Oracle AutoVue Configuration for UCM or WCC

I am facing problem during configuration of AutoVue for UCM or WCC. When I run JVue server, it executes normally while, when i check Jvueservlet server, an error has been occurred like java execution program property error. After completing installation and configuration AutoVue for UCM, When one clicks on "View In AutoVue", then it opens in a new window but again an error occurred and nothing to display. Kindly give me related solution or post Screens for Oracle AutoVue in UCM installation and configuration.

Hi Ora-Tech,
When you say "Jvueservlet" shows an error, are you referring to the "VueServlet"? If the VueServlet status page is showing an error, then this means there's either a problem on the application server hosting the VueServlet, or a problem with the AutoVue server itself. What is the exact error message you're seeing on the VueServlet status page? Also, when this error occurs, did you also check the AutoVue server admin console to see if all processes are still running properly?
If this is a VueServlet or AutoVue server issue, and if the issue still persists, I would recommend to log a Service Request through the My Oracle Support portal so that our Support team can help diagnose.
Thanks,
Graham

  • Oracle Text Search for UCM on Standard One

    I'm curious if OracleTextSearch Component for UCM would work with 11g Standard One (or if there are any limitations running UCM with Standard One). Any experiences out there - as this would be for primarily smaller instances?

    As far as I can tell, that component exposes some of the functionality of Oracle Text 11g.
    Looking at this feature comparison set here:
    http://www.oracle.com/database/product_editions.html
    It looks like the Standard Edition includes Oracle Text.
    Having said that, i've used Oracle Database 11g Standard as a development platform for a while. I would think that would be just fine, considering the small amount of information supplied about your particular implemetnation, metrics baselines, etc.

  • Oracle 10g Configuration for Student Edition

    To Whom It May Concern,
    I am currently enrolled in an Oracle 10g course at a local community college, and am using the "Guide to Oracle 10g" textbook by Morrison, Morrison & Conrad (ISBN: 0-619-21629-8). This book came with two CD's that contain a scaled-down student version of two Oracle 10g databases (Northwoods University & Clearwarter Traders).
    I have attempted to install and configure the database software so that I can log on to the databases using SQL*Plus, but I am unable to do so. When attempting to log on, I get a "TNS:no listener" error (ORA-12541) or similar error. I have tried adding and configuring a listener, net service, etc. using the Oracle Net Configuration Assistant, but nothing works. The configuration tests always fail. I am sure that I am using the correct host name (I checked the TNSNames.ora file).
    Can you please assist? Do you have documentation (or advice) on how to successfully configure this software?
    Thank you,
    Greg

    Thanks again for your reply, Phiri. I tried your suggestion, but still get the same errors. I tried searching the Oracle Home directory for a batch or executable file with the name "lsnrctl", but the search only returns two htm files. It looks like it can't execute the program simply because it does not exist.
    NOTE: According to the .htm files, you are supposed to include the listener name after the command.
    Ex: lsnrctl start My_Listener_01
    I tried this, but it did not work either

  • How to configure the Oracle XSL Mapper for ‘schemaLocation’ attribute?

    In the Transformation_1.xsl I need to have the ‘schemaLocation’ attribute defined as such:
    <inc:CaseIncidentReport xsi:schemaLocation="http://caseincidentreport.com/1.0.4 CaseIncidentReport.xsd">
    This is fine as long as long as I don’t switch to the Design tab. When I switch to the Design tab, Oracle XSL Mapper regenerates the XSL file and renders the root element as
    <inc:CaseIncidentReport>
    Can some one tell me how to configure Oracle XSL Mapper for ‘schemaLocation’ attribute? I am using BPEL Designer/JDeveloper Version 10.1.2.1.0 (Build 1915)

    What do you mean by normal import? Where can I include the 'schemaLocation' attribute in the Designer? I have no trouble adding the shemaLocation in the source tab but when I switch to the design tab it always stripe it off.

