Oracle EM not opening up

HI all,
I have BI services installed. I can log into oracle weblogic admin consol and see that EM service is Active. However Health status does not say anything. But I cannot get into Oracle EM. When I log in it looks like its opening up for a split second and then gets back to the login screen again. No error message is displayed.
I have installed this as part of OBIEE 11g installation. When tried to look through log files I see following error in the bifoundation_domain.log file

Can you see if you have targeted the em on the admin server or you could try redeploying the em application. If these doesn't solve your issue try restarting the admin server. Check the admin server log and see if you are seeing any exception.

Oracle forms not opening after applying devoloper 6i patch 19 (P 9935935)

Dear All,
I have planned to upgrade forms version from 6.0.8.25 to 6.0.8.28 as followed the note      Upgrading Developer 6i with Oracle Applications 11i [ID 125767.1]
and applied the Patch 9935935 after this we have not open the forms and Open the all three windows as normal but after third window we are not able to get any forms window.
what is the problem we can not find any errors and remain applications services are running fine..
please give me solution for this??

Oracle Database not open automatically on restarting the server

Hello,
I am using Oracle8i Release 8.1.6.0.0 - Production. And OS windows 2000.
I installed oracle 8i. On restarting the server the database is not up automatically.
I check the following services. All are in automatice mode.
ORACLETNSListerner
ORacleserviceSID
Oraclewebassistant.
I tried the following option also.
ORADIM -edit -sid -startmode auto.
still not working.
Anyone please suggest the solution for this.

Do you have any Antivirus installed in that server, sometimes antivirus blocks oracle autostart. try with uninstalling antivirus if it is .

Ops can not open with parameter ipc_net=ics0

I get tips from oracle expert adding parameter ipc_net=ics0 in init file.After I add the parameter,Oracle
can not open.ics0 is up and memory channel is ok.when the parmeter is removed,oracle can startup.I don't know why,can u help me.thanks

Can you be more specific than "can not connect to database"? What error do you get, or what is the behavior exactly?
What are you using for connectivity? Is it indeed ODBC, which you've filed this under?
Is this deployed on a 64 bit box? If so, do you have the IIS app pool set to 32 bit, since your assembly is set to target 32 bit?

Again i am running adcfgclone after changing apps password.Why do you have to run adcfgclone after changing the apps password? The cloning procedure is to run adcfgclone and make sure it completes successfully on all tier nodes, then change the apps password and run AutoConfig.
Have you added the application URL to the trusted sites list from the browser?
Can you find any errors in the application.log file?

Oracle ebs is not opening in mozila

Dear Experts,
I am having oracle ebs 12.1.3 and it is opening in internet explorer whilst its not opening in Firefox Mozila 26.I am able to login but after that page is not opening ,
Could you please share your remarks to sort out this issue?. I have removed and reinstall the Mozilla also.

Oracle Marketing online( Web pages are not opening)

Hello all,
I have got 11i installed on my machine. Application is running fine. I was trying my hand on Oracle marketing module and also CRM Administration modules.
I don't know what's going wrong the web pages are not opening ( Web page not found offline) error is appearing.
Infact all functions of Oracle Marketing Super user have they type selected as JSP.
I am unable to resolve this problem. Can some please help me.

i have manually created a database called ora.i have done all the relative tasks.i can open the database by startup nomount pfile.but when i try to create spfile from pfile, it is showing an error that it is already created.when i give the startup command the

LRM-00109: could not open parameter file '/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/dbs/initora.ora'
above error occurs.acutally my pfile is in another location and it is trying to open it from another loc.ihave added the line
export ORACLE_SID=ora in bashrc file.Already there is one database called orcl and it is also been added to the
bashrc file.

And also when I edit /etc/oratab file. I change N to Y for +ASM. But when restart system it seems not changed value is N again.

NOW QUESTIONS!!!!!
1. Why I can't change the status of database to OPEN as grid user?
2. The status is always STARTED when querying v$instance. İs it status of +ASM or database?
3. When checking database as grid user it seems to be Database runnning... If running why it is not in OPEN state? What is running means here?
4. When I log on as oracle user and query v$instance, then error shown above occured. And also when startup the database then another error occured as in above. WHY?
5. When I edit /etc/oratab file manually why second row saved but the first one is changed after restart the system?
6. Normally, which user have to start, stop or manage database? I think that oracle user is necessary for managing database and the grid user is only for managing ASM and Oracle Restart.
PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS CHAOTİC SİTUATİON!!!

Pl identify exact version of 11gR2 to 4 decimal places. As noted in your other thread - Failed to start oracle-ohasd, error: Inappropriate ioctl for device ohasd failed to start at roothas.pl - you will need a minimum version of 11.2.0.3 for Linux 6.x - using a lower version may result in unexpected issues or problems.

My pfile has the name init.ora and not initsolaris.ora.How can I change the settings to make the Oracle database start via pfile init.ora.
Eventually,I would like the db to read the spfile spfileorcl.ora during the startup.How can I achieve this?

Once you have started the db (I believe a startup nomount will be sufficient) you can issue CREATE SPFILE ... Details are in the fine SQL Reference manual found at tahiti.oracle.com
BTW, "open" is the default behavior of "startup", so no need to specify it. A simple "startup" does the same thing.

Forms not opening in Self service login in Oracle Apps 11i

We had cloned one instance and after the clone the self service login is not opening . This is 11.5.8 version of oracle Applications.
I can able to login to dev60cgi/f60cgi page and no issues on that . i am facing the issues at self service.please suggest.

The issue got resolved and the forms are opened . Issue is with the tnsnames.ora in $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/network/admin. we are doing this DB clone in new host and the host entires in tnsnames.ora is rooting to old host entires. We found that and corrected to the new host entries and the issue got resolved. Thanks for your suggestions.Thanks for share solution

If the PO status is in status "in process", it means that there is an approval workflow in progress. As soon as the approval (or re-approval) is completed, you will be able to open the PO.

Oracle Net config assistant not opening on windows.

Hi,
I installed Oracle 9i server on a windows XP machine on Friday, 2nd December. I configured the listener service, netconfig name and my application was up and running.
Today I wanted to make some changes in the listener service; but the net config assistant window is not coming up. New processes launch.exe and jrew.exe are starting in the background with each attempt to launch.
I made sure I am logged in as the same user which installed Oracle on the machine(having ORA_DBA privilages), gave the full control privilages to this user. But the net config assistant is still not opening up.
Could anyone help in this regard.

Hi,
Looks like some objects are encrypted, and you can´t backup them because the wallet is closed.
You should open Wallet to proceed with backup, by doing this command:
ALTER SYSTEM SET ENCRYPTION WALLET OPEN IDENTIFIED BY "YOURPASSWORD";
