Oracle Bam Installation problems with IIS, Error code 1

Hello, When I try to install oracle bam I got like 40 errors when its executing some vbs scripts, I think that these scripts create the virtual directories and so on but I am not sure.
The error that I see in the event log in spanis is this:
I need to say that I am an administrator on this machinem so I dont know that the problem is.

Yes, I do have a P4.
I have looked through previous postings and have found the following suggestions, both of which I have tried:
1. Copy the files from CD to disk, rename symcjit.dll and then run install.
2. Oracle seem to suggest that the disk directories must be called Disk1 etc.
I have also tried removing the Java SDK I had installed, stopping Apache and stopping MySQL.
Nothing has worked.
Any more ideas (please....)?

Strange, but yesterday I nter in Oracle9i install, open
gnome-terminal window as oracle user and simply type
/tmp/Disk1/runInstaler
the DISPLAY enviroment variable was set,
using RedHat 7.2 , kernel 2.4.16-0.9, glibc-2.2.4-19
Segmentation violation 11 may mean RAM problem, sometimes
incorrect program pointer.So I think it must work (runIstaler)

Nachdem sich meine Creative Cloud Desktop App nicht updaten ließ, wollte ich sie nach der Deinstallation wieder installieren.
Habe nach Angaben des Supports die opm.db Datei gelöscht.
mit dem Adobe Creative Cleaner Tool, die Installation der Creative Cloud Desktop Anwendung gelöscht, die anderen Programme jedoch belassen. Schließlich arbeite ich damit.

Problems with Datasocker Error Codes

I am using Datasocket as a means of communicating test status's between 4 systems on a network. The basics are working fine - each system publishes its status onto the LAN while subscribing to the status's of the other 3. So far so good. However I am now trying to build in some robustness into the app to ensure that each system works in a predetermined manner when things go wrong ie if one of the systems is switched off or if the LAN goes down, etc. I've tried looking at the Datasocket error clusters but am not sure what's going on - for example m/c 1 is doing DS reads and m/c 2 is doing writes and the error cluster on the reading app is being looked at:
If the datasocket Server is not running I get error 63
If the
DSS is started but no DS write app is running I get error 42
If the DS write app is now started - no error (this would be the normal scenario and all would be well)
If the DS write app is now stopped no error is flagged (!!??)
If the DSS is now stopped still get no error (!!!??)
But if I close the DSS and leave the DS write app running I get an error 63.
If I unplug the LAN cable from the writing m/c I get errors 0, 54 and 56 on the reading app (can't see any reason why different codes appear).
I don't seem to be getting consistent results. Any suggestions as to how best to handle datasocket errors would be appreciated.

I too have complained about Datasocket error codes, messages, lack of ds browser, etc. NI said that they will hopefully have some inproved ds information in 6.1

Problems with FBRA, Error Code F5538

When I was trying to reset a advance payment to vendor with FBRA tx (which was created with tx F-47, doc type AB),
I got the error message F5538 Clearing cannot be reversed (contract number), I can't change the content of this camp with txn FB02.
What should i do?

If you want to cancel an invoice that is already paid, i assume the cheque/payment is not received by the Vendor and that also need to be canceled. Following the below steps,
i) Cancel payment and Void the cheque (transaction FCH8)
This would bring the invoice back to Open status from Cleared status
Since payment belongs to September (closed month), use the reversal reason code '01' (reversal in current period) and give today's posting date.
ii) You can also reverse down payment requests manually at any time, without posting a down payment. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. From the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable menu, choose Document -- Reverse.
2. Enter the document number of the down payment request, the company code, and the fiscal year.
3. On the same screen, enter the posting date and posting period of the reversing document.
4. To post the reversing document, select Document -- Post.
The system displays a message that the line items have been reversed and records the clearing data in the line items.

I'm facing the same error message while install Siebel 8.0 on OEL. But before I had this ksh problem, it complains about disc space first, and I actually has plenty of disk space under the directory (it needs only 0.7 G and I have 17G free). Anybody has encountered such problem before?

IPad1 stuck in recovery mode with and ITunes cannot restore with an error code of 11?