  • Looking for oracle.siebel.configurator.screen.Configurator

    I'm exploring an upgrade of Siebel 8.1.1.3 to 8.1.1.10. The software upgrade seemed to go without errors, and I believe I need to do an incremental repository merge. However, when I run the command to kick that off (/opt/siebel/config/config.sh -mode dbsrvr) I get an error saying "Could not find the main class: oracle.siebel.configurator.screen.Configurator. Program will exit."
    I'm running Slackware Linux on my test box, I know unsupported, but 8.1.1.3 has worked fine so far. This server has all the Siebel components installed on it in /opt/siebel. I have sourced the siebenv.sh file beforehand. I have examined all the jar files in my siebel install directory and cannot find that class.
    Can someone tell me what I am missing?
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hi ,
    1. Have you sourced dbenv.sh before launching DB config wizard?
    Before you run the Database Configuration Wizard, you must source either dbenv.csh (for C shell) or dbenv.sh (for Bourne or Korn shell).
    2. Then run below command  for Siebel Database Configuration Wizard:
    install_path/config/config -mode dbsrvr
    In this path, install_path is the installation path for the installed Siebel Enterprise Server software. for example:
    /siebel/8.1.1.11.0/ses/config/config -mode dbsrvr
    3. Another important point to include here is IRM implementation is different in Siebel 8.1.1.10 and Siebel 8.1.1.11.
    In Siebel 8.1.1.11 you need to launch DB Config wizard to run IRM, refer MOS document 'Innovation Pack 2013: Siebel 8.1.1.11 and 8.2.2.4 Incremental Repository Merge (IRM) - FAQ and Troubleshooting (Doc ID 1623495.2)'.
    BUT for Siebel 8.1.1.10 IRM is not run through DB config wizard.
    Refer- - Siebel CRM 8.1.1.10 and 8.2.2.3 Incremental Repository Merge (IRM) - FAQ and troubleshooting (Doc ID 1549478.2)

  • Enhancement Request - KickStart files for Oracle Validated Configurations

    Just a thought, but I would like to request that the "Oracle Validate Configurations" also include an example kickstart file that contains the necessary RPMs above the default. In addition, in the %post section, all of the OS modifications (e.g. sysctl parameters, user accounts, ulimits, pam.d mods) that need to be completed for an Oracle installation could also be provided.
    I have found some on the web and from suppliers such that I have created a kickstart file that is working for me and my hardware, but my mind would be at ease if there were more "sanctioned" versions out there.
    FYI -- Reading through the documentation, it appears that OEM module for Oracle Linux provides the mechanism to create a kickstart file in the bare metal provisioning features.

