$ORACLE_HOME/database 밑에 생기는 파일에 대해서

Question

윈도우의 경우 $ORACLE_HOME/database 밑에
유닉스의 경우 $ORACLE_HOME/dbs 밑에
core_[ORACLE＿SID]_pid_1460_tid_x6B8_2006_12_26_11_4_34.log
이런 파일이 생깁니다.
왜 이런 파일이 생기는지 너무 궁금합니다.
인위적으로 다시 만들수는 없나요?
core파일의 dump_dest로 cdump를 설정을 했는데
core가 들어가는 파일이 datebase 나 dbs의 밑에 생기는 경우는
어떠한 경우에 생기는 건가요??
이쪽에 있는 파일들을 다른 폴더로 자동생성하게 할 수도 있을 까요?

core dump의 경우 init<SID>.ora에 core_dump_dest=''의위치지정이
되면
해당 위치에 core dump를 생성하는 것으로 알고 있습니다.답변감사드립니다.
그런데, 제가 궁금한건 그게 아니구요
core_dump_dest 설정을 해도
디폴트로 설정된 $ORACLE_HOME/database밑에
파일들이 생기는 경우가 있어서요

is produced. In this case the core dump is typically written to the
default location ($ORACLE_HOME/dbs). "
In certain cases when if the the SGA is not mapped, there is no way we can find
out where core_dump_dest is and dumps are created in ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory.
- This cannot be avoided.