I tried to update to IOS 4.3.4 today but now my iPad1 stuck in recovery mode with and ITunes cannot restore with an error code of 11?
(With the old discussion groups it was easy to see where other people had similar problems, these new groups seems clunky in comparison)

OK, fixed it by using SHIFT+RESTORE to load the iPad1,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw file in directly from the
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPad Software Updates
folder.
No idea why the upgrade to 4.3.3 failed in the first place and no idea why iTunes was not clever enough to just do it by itself when it detected that there was a problem in the first place.

If you are using Premiere Elements 13, have you updated it to 13.1 yet? If not, please do so using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates.
What type of user account are you using....local administrator or domain type?

Oracle BAM Installation

Hi All,
I want to install Oracle BAM without Oracle SOA suite. Planning to use ODI to feed BAM.
Is it possible to install BAM without SOA Suite?
Docs for ODI and BAM integration?

1. Sofware wise, NO, you do NOT have separate just Oracle BAM Installer or product. Oracle BAM is part of SOA/BPM Suite as far as I know. So first you had to Buy entire SOA Suite that includes Oracle BAM. Then run RCU and create schemas for orabam and mds.
2. While creating Domain using config wizard, you can select just Oracle BAM components. Remember I can have SOA Domain or BPM Domain without BAM. So vice versa should be possible. you can have just domain with only Oracle BAM Configured.
But software side, you had to buy entire SOA Suite. Check with Oracle Product team if they can sell only Oracle BAM which I am confident may not be available.
All above information if for latest suite of Oracle Products like version 11.x (SOA Suite 11.5 to SOA Suite 11.7). On Downloads link I did see separate Oracle BAM Installer BUT older version 10.3.5. So not sure if you can use old version and how old that one is. We all use Oracle BAM 11.x version that gets when we buy SOA/BPM Suite 11.x.

Software Installation Problems with Media Source and Nomad Explo

Hello Creative Users,
recently I had to reinstall my operating system on the PC. I have an IBM Thinkpad R30 with a Sitecom USB2.0 pccard. I am running WinXP Pro SP2 with all latest updates.
I have a Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra with Firmware .20.08 and an update harddri've of 80GB.
As long as I was running the software on my previous installation everything worked fine.
I installed the driver .26.02. This recognized the Jukebox. Musicmatch is able to communicate to the Jukebox and recognizes all files on it.
When I installed Nomad Explorer I got an error ctregserv failed because ctin...dll is not found.
When I tried to install Media Source from the original disk it showed an error after 30% Media Source not found. Install Media Source before continuing.
This is what I received now with all verisons of Media Source and Noamd Explorer incl. .30.0.
Can someone help me as synchronizing with Musicmatch is a pain.

Hi everyone,
as I saw many questions regarding installation problems with Mediasource or Nomad Explorer
in this forum I will answer my own question right here. I was pointed to the answer by a friend with a similar problem on some other software.
When trying to install the Creative software under WinXP SP2 I happens that the registration does not work. the reason are missing write attributes to the keys for
Creative software. To correct that go to: Start, Run and enter regedit. Hit ok and you are in the registration editor.
Find the Creative location unde HKEYS_SOFTWARE. Click right mouse button and choose
properties.
Check full access for your user as well the system user. click on advanced and mark both all the users you want to install from. Check the lower box below the user window sayin something about roghts being propagetd to lower folders etc. Cklick conform and ok, click confirm on previous screen and close regedit.
Now you should be ok and able to install.

If you are running Windows and it stops on the first stage of a sync then my suggestion is to uninstall AppleDeviceSupport version 2.0.1 and re-install 1.5.2.

Those instructions are to fix a different problem, but it fixes the problem with syncing devices stopping on the first stage (backing up the device) too. The AppleDeviceSupport 2.0.1 comes with Quicktime 7.7 and, I believe, the latest Safari version.
I'm running XP, so used the Everything search program (http://www.voidtools.com/download.php) to find the directories with the AppleDeviceSupport installers (they have the extension .msi and the version in the directory name) and right-mouse-buttoned them to do the uninstall and install. Note you need a reboot afterwards. (Actually I just sorted out the service in the Service Manager, but that's a longer explaination and a reboot works fine).
