Oracle Apps R12.0.4 startCD is corrupted, how to proceed installation?

We got new release software i.e. R12.0.4.When i copied DVD's using AIX 'cp -R * /stage1204/..' command, copied successfull to Stage directory but when installation started, got this error.
ERROR
Processing Disk1....
AC-00023: Error: Exception: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/vision1204/visebs/db/db/tech_st/10.2.0/temp/restart.xml (Permission denied) occured
while writing
Context file - /vision1204/visebs/db/db/tech_st/10.2.0/temp/restart.xml
Unzip Failed:Insufficient Disk Space
Unable to complete install of database
Stage directory is created using root user and Rapidwiz was ran using non-root user having DBA group assigned.
Later, i removed the software from Stage directory and tried to ran perl script 'adautostg.pl' for having autostage directory.Even this step failed when tried to load 2nd DVD as cdrom shows 'Resource Busy' error. Even unmounted and mounted so many times, still CDROM is unable to eject 1st DVD.
When we open SR with metalink, they told us to download startCD and proceed with installation.
My question is 'how to create Stage Directory using manual aix 'cp' command or perl script 'adautostg.pl'? Which one is error free?

Please note that downloading the media from E-Delivery does not require using any script. Instead, just unzip the downloaded files, and this will create the stage area for you.

Oracle Apps R12 installation fails.....

Hi All,
I have installed Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.3, and trying to install Oracle Apps R12.
I have created the stage area named /stg12 and the structure is as follows:
--StarHere/startCD.....
--RDBMS/Disk1/oraDB and oraDB2
--Database/Disk1/oraAppDB, oraAppDB2 and oraAppDB3
---Database/Disk2/oraAppDB, oraAppDb2 and oraAppDB3
Database/Disk8/.........
--Tools/Disk1/oraAS
--APPL_TOP/Disk1/oraApps, oraApps2 and oraApps3
/Disk2/oraApps
This is how the files were listed on edelivery website and i downloaded them and unzipped them in same sequence......
After Rapidwiz checks are done ,,it says do you want to install Oracle Apps.... when i click yes,,,it asks for CD locator for RDBMS Disk1 and when i give path as /stg12/RDBMS/Disk1/oraDB,,,,it unzips some files and then again asks for RDBMS/Disk1,,,,,when i give path now as /stg12/RDBMS/Disk1/oraDB2.......it says error 50004,,,check log files.......
I have applied all the patches applicable,,,,,like Http server patch and rapidwiz patch.
please some one tell me how to create the stage area........im running the installation as oracle user not as root.....

also at the time of installtion for database and application node information i gave the same user and group......oracle and dba respectively....is that fine.....
so now i issue a command su - oracle and supply the password....and then when i issue.....Do you mean use used a single user (i.e. oracle) to own the application tier and the database tier files? If so, then this is fine.
adstpall.sh apps/<apps password>", then "adstrtal.sh apps/<apps passwordYou need to change to the directory where the script exists. As oracle user, change the directory to $APPL_TOP, and source (run) the env file (APPSORA.env), then issue "cd $INST_TOP/admin/scripts" and run the adstrtal.sh script.

How to delete a project in Oracle apps R12

OS RHEL 5.5
Database 11.1.0.7
Applications R12
Initially I have created a project in oracle apps from wrong template and modified the template then created a project with the same modified template.
Now the wrong project needs to be deleted so how to delete the project which had been created from wrong template in oracle apps R12 and integrated project with MSP.
Both the wrong and correct projects are referring to the same template.
Please help me to delete the project as it is done in production database.

Font issue in Custom Reports in oracle Apps R12.1.1

Hi Friends,
I am using Oracle Apps R12.1.1. Vision Instance.
i develop custom report (using 10g DS ) and i used Ariel a font and i deployed custom report.it works fine
The same report i opened in report builder and add a new parameter and used the same font Ariel and saved and then deployed but the concuurent report is showing all the columns in symbol(western) font not in arial font.
what could be the issue? the first report shows proper font.Please let me kno the fix

yes i have used template.fmb only , and am using FND_KEY_FLEX.DEFINE as i mentioned earlier ,
i have not given any where clause -- should we give any where clause to retrieve the data into the combinations(LOV)?It depends on what values you want to retrieve.
i mean my requirement is if i give % and press tab all the valid combinations should be displayed.
its showing no entries found.Did you review 420787.1 referenced above?

Good Day! Hope you all are doing well.
My management needs OTP on mobile/email for log-in into Oracle APPs R12 for some key users in our Organization.
Let me explain the requirement is detail, When user log-in to oracle apps by entering his/her user name and password then system send an email or send sms on mobile for One time password. When user provide this OTP then he is able to log-in to the Oracle Apps.

How to reset TimeZone in oracle apps R12 instance?

I need to reset TimeZone in Oracle Apps R12 instance. When i ran Oracle Diagnostics,Java system properties report,i found that user.timezone=GMT-03:00.This is the reason showing time on Oracle Application Manager is wrong.
I need to reset to GMT+03:00, how do i reset the timezone?

Yes, the date is set properly at the OS level.
TimeZone values are as follows:

I need to list all users who were granted particular function (suppliers) from oracle apps R12 database. User -->Resp -->Menu --> Submenu/function. I have two queries like the following

I am planning to install the Oracle Apps R12 and I already downloaded the media-pack from edelivery.oracle.com.
But I am not sure how to do it because I have tree-tier architecteur at home :
One computer with LINUX OS (OEL 5.5) which hold the Oracle Database 11gR2 -- Database tier
One computer with LINUX OS (OEL 5.5) which hold the Oracle Application Server 10g ver 10.2.0 (infra and middle) -- Midel-tier
One computer with XP OS -- Client tier
Could any one explain me how to install it?

I am new to oracle apps R12. I have to develop a form which is based on views which are org_id specific. My data block is based on view which is org_id specific. Can anyone tell me what all settings i need to do in my form so that i can get the data on the basis of org_id. I am working on oracle apps R12 right now.
