Oracle by Example content-Damaged zip file?

I've downloaded Oracle by Example content : download.zip
file (32,472 KB).
The zip file seems to damaged. I've managed to repair it with winrar and extracted it with winzip but got the following message:
Extracting blast.zip
bad CRC 00000000 (should be 2fe2b7c5)
Warning: the size of the extracted file (0) does not match the uncompressed size (2837) recorded in the zip file.
which means that I've lost the file blast.zip included in the archive.
Could you please repair the archive and post it back?!

Getting a StackOverflowError trying to download big content sync zip file

We've noticed this happens when trying to download a big Content Sync zip file (typically of around 280MB, although recently we saw the same issue with a 250MB file, so we're not sure of the root cause of this).
The only prerequisite to reproduce this issue is to configure your content sync to have > 250MB of content (in the form of images, html, js, etc). The steps to reproduce are the following:
Navigate to the content sync console URL: /libs/cq/contentsync/content/console.html
Click on the 'Clear Cache' button.
Click on the 'Update Cache' button. No problems up to here, content sync cache (under /var/contentsync) is populated with expected assets and files.
Click on the 'Download Full' button. Almost immediately, the app crashes with the following stack trace:

We've extended the content sync framework by writing 2 ContentUpdateHandler implementations. Given that the content update process finishes correctly, we dont' think this is the root cause of the problem.

How to extract the contents of ZIP file stored in oracle database column ?

The file is in ZIP format and it is stored in BLOB databse column . The contents of file is in binary format .
How to extract those contents from file and thus creating the same ZIP file as output in ODI ?

Perhaps you can something like what is described in the support note "How To Load A PDF File Or Other Binary Files To a BLOB Column From ODI (Doc ID 1412753.1)"

Damaged zip file: "as_windows_x86_bi_tools_101202.zip"

The "as_windows_x86_bi_tools_101202.zip" is damaged, for the file "stage\patches\oracle.rsf.rdbms.rsf\10.1.0.4.2\1\datafiles\lib.1.1.jar" the CRC check failed by unzip.
(Part of Application Server 10g release 2 for Windows)
So please, correct the zip-file.

Unzipping of BI Tools for Windows after a couple of repeated downloads, yields a bad CRC on accessbridge-1_0_4.zip and then a few 100 files with "bad offset". http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ids/index.html
The edlivery one is a tad bit larger file.

Unzipping and starting the installer from the B24501-1 archive goes without trouble.

Damaged Zip Files From Apple Site!

I downloaded the iPodtouch guided tour video from the apple site today. When I tried to unzip it with the default Archive Utility it says "Unable to unarchive." I then tried to unzip with Stuffit Expander and it said "An error occured attempting to expand the file . . . The archive may be damaged." The problem is, this happened a few weeks ago with a totally different file from the apple site. I also followed the steps from this forum with no luck:

In addition to the good advise given to you be a brody, I would like to add that you should boot from the install media and repair your system drive. It sounds like the lack of free space has caused file corruption. If you don't repair the system disk, the wild and wonderful strangeness will only continue.

Damaged Zip File...

I am sure this question does not belong here, but I am full of hope someone will be able to help... I backed up an external firewire wire drive to another one, on that drive was about 90GB of music. I zipped it using stuffit and ran the verification process afterwards... all seemed to go well and also the indication was that the file was ok... After installing Leopard, I went back to my backup and tried to unzip it to a different drive and I get an error... I have searched for a zip repair program for OSX and cannot find one. I transferred the file to my windows machine and I am using a program called Zip Repair Pro... It seems to be working just fine, however at this rate it may get it done by 2009... Does anyone know of a program that can repair a large zip file in osx? Also for future reference is there a size limit on backups I should be aware of? Thanks for all and any help....

Be careful so that your back isn't against some brick wall, such as is there enough HD room to unzip the file, and it doesn't come against some other restrictions. Like a FireWire box that chokes on lets say 240GB. (90 GB file + an expected 150GB expanded file. Numbers here are just an example, your mileage may vary)
Problem is I have no clue if your FW box is compliant above 200, 250, 300 or even 350GB. Maybe even the manufacturer doesn't know, but they should.
Unfortunately limits are likely your issue more than a corrupt file. Another likely possibility, Leopard is waiting for Stuffit to be updated. Changing of the Mac OS Guards can do this sort of thing

DCDAug07.exe Damaged ZIP File

I'm running LabView Evaluation 8.5, and my Instrument I/O Assistant was not working (the error message said that I have to use the Driver CD to install the Assistant).
I found the Driver CD online (NI Device Drivers 20007.08) and downloaded it. But when I extract the EXE, I get the error message:
"ZIP damaged: file C:\National Instru.... Possible Cause: file trasfer error."
(See the attached image for the error dialog)
What could be cause of this and how do I install the Instrument I/O Assistant?

