Oracle Inventory Management download

Hi, I am looking for the link to download Oracle Inventory Managment, I am told that it is part of Oracle Warehouse Management. I cannot find neither. The closest I have found is Oracle Warehouse Builder, but that is not what I am after.

Initial download taking time for CTParts in syclo inventory manager 3.2

Hi All,
While doing the Initial download in syclo inventory manager 3.2 we have observed that it is taking a lot of time for fetching the data from the complex table CTParts.
In agentry diagram CTParts complex table is showing nine fields, out of this nine fields few fields like UOM, BatchIndicator etc does not have any dependency.So can i delete those fields?
If yes, what will be the impact on application after deleting those fields .

You need to analyze couple of things before making any program changes:-
a) Can you check if you have set filter for ctparts MDO object in SAP ? if MDO filter for plant points to user parameter "WRK' , look at value of WRK in SU3. Make sure that you have plant value maintained for WRK parameter.
b) if indeed WRK value is maintained then go to MARC and check the number of materials that exists for WRK plant. if it is too many then do you really all those materials downloaded to Mobile device ? check if you can maintain other filters values to restrict material records downloaded like material type , material group etc.
c) Check the point of bottlecheck a) whether it takes more time to execute query in SAP . b) whether it takes time to transfer data from SAP to Java layer. if so try to increase Java heap size.
d) Also look at MDO field selections for ctparts in SAP. Only select fields that you want to do.
e) Did you create additional indexes for ctparts complex table ?
f) Finally if nothing works then look at option of replacing output structure in BAPI which return CTparts with Z structure with only required 9 fields which also requires Z Java code changes for ctparts complex table.

Oracle Access Manager 10.1.4.3.0 is a part of 11g R1 release So, you should be fine with OAM 10.1.4.3.0.
OAM 10G R3 consists of OAM 10.1.4.0.1 (and 10.1.4.2.0).

Initial download taking time in syclo inventory manager 3.2

Hi experts,
I am new to SYCLO world. We are using SYCLO Inventory Manager 3.2. We are having an issue with it. Initial Download is taking so much of time to download the complex table CTParts. As shown in the attached snapshot it is downloading 1000 records at a time.
Is it possible to increase this number? If yes, where i have to make the changes.
Does the above changes will be helpfull to improve the initial sync performance?

OPM Regulatory Management with Oracle Inventory

Hello
We already have Oracle Inventory but would like to use the MSDS functionality in OPM Regulatory Management for hazardous materials without implementing OPM Inventory.
Just wondering if this can be done as when we try to open any form in OPM Regulatory Management, we are being told that the form can't be opened.

Hi,
OPM Regulatory Mgmt comes along with OPM Suite. License is required.
You cannot use OPM Regulatory mgmt with Only Oracle Inventory. OPM inventory should be installed.

Can oracle inventory forecasting be used without order management??

Can someone please tell me how oracle forecasts are used.
Like i have configured and tested it but i want to know how it calculates forecasting and whether it can be used without order management module or not
when i define item comsumption entries and gvie a quantity in current, the ending date and then see bucketed, it shows same forecasted quantity for all periods that i entered in item comsumption entries
I dont understand this
And why is forecasting necessary for reorder point planning

Yes, in that case it can accept manually entered forecasts or forecast generated from Inventory demand history (say Miscellaneous issue, Inter-org Transfer, Issue to WIP) excluding Sales Order issues (as OM is not included).

Do it quick - 9i is in extended support next week and, traditionally, products in extended support have been no longer downloadable.

Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent deployment (Installation and Configuration) Error

Hello,
I am trying to create an agent on a linux server using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.3. The user is created with root privilege on the server, by change /etc/sudoers entry username the same as the root entry. After that I tried to add host target by clicking Setup->Add Target->Add target Manually->Add Host Targets in the Oracle Enterprise Manager.
In the Add Target view: I clicked on add, then I entry host and platform information. After that I click next. Then I provided the Linux x86-64 : Installation Details for
Installation Base Directory, Instance Directory, Name Credential ... then click next. then click Deploy Agent.
In the Add Host Status view: stages Initialization and Remote Prerequisite Check successfully passed, but in the stage Agent Deployment, it failed in the Installation and Configuration phrase of the Agent Deployment stage.
The log content is shown below. There are numerous SEVERE Errors. But I don't have much experience in dealing with these type of problems. I thank you in advance for all the helps.

1. we modified /etc/exports to include this line: /export *(rw,no_root_squash,sync)
we start nfs service by executing command “service nfs start”.
On Management Agent server (nsn175-89), we verified that we are able to mount /export directory of EM server.
On Management Agent server, we started firefox browser and were able to run successfully https://nsn175-105.us.oracle.com:4904/empbs/genwallet
After making this change, we ran agent deployment again. We encountered the same error as shown above.
“You can fix the software library or you can download the agent bits in offline mode.”
For fixing the software library, select Setup->Provision and Patching->Offline Patching, then select Offline Patching radio button, download: https://updates.oracle.com/download/em_catalog.zip. Next upload this zip file.

We are not sure what agent bits are. Would you please explain this and provide procedure how we can download this?

How to install Oracle Configuration Manager on laptop without Oracle dist?

I'm sure this is the wrong forum to ask this in, but I can't find a better one.
I was trying to file a support case in My Oracle Support, which I haven't done in a long time. It appears to want me to install "Oracle Configuration Manager". I just have WebLogic installed on this box. I don't even have an Oracle installation. The installation instructions for OCM seem to be very complicated, or I'm just missing the "just do this simple thing" instructions.
I downloaded the installer, and I installed it, but when I try to submit a support case, it seems like it thinks it's not installed. It keeps on complaining that I haven't used a stored configuration, but I don't see any way to create one. I imagine that OCM is supposed to help with that, but it's not doing anything obvious.

+6.3 Removing Oracle Configuration Manager+
To uninstall Oracle Configuration Manager, follow these steps:
If the $ORACLE_HOME directory contains a database, remove the Oracle Configuration Manager user and the associated objects from the database by running the following script:
SQL> $ORACLE_HOME/ccr/admin/scripts/dropocm.sql
If the database is a repository for the Oracle E-Business Suite, log in to the database as an SYSDBA user and remove the additional objects from the database by running the following script:
+$ORACLE_HOME/ccr/admin/scripts/ebs_dropccr.sql Oracle_Applications_User+
If the database is a repository for Oracle Grid Control, log in to the database as the SYSMAN user and remove the additional objects from the database by running the following script:
+$ORACLE_HOME/ccr/admin/scripts/dropemrep_collect.sql+
To stop the Scheduler and remove the service or the crontab entry, enter the following command:
+$ORACLE_HOME/ccr/bin/deployPackages -d $ORACLE_HOME/ccr/inventory/core.jar+
Delete the ccr directory by entering the following command:
+$ rm -rf $ORACLE_HOME/ccr+
Oracle Configuration Manager is successfully uninstalled.
However, $ORACLE_HOME/ccr/admin/scripts/dropocm.sql does not exist on our system.

Does Oracle offir a solution that allows an airlines to manage its inventory? I have a customer who has heard and read that Oracle's Inventory Management module will work with the special requirements of the airline industry. Is this true?
