Oracle Clinical Reports - Ouput not generated

Hi,
When i try to run reports within Oracle Clinical it runs as "Success" as per Batch Jobs window.
I have run it using destype=FILE and desname=<reports_output_path>
The "View Log" also opens the log, but when trying to "View Output" it gives the following message in the explorer window:
File <reports_output_path>\o489.pdf does not exist
When i view the Report details in Report Queue Manager it shows the following error:
Terminated with Error :
Caught exception: exception oracle.reports.RWException { oracle.reports.RWError[] errorChain={struct oracle.reports.RWError { int errorCode=56093, java.lang.String errorString="Cached output for job 23 is no longer valid", java.lang.String moduleName="REP" }} }
The Report is being generated sometimes as a PDF file in the "Cache" directory of reports server, but the output directory doesnt contain any pdf file.
Any ideas folks?

Thank you for the response.
1. This happens with all output types...I guess PDF Plugin is installed as it is generating a PDF in the Reports Cache Directory that is D:\oracle\9iDS\reports\cache
2. RXCPROD has been NOT been given Local Administrator rights. But it is a member of "Power users" group.
Does running a report in any way depend on the RXCPROD account...i thought it was just for running PSUB?
Any further ideas?

for this answer I expect that EWA has worked in the past times because I had a similiar issue at a customer solman. The problem was a syntax error in a file updated via ags_update.

Hi,
Yes, this is fixed.
The root cause was a security patch from Microsoft.
The solution:
- Remove Microsoft Patch KB974455.
or
- uncheck the ‘Use HTTP 1.1’ flag under Internet Options > Advanced tab.

OS Solaris 8. Sun Sparc 20 - 256 MB 9.1 GB. I am using csh for this install as instructed for the user OPAPPS.
I have installed Oracle 8.1.6 Rel 2 on the SUN Sparc. Everything is fine and a customised DB has been created. Now I
have to install an Oracle application on the same server. I have a working knowledge of Unix but I don't know scripting.
I logged in as OPAPPS as required. (.chsrc). I have set the path with all possible directories and made it a member of
group DBA as requested.
I put the CD in the CDROM and then cd /cdrom

Would anybody know why I get install.sh NOT found when it is there?. This executabel is on the CD. I am not sure why it gives
a java runtime error message when it is OK. Remember, I have already installed Oracle 8i using the same environment with the existing java runtime .

I need to know whether both the Database server and application server for Oracle Clinical can be installed on same server(windows 2000 server).
Both of them are installed on windows platform.
It seems that u have tried the single node installation.
So,please give all the possible details regarding the single node installation for oracle clinical no matter what platform it is.

Oracle Apps - Reports 6i not working

I have a Oracle Apps - 6i Report works fine with one instance and the same report does not fetch any records in the other instance..
Even its not printing the messages in the before report trigger, when i query from the backed it fetches records. This is really strange..

Report will not generate PDF only the XML output. View XML icon disabled

I created a PDF format report.
When the report completes, View Output shows XML code not the PDF output.
View XML button is disabled from Diagnostic on view request screen.
Any thoughts. All settings are the same as when other XML to PDF reports are created. Not sure why this one is not working.

I'm afraid this is not an installation issue, it rather sounds and application server one, at the operative level.

second I am not able to generate raw netflow.
how can i removed any device from data sources ifthis is nolonger present there. for better understanding i am also ataching the snapshot.

Yes I have configured the command âaaa accounting exec default start-stop group tacacs+â
As I have mentioned all the other reports are working. Which user and when he has logged in and what commands he has used. Only the TACAS+ Accounting and logned user is not working.

EWA alert report is not generating in SMP through SDCCN !!

I am generating EWA in SDCCN, it is generating fine through RFC Connections successful. But I am not getting EWA report in SMP. All steps performed successfully but no EWA report in SMP inbox ( service messages ).

Reports Builder 11g doesn't work on 64-bit OS-system (linux also). You can only use an VM-maschine with 32-bit OS or wait until oracle fineshed the Builder for 64-bit.

EWA Alert configuration done but report is not generated

I have setup the EWA congiguration for a Solman 7.0 , i executed rtcctool and implemented addons now everything is seen in green , also activated SDCCN and checked for all RFC ...everything is working fine .i saw two tasks service preparation check and maintenance check and executed them properly i also created a solution in DSWP and activated EWA for that solution . I followed the EWA tutor available at service marketplace properly but still when i create a early wath alert in opertaions in DSWP in solman , i see this waiting symbol and dont get any report in return , even after refreshing session am not gettin it here in DSWP. Please help me out and suggest some solution.

David ......i refreshed the service definitions and i ran service preperation check and maintenace package , both were ok after that i went to DSWP in operations(inside early watch alert Tab) and i created a new service named "SAP early watch Alert " i selected my solman system while creating this service but service is in Waiting process in DSWP in operations , sign is not of blue bottle or Red flag but the wait Sign that we usually get and when i click on it it says "The session is waiting for data from a remote system. Data transfer can take up to one day." it also gives steps to start it manually by going to SDCCN and creating task "Refresh Session" i also followed that process using "None" Rfc but still in DSWP in opertaion its in Wait and still same message inside it "The session is waiting for data from a remote system. Data transfer can take up to one day."
Please help me out in resolving it.

Parameter issue - report not generating any pdf files

Hi All,
I'm trying to run a report which generates pdf files. Is there any limitation on the parameter string size? For one of the parameter values - '11F EA Accept nonhonor ASnSOMnSON_20091201090150846' the report is not generating any pdf files. I assumed the reason is of the keyword 'AS' in it and created another parameter value - '11F EA Accept nonhonor AnS-SOM-SON_20091202074331997', but it is also not generating any pdf files. I get this message from Adobe Reader " There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be opened because it has no pages. " The report is working normally when i hardcode the same parameter values into the logic. Any suggestions on this?

That report is working normally for all the parameter values, except this one. It is not working only if i pass the value - ''11F EA Accept nonhonor ASnSOMnSON_20091201090150846' as a parameter. It is generating the pdf files when i hardcode the same value into sql query logic in the data template, instead of passing it as a parameter. Please advise.

NVision Report not generated with email option in the Run Report page

Hi ,
I want to send the nvision reports through email to the users, I tried it by setting the email option in the drop down of the "Type" after giving "Run Report" and then specifying the email ids. The issue is i am getting emails , but the report is not generated which otherwise generates, and hence no attachement is seen on the email .
Anybody faced this issue ?? Please help

Then i try to find out which table is affected by the below queary :

Hi,
Not all, just the forms which adpatch failed to generate. You need to select AP product, then select specific forms. When it prompts you to generate pll files in addition to forms, enter Yes.
You can find more details about adadmin and generating forms files in "Oracle Applications Maintenance Utilities" and "Oracle Applications Maintenance Procedures" guides.

Customized Seeded report to XMLP report but its not generating output file?

I want to customize "Dunning Letter Print from Dunning Letter Generate" Report, which is called from "Dunning Letter Generate" Report
Steps i followed to Customize reports are.
1. Changed output format to xml for "Dunning Letter Print from Dunning Letter Generate" Report.
2. Ran report to generate xml data and using xml data created RTF file
3. Registered data definition and template with code and short name same which is ARDLP_NON_SRS
Now while i am running report its completing normal, but its not generating output file giving Error like –
"Unable to find Published Output for this request"
“No Output File Exist for Request No - xxxxx”
No Idea why its not picking template, Can anyone help me in this?