Hi Alex,
After you installed the evaluation version of LabVIEW 8.5 did you install the DAQmx 8.7 driver? If not, you need to download it and install it. I'm not sure why you are getting the download error, but in any case, that device driver CD has more then what you need. Go to this link, download DAQmx 8.7.1 and install it. This will automatically install NI-VISA and 488.2 as well as NI-Serial. There are the drivers you will need to Instrument I/O. Thanks.

Problem with Oracle 9i disk1 and 2 zip files

I am able to download disks 1, 2, 3 but only disk 3 unzips without any problems. I've tried unzipping it with winzip and jar. I need the database so I can study for the oracle certs. I am downloading with a cable modem on a windows 2000 box. Any help would be appreciated. Is there a way to order a cd or something?

Mathew I had the same problem. I've installed successfully when i unzipped Disk 2 and Disk 3 files again. You should unzip disk 2 and 3 files repeatedly because they weren't saved on your hard disk. you thought you saved them on your disk but you should check again on your disk. If not found, you should try to unzip again. Hope this helps.

Reading ZIP files

Is it possible to read content of ZIP files.
Iam using ORACLE forms 6i.
In our company, we are creating a zip file with two folder src and lib, where SRC contains FMB files abd LIB contains PLLfiles.Now i want to know whether instead of us seeing the contents, is it possible to check whether fmx and plx are present in correspoding folder using some api methods.
If u can find any please tell me .. it will be of great use

I dont about the api's, but one way cud be unzipping the files in temp folder thru winzip command line and then checking the files existence.

Creating zipped file which contain multiple files

hi all,
i have a problem which i would like some advice about:
i need to recieve from a FTP server multiple files and then zip them all in one big zip file.
now i checked the forums and all i found is using PayloadZipBean which in all the examples create a zip file with one .txt in it.
is it possible to create multiple files in the zip using this module?
another problem if the one big zip file is what if each of the files inside the zip file has it's own mapping...
i think a BPM is a must here and a parallel one also with a correlation...
i would like if it's possible to do something different as the correlation between the files is a bit complicated?

First,
I would like to understand your requirement. Is it to only download and zip the files in to one file? XI is not the solution. A OS level script or some C program is what I would use for that which calls some FTP APIs.
If you requirement is to get different files with different format but want to send them to one desintation which accepts files in only one format, I would not consider zipping them into one file and again unzipping then and executing a mapping XI. Instead, I would have different file adapter for each type of the file and use as many sender agreements with diffrent mappings.

Expanding ZIP files in External Data Window

How could I expand the contents of ZIP files in the external data windows?
I've developped a GPI extension to unzip the file and extract data from compressed files. But my client wants to see the content of the file before uncompress.

I think also that the best solution to expand a ZIP files in the "External Data" portal of Diadem, is to use a data plugin.
But a data plugin is used to filter files with their extensions in "external data" and to import data in the "Data portal : internal data"
But our problem is to expand the ZIP files in the "external data" portal as the joint document presents.
We have not found the solution to do this.

I have discovered! I needed software to Unzip and was directed to Stuffit from the App Store. Suddenly it is simple.
Download Zip File to Desktop.
rt> Zip >Open with..... >Stuffit Progress Bar: 'Expanding' follows. Then a blue folder (manilla) returns to Desktop.
Open iTunes >File >Import to Library From drop down select the now expanded contents of Zip file, then >OPEN
iTunes takes over and imports - Job's Done!!

For the drivers for oracle 8.1.6 the zip file (816classes12b.zip) contains file classes111.zip and classes102.zip. but no classes12.zip as the readme file (http://technet.oracle.com/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/files/815readme.txt) says.
What files do I need to get to Oracle 8.1.6 from jdk1.2? Where can I get them.

ZIP File has damaged contents - Multiple file download

Hi,
I am using ZIP API in Web Dynpro JAVA for multiple file download scenario.
Issue:--->
Some files are not opening correctly after unzipping the ZIP file.
Example-1: some PDF files gives out message that " "
Example-2: Also, a JPG file shows only upper half of the image.
So in all, the content of generated ZIP file are damaged.
Any idea why this is happening?
