going wrong?

Oracle App Server 10.1.3.1 + Struts2 parameter map loss

I am facing an issue with oracle app server 10.1.3.1. With an application deployed in it, any .action hit seems to lose the parameter map. However, i m using Spring MVC with jasper reports for reporting purpose. So hitting a .report seems to go thru without the parameter map loss. I m using struts 2.0.11 in the application.
I have also tried the workaround related to struts.properties - (struts.dispatcher.parametersWorkaround = true). Did not help.
I wrote a CustomActionMapper which is an exact copy of DefaultActionMapper but for the addition of a few log statements to see the parameter map and uri.
I can notice the paramter map coming out empty even when data is posted or queryString with parameters sent.
Any leads on this truly appreciated.

I've try my codes by subscription "oracle.apps.wf.notification.send" event , and when notification send it can work ! I'm sure that there have no different between the subscription "oracle.apps.wf.notification.close" and the subscription "oracle.apps.wf.notification.close" in the subscription step .
Doesn't when notification closing raise the "oracle.apps.wf.notification.close" event?

Oracle Apps adapter not displaying any Business Events

We have configured a Business Event in Oracle ebs R12 instance. Now we are trying to configure Oracle Apps Adapter in Oracle Jdeveloper. The version is 11.1.1.3.
The apps adapter wizard; after connecting to the ebs instance; does not display any tables/Business events.
The connection to the ebs instance is done by a normal user i.e. 'apps' user credentials are not used. We are not provided with 'apps' user credentials due to security reasons. We need help in figuring out the privileges that shld be granted to the 'normal' user so that we can browse and select the Business event in Jdeveloper and also the apps adapter can create the subscriptions and queues successfully in ebs.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated...

Oracle Apps 11i: Output Post Manager is down

Hi Experts,
I was working on Oracle application cloning 11i lately and after completing the clone, my conc. manager output post manager (OPP) is not coming up in target system.
I tried to fix the issue by running "cmclean.sql" and thn ran autoconfig on application node, but still the issue persists

In ICM log file, I see occurrence of these error messages in bulk.It looks Mangers are wrongly defined or fnd_nodes having some incorrect values.
Do I have to perform the application clone again or is there any another way to fix it.