    A good start has already been done on OTN

  • Problems Oracle 9iDB and ASO Configuration  for Cybersafe

    Oracle 9iDB installation on Solaris with ASO option
    Objective
    My objective is to configure Oracle 9iDB, Release 9.0.1 ASO on Solaris for external authentication using Cybersafe ActiveTRUST, which is a Kerberos, based authentication product.
    Question
    Getting ORA-12641: Authentication Service failed to initialize when trying to connect to Oracle 9iDB using sqlplus from a Oracle 9i Client machine, when ASO is configured for Cybersafe authentication on both Oracle 9iDB and Oracle 9i client
    Can anyone help me setup Oracle 9iDB and Oracle 9i client for ASO using Cybersafe Authentication?
    Environment
    1. I have a Solaris box as my Oracle 9iDB server
    2. I have an NT Server as my Authentication server and Oracle 9i Client.
    Installation Procedure
    I installed as per the steps given in the doc, Oracle Advanced Security Administrators Guide, Release 9.0.1
    Authentication Server / Oracle Client setup (NT Server)
    I installed on the NT Server the following
    1. CyberSafe ActiveTRUST 4.0 Security Server on the NT Server, which acts as an Authentication server.
    2. CyberSafe ActiveTRUST 4.0 Security Client
    3. Cybersafe Application Security Toolkit (GSS runtime libraries) as needed by Oracle ASO setup procedures.
    4. Oracle 9i Client, custom installations with ASO option.
    Oracle 9iDB Server Setup (Solaris Server)
    I installed on the Solaris Server the following
    1. CyberSafe ActiveTRUST 4.0 Security Client
    2. Cybersafe Application Security Toolkit (GSS runtime libraries)
    3. Oracle 9iDB server, custom installation, with ASO option selected.
    Installation of all the above components is successful.
    Note: Installation of Oracle 9iDB server with ASO option never prompted me to choose a Authentication mechanism like Cybersafe, or Kerberos or Radius etc..,
    Note: Oracle 8.1.7 DB installation on NT actually prompted for Authentication mechanism selection.
    ASO Configuration:
    I configured ASO on the Oracle server and client side as mentioned in chapter 5 of Oracle Advanced Security Administrators Guide, Release 9.0.1
    I created an external user in Oracle, [email protected] as mentioned in http://download-uk.oracle.com/otndoc/oracle9i/901_doc/network.901/a90150/1004747
    I configured the NT server, Oracle 9i client for ASO using Net8 Assistant and I have the sqlnet.ora file.
    ASO Problems:
    Once I have configured both Oracle 9i client and 9iDB server for ASO, I am not able to log in to the database using sqlplus /@cybr.
    It returns with an error ORA-12641, saying Authentication Services Failed to Initialize.
    I could not get much help from questions posted on metalink on ORA-12641.
    It looks like Solaris 9iDB could not recognize cybersafe even though, Cybersafe is listed as one of the installed adapters, when I ran # $ORACLE_HOME/bin/adapters. From this, it looks like Cybersafe adapter is linked to ASO.
    Oracle Server is not able to initialize authentication services and call the authentication server at all.
    Can anyone help me setup Oracle 9iDB and Oracle 9i client for ASO using Cybersafe Authentication?

    The problem has been resolved after providing cn=orcladmin instead of orcladmin for the OID user admin user. Now the overall sso solution is working fine with ADF applications.

  • How to configure distributed transaction in Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC? (ORA-02047)

    I am connecting from Oracle to another database server (MS SQL Server, DB2 the error message is the same) through an ODBC connection using Oracle SQL Developer. (This is how I set up)
    I want to query the schema of a non-Oracle database using the data dictionary mapping of the Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC.
    This works well:
    select * from all_tables@katimssql;
    But this doesn't:
    create table alltables_mssql as
    select * from all_tables@katimssql;
    Output:
    Error report:
    SQL Error: ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-02047: cannot join the distributed transaction in progress
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.HS$_DDTF_SQLTABLES", line 58
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    Does anyone know the solution of this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kata
    Details:
    Oracle Database 11g Express Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0
    Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (SP2) - 10.0.4000.0 (X64)
    ODBC Driver: SQL Server Native Client 11.0 (32 bit)
    initkatimssql.ora:
    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO=katimssql
    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = ON
    HS_TRANSACTION_MODEL = READ_ONLY_AUTOCOMMIT
    I tried these, none of them worked, the error message is the same.
    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = off
    HS_TRANSACTION_MODEL = SINGLE_SITE
    HS_TRANSACTION_MODEL = READ_ONLY_AUTOCOMMIT
    HS_TRANSACTION_MODEL = READ_ONLY

    Hi Kata,
    this won't work as the ALL_TABLES is not a table that exists in your SQl Server  - instead it is a "mimicked" table. This means the gateway will check if you have on your SQL Server a table called all_tables and when there's no table it will start an internal mechanism to check out what sort of tables exist in your SQL Server database. So the gateway is starting internally another transaction to get details from the foreign database and DG4ODBC can't participate in distributed transactions at all. Instead of using all_tables you have to use a real SQL Server table like SQ Server sys.objects or sys.tables.
