Oracle Ebiz 12.1.3 compatibility

Hi,
I am using Oracle Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 and i am connecting to Oracle Ebiz (12.1.3) to access Business event using Oracle Apps Adapter using 'apps' credentials'. But i am not able to view any business events. do i ahve to apply any patch for this or is it an privilege issue?

I have even tried with jdev 11.1.1.6 but still not able to view the business events. Then the error was Oracle Ebiz suite version not found
Had u applied any patch to jdev? Or did u assign any privilege on the ebiz side.

Are you using loadbalancing or SSL ? Did this ever work before ? If so, what has changed ? How are you determining you are on the second apps node ? What are the client and browser versions ?

Oracle Database10g Express Edition's compatibility with Forms/Reports 10g

hi,
I have a problem while connecting from Oracle Forms/Reports 10g to Oracle Database10g Express Edition.I have configured through the net configuration assistant and it shows the test is also successful. But while connecting from Oracle Forms/Reports 10g, an error is being displayed saying that the TNS could not resolve service name(ORA - 012154). I am able to connect to my database server normally. I got a doubt now regarding Oracle Database10g Express Edition's compatibility with Oracle Developer Suite 10g. Can I use Oracle Database10g Express Edition as backend for Forms/Reports 10g in a stand alone machine.
Can anyone please give me a solution regarding my issue.

12154 means that the TNSNAMES.ora that reports is using does not understand what the '@XE' means.
Check that you do not have several different TNSNAMES.ora files - there are probably several, and the one you are using probably does not point to XE. This is the most common cause I've seen.

Oracle Ebiz DSNO processing

Hello,
We have implemented Oracle B2B Integration along with BPEL Process Manager and XML Gateway that works with Oracle Ebiz Suite 11 5 9. We use the above, to process inbound PO (EDI 850) and Sales Order Acknowledgement (EDI 855). We are working on implementing Advanced Shipment Notice (EDI 856) to send ASN to our customers as soon as the product is ship confirmed in Oracle EBiz Suite. Through an Oracle SR, we understand that we need to use DSNO and eCommerce Gateway to accomplish the ASN.
We have setup the eCommerce Gateway and Ebiz Suite, such that DSNOs are getting generated. Now, what is the best approach to take in order to use this file and send it to the customer as Outbound ASN (EDI 856) transaction ? It looks like taking the output DSNO file thru BPEL and B2B is complicated (since XML Gateway cannot be used based on our current version).

Hello Guys,
IS ORACLE 10g enterprise edition is same oracle identity management because I am bit confused what is going on when we logged an SR we have been told to use oracle 10g AS (10.1.3.5) but in the note its always says oracle 10g AS 10.1.4.X. which is in turn an Identity management so we need install oracle 10gAS (10.1.3.5) then on top of that we install oracle identity management which comprises of OSSO and OID . is it correct ??

I installed oracle 10gas 10.1.4.0.1 its up and running so do i need to just apply the patchset oracle Identity management 10gR3 patcheset (10.1.4.3)
or I have to apply both 10.1.4.3 and the oracle Application server 10g release 2 (10.1.2)patch set 3(10.1.2.3.0) ???
because in enterprise manager application server control it says version 10.1.2.0.2 and identity management components show 10.1.4.0.1 .

Oracle 9i lite & 10g lite compatibility issue

Can anyone tell me if there is a compatibility issue between oracle lite 9i and 10g lite. We are currently developing a window mobile 5.0 application in C# and our client is using a 9i oracle database. We want to directly connect to the database but based on what I search on the forums that CF oracle DtaAdapter only available in the 10g lite version. based on this link:

Oracle 11 is mature. Oracle 12 is in beta and expected to be released this year. Are you running (or planning to run) Oracle 9 on Windows NT 4, on an intel 386?

Oracle Ebiz 12.1.3 versus 12.1.1 changes

Hi All,
I am working with oracle apps 12.1.3 which involves kind of comparison analysis with 12.1.1 and based on this result I should go ahead with next part of my work. I could not see ETRM help for 12.1.3. Is there any documentation available on this? Or could anyone let me know any help available with regard to this? Could anyone tell what is the major change from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 with regard to technical or functional area?

CLAF - How to just change the color-scheme of default laf of Oracle EBiz

How to change the color scheme of the default oracle ebusiness suites laf?
When we tried the CLAF UI, there is no option to extend the oracle-desktop.xss.
It gives only the base-desktop (which is different from the default Oracle Ebusiness laf).
Have anyone done this ?
Any suggestions/help is appreciated..?

the default LAF is Browser one and the OA personalization guide tells what we can't extend it.
It reads so stupid what i was not able to believe it.. But seems true.
When you need to make a simple modification and keeping the look and feel, you can't.
I changed only one icon but you can't give blaf (even if you modify the extends property in the look and feel metadata.xml
Had you try to copy all blafs styles in your BLAF ? (that could be a workaround even if is it not upgradable ?)
Or, open SR ?
Anyway, I'm interesting by an answer too.

I have tried implementing the Spell checker functionality in one of our Custom form,I used the OLE2 Built in Package in forms 6i to invoke the Spell checker functionality in Microsoft word but i am getting an error,Could anyone please help me in implementing the functionality?

If anyone has worked on this BSP Application <b>HAP_DOCUMENT</b>, can you please tell me how to do this auto save functionality. Is it possible that when I give this popup to save using java script and when the User clicks on OK, can I get the return code for this and use it to trigger the auto save functionality? And where exactly do I have to code this. Because the code here is bit confusing and the pages are called dynamically, even Iam unable to figure out the Button Id. Can anyone please help me out on this. This is a very urgent requirement.
