Oracle Calendar Sync for PocketPC and ActiveSync 4.0 Support
I'm trying to sync Oracle Calendar and Windows Mobile 5 for a user. PocketPC 2003 Second Edition worked fine. ActiveSync 4.0 is not offering me the ability to sync with Oracle Calendar. Any ideas?

First disable Oracle Conduit in ActiveSync
1) transfer the cab to the PDA and install it by double clicking on the executable
2) make sure that your PDA can make internet contact via the cradle by setting
in ActiveSync on the PC under Tools; Options; Pass trough connection: The Internet.
3)Next open the Synthesis client on the PDA and tap on Extra; Settings. Change both items to The Internet and tap on OK
4)Next open Extras; Settings
- Server Settings: <your host>:<Your infra port>/ocst-bin/ocas.fcgi
-Your username and password
4b)Tap on Organizer:
-Contacts: Server Path: ./contacts
-Events: Server Path: ./Calendar/Events
-Tasks: Server path: ./Calendar/Tasks
tap on ok and try to Sync via SyncML Start

Oracle Calendar Sync for Palm - Not Intel Mac compatible?
I've tried installing the Oracle Calendar Sync for Palm on my Intel-based iMac and the installer crashes just after authenticating. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
Usually applications will install and then fail later if there is a compatibility problem with the Intel processors. This is the first application I've seen that simply won't install. Any ideas?I am getting these errors after I try to install Oracle Calendar Sync installer on a MacPro duo Core system:

Calendar Sync for Palm and encryption
We are converting our Calendar Server to always use encryption. We're not finding any way to specify the encryption in the Calendar Sync conduit. Did we miss it somewhere? If not, how do we force the Calendar Sync for Palm to use encryption?
There's a bug on the conduits as to were to find needed DLLs. It depends on setting itself in the path via environment variables.
The thing is that the conduits are not compatible with other Oracle client installations, which also add themselves to the path. An example is Oracle's Instant Client.
Check your system's path to see if you have any other Oracle client directories before CalSync's directory.
I had a TAR created for this and supposedly they will be 'patching' it for next version... -
Calendar Sync with PocketPC compatible with Windows 7 (WMDC)?
Is Calendar Sync with PocketPC compatible with Windows 7 (WMDC)?
More details welcome on this.
Oracle has at least 3 different Calendar Server Products and might be the same for a 'Calendar Sync'. Please provide the Calendar Server Version you would like
to use.
On the other hand there exists a Outlook Connector for at least 2 Calendar Server Version's ( CS6.3 and CS7 aka CalDAV). The Outlook Connector has the limitation that it
won't work with Outlook 2010 yet (this feature is planed for future release of Outlook Connector). -
Calendar Sync for Palm won't install Conduit
Hi, I'm trying to install Calendar Sync for Palm 10.1 on Windows 2K. Installation proceeds with no errors, but the conduit does not appear in the Hotsynch conduit list. It does remove the default conduits for Calendar, Date Book and To-Do. I've tried uninstalling Palm Desktop and Calendar synch, and reinstalling them, no luck. HotSynch works fine with the conduits that are left, and works with the default conduits if I don't install the Oracle Calendar Synch. I can't find any mention of this problems on the forum, does anyone have an idea of what could cause it?
Thanks. There's a bug on the conduits as to were to find needed DLLs. It depends on setting itself in the path via environment variables.

Hi,
Has anyone gotten these messages after installing Oracle Calendar Sync:
Launchadactyl.exe - Ordinal Not Found
The ordinal 96 could not be located in the dynamic link library CONDMGR.dll
After hitting OK another message appears stating:
Error:
Could not find Library: iexpalmcnd.dll
These messages appear when I click on settings of the Oracle Calendar sync program and does not allow me to choose what conduit needs to be syncronized.
Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)Just to be clear, you're getting these errors on the PC right?
Not familar enough with the program to offer any insight on it. I have to ask

Bandwith usage while calendar sync Outlook 2010 and MOSS 2007
Hi,
we have some remote users which are only connected through a thin shared DSL line. We plan to use calendar sync for Outlook 2010 while the server side is MOSS 2007.
As far as I know the SPS protocol is used.
Can we expect a high network usage (traffic) when using calendar sync with Outlook 2010 and MOSS 2007?
Thanks
SvenIt is possible to have more RPS when you using Outlook instead of WEB browser

Windows Vista vs Calendar Sync for Pocket PC
Is there a way to get Calendar Sync for Pocket PC to work under Windows Vista? It seem that Active Sync no longer exists in Vista, and Calendar Sync won't install without it.
Apparently it is still not available. If it is, they're hiding it well... It has been a year since the last update on this thread - does anybody have any better information on Vista support?

When playing my ipod on an ipod dock the vocals are very faint. It is fine when doing through the headphones. I am trying to sync for updates and getting the message "An unknown error occured (-1)" - help
