Oracle.DataAccess does not show up in VS 2008 list of data providers

I have an application which uses VB .Net 3.5 on Win 7 64bit machine with Oracle11gR2 64bit client in the machine.
The problem I am facing is that Oracle.DataAccess does not come up under the Data provider drop downs in VS 2008.
I have checked that the dll is actually present in C:\oracle\11gR2client64bit\odp.net\bin\2.x and I can also see the installed entry for the Dll in C:\Windows\assembly with the correct version.
Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated, I have been stuck on this for 8 days now.

If you installed 32-bit Database Client, try the 32-bit ODBC admin tool: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
Note that 10.2.0.5 is the earliest "10g" version supported on Win 7.

Shared printer from a pc does not show up on my printer list.

I have a macbook air and the shared printer from a pc does not show up on my printer list. I know it's available on the network as I have a another pc that has access to it. The Mac did find it at one time but it has since disappeared. Appreciate help.

Can you see the CD ripped songs in iTunes itself? Can you then right-click and select "Show in Windows Explorer"?

Apple TV won't connect to iTunes and does not show up in my devices list in iTunes.

My older model Apple TV won't connect to iTunes and does not show up in my devices list in iTunes. I have two Apple TVs in my house and I can't imagine that this is part of the problem but I mention it just in case. My other Apple TV is brand new and it connects to iTunes just fine. I've tried most of the "fixes" and one says to Force Sync but I can't since Apple TV isn't in my device list. Another "Fix" said to Navigate the Apple TV to Settings --> Downloads --> Check for Downloads, but when I tried that there was no option for "Downloads" under the Settings Heading. I'm at a loss. Please help. Could this be an issue with too many authorized devices? We have three iPads, two iPhones, laptop, desktop, two Apple TVs, and an iPod and most of them are syncing the same music playlists and whatnot... have I run out of rope?

hi, just posting to everyone in general..its not you, or your apple tv, it is itunes.
ok, ive had the exact same issues for weeks now, as with everyone i had done the lastest upgrade and no longer could see/sync my gen 1 appleTV.........so, i removed the upgrade and went back to the prev version, even though it was showing in my prefs under appleTV, it still wouldnt show in the side panel under devices....i gave up.
This week i was determined to get it to work! So i started from scratch, totally removed itunes and started back with version 9 and upgrade each version from there, i had no luck, ic clicked find appleTvs but it wouldnt....however i just d/l version 9.2.0.61 and BINGO!. No sooner has it opened and up popped the side panel devices list, showing my appleTV..all ready to be synced etc. I immediately panicked of course haha..and set it all up and its working perfectly.
...Only catch now is that this older version will not be compatiable with my iphone, which i do keep music on...seems we cant win. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr this will be the same for all the latest apple products.
Apple needs to allow more than one version of itunes per pc OR perhaps they could get their act together and include all of the millions of APPLETV GEN1 owners in there latest upgrading..after all, THEY made the product and THEY do sell the movies/tv shows, perhaps they could stop making all the upgrade all about the music only!......on which i might add why not incluse movies/tv shows in icloud! yet another upgrade that should be included in the APPLETV GERNERATION 1!..yes we do still exist!
at the very least, im happy ive managed to get all my movies etc onto the apple tv, where ill keep them and from now on d/l directly onto my apple tv. I usually d/l to my laptop and then send them to the appletv but while trying to get all this sorted i did a test, i d/l a movie using my appletv hoping it would somehow let itunes "find" it and getting it to show up in my device list, but it didnt work, however it did sync/send the movie to itunes.. so at least i could save a back up copy.
good luck trying, as i said this has been weeks and this is the only solution ive found so far....and going through these forums its obviouse its itunes thats the issue, NOT Our apple tvs.

Firefox does not show filesystem or FTP file list

When I type "/" or "file:///" in the address bar it does not show anything. It should list my the folders in my root drive but it shows nothing. Strangely this is the same for any FTP file server I go to. It shows nothing but claims to be loaded. I think something in Firefox is missing.

I cleared the cookies and that might have done it. Comment if you have or had this problem.

To sync via wifi you first have to connect to computer via USB and check the box in the Summary pane for the iPod in iTunes that sync via wifi.
Note you can only sync with one computer. If you change syncing computers you have to restore the iPod on the second computer.

Enterprise subordinate CA does not show up in certificate authorities list

yes, it is possible. However, you will need to make some modifications on root CA:
certutil -setreg ca\dsconfig "AD Configuration naming context"
certutil -setreg ca\dsconfigdn "AD Configuration naming context"
certutil -setreg ca\dsdomaindn "AD Forest root domain DN"
AD configuration naming context is (usually) CN=Configuration, DC=rootdomainname, DC=domainsuffix.
To extend Root CA CRL validity, in the Certification Authority MMC, select properties of Revoked Certificates folder and specify validity period (something about 6-12 months). Make sure that Delta CRLs are NOT enabled. Save settings and restart certificate
services.
Then you should republish all CRLs and publish CRL to Active Directory:
certutil -dspublish -f path\RootCAcrl.crl

IPhone4 will not sync and does not show up in a device list.

My son's phone was originally listed under my Apple ID.
He has since created a new one and says he removed it.
He is now trying to go under mine again but Itunes does not recognize his phone is plugged in.
I tried checking his other id and it doesn't show any devices registered.
I read on here that it should show any device and when it was registered so you couldn't do the switch within 90 days.
I also checked mine and it doesn't show registered on there either.
I just want to sync it with my apple ID.
We have tried all the troubleshooting steps on here with the phone as well as uninstalling and reinstalling itunes on the Mac.... and NOTHING.
Any suggestions????

SQL Server Usage Summary page, the count of user/device: does not show for SQL Server 2008

Does MAP tool capture User Summary (count of users, their details) for SQL Server 2008?
At my end, its working for SQL Server 2012 but not showing User Summary for SQL Server 2008..
Does the User Summary only works for SQL Server 2008 Enterprise edition as one of the thread points out?

Application does not show up in "install applications list"

I am having an odd problem with my SCCM 2012 OSD tasks. It appears that not all applications are showing up in the "install applications" task. For instance, I have separate applications for 32-bit and 64-bit Java. The 64-bit application shows
up in the list of applications you can choose to install, but the 32-bit version doesn't. I have tried both with and both without the "allow this application to be installed from the install application task sequence action without being deployed"
box selected. (It also looks like that box does nothing, I have it unchecked for Acrobat Pro and it still shows up in the list).
Both deployments are working outside of the OSD stuff, but I'd like to be able to have them install as part of an OS deployment. Any ideas?

Had the same, (i am on 2012 R2 by the way)
packages could be selected, Applications couldn't from a TS.
Create an application with only one deployment type of type " msi" and you'll see that this one will show up!
Everything said here (set the flag, install weather or not...) is true
my issue was: If theapplication is of type "script" it will not show in the application list. unless ALL of your deployment types (user and/or device types) in your application, have these things set!
(i sctually needed "install for system if resource is device, otherwise install for user" )
AND in my application i have to unset the "Allow this application to be installed ..." flag for them to show up in the TS
AND run the scripts as 32bit on 64bit computers
AGAIN: only seeing this behaviour in SCRIPT application types, not MSI typed once...
I see no mention of this anywhere in any documenttaion out there.....

EM does not show standby database in database list

Hi All,
I am little bit surprised, that i am not able to get the status of standby database or you can say that standby database is not discovered in EM whereas primary database is discovered in the EM grid control
Grid control is Oracle 10g 10.2.0.5.0
Db version :- 11.1.0
I am getting the status of both the database from DGMGRL CLI

Ok i done the troubleshooting from my own.
What i did is uninstall agent on the second machine whose db is not discovered and reinstall the agent back.
Now the problem is sorted out.
But now the problem again arises. I am able to get the status of standby database on OEM grid control. But when i try to perform change of data protection mode, i am getting error that Database standby is not discovered. This problem arise from em grid control only.
Please advice over the same.

Application manager does not show Acrobat Pro in the list of apps

So I cannot use the application, because of a defect in the list of applications.
The serial number applies to Acrobat Pro, but it doesnt show up in the list of aplications in the application manager.

The xpinstall.enabled pref default to true when absent and doesn't have any real effect in preventing to obtain and install extensions unless locked to false.

Essbase Service does not show up in the Services List

Hi,
I started essbase server and also the console. I was wanting to automate the login process but could not find the Essbase SERVICE in the Windows Services List.
What might be the issue here..?

The part that bothers me: "... and also the console".
You shouldn't have the service AND the console running at the same time (unless they are on different ports).
I don't believe the intended result is for the service to shut down, but that may have happened.
As for automating the login process:
As a service there is no console login needed, so once the console is launched and configured (on first startup), you only need to configure the service to be automatic.
For console logins, putting the system password on the command line does the trick. Create a shortcut to essbase.exe, and just add the password as a parameter - done.

KM-Uploaded Package does not shows up in pending imports list

Hi All,
I have uploaded the package for KM transport and can see in server SYS\global\config\cm\expimp location.
But the import is not listed in pending imports to further with the KM transport.
SOme one please help quickly. I need to send transport in production ASAP.

Hi,
after you uploaded your KMC transport package it should appear in the pending imports list. If it's not there, make sure that you didn't change the file extension from KMC to ZIP. When you used IE to download the exported archive, changes are that IE changed the file extension to ZIP. Rename it to .kmc and upload it again.
