Hello Experts,
How can we define "Team Only" and "Business and Team" security profiles in Oracle iRecruitment? (Any example sceraio is highly benefited) - FYI, we have only one Business Group.
In my requirement, "Team Only" security should not allow any employee who is under different supervisor level hierarchy.
"Business and Team" should allow Team Members and other employees either to update/view the vacancy.

You can get the list of all iRecruitment tables using ETRM in Oracle Support site.
Refer Note#167182.1.
FYI: Instructions in that note says

Remove 'Side Navigation link' in oracle irecruitment manager

Hi everyone,
I have repeated tried to remove a Side Navigation Link container holding: New Vacancy and New Offer Link in Oracle iRecruitment Manager.
Responsibility: iRecruitment Manager, I want these two links disable, i have tried rendering it False but nothing.
How do I disable this region so that it does not show, please help.

Deploy oracle iRecruitment

Dears,
M y customer wants to deploy oracle iRecruitment on the internet they already have Oracle Application on Sun Solaris Machine.
What are the steps to do that, what are the technical recommendation/configuration that I should do/follow

The overall steps are as follows:
1. Create external web server (Only Apache to be configured to run)
2. Update Hierarchy Type
(sqlplus apps/apps-passwd @$FND_TOP/patch/115/sql/txkChangeProfH.sql SERVRESP)
3. Update Node Trust Level Profile option for the External Server to Extenal.
4. Set Responsibility Trust level for 'iRecruitment External candidate' to 'External'
5. Set profile value 'Self Service Personal Home Page Mode' to 'Framework Only'
6. Set the following values in the context file to appropriate values: ( s_webentryurlprotocol
s_webentryhost
s_webentrydomain
s_active_webport
s_login_page
s_external_url )
6.Enable EBIZ Security
7. Run autoconfig and start application on the external web server.

Oracle iRecruitment: Keyword Search within Resumes using Oracle Text

Dear All,
As per my understanding (and Note: 247064.1) simple Keyword searches can be performed in iRecruitment if oracle Text is installed. However searching for Keywords within resumes is not possible using Oracle Text and is possible ONLY if Resume Parsing is enabled via a third party (non-oracle) service provider.
Can you please let me know if my understanding is correct and if not provide further inputs on this.

Got this confirmation from Oracle via SR:
Resume searching is independent of resume parsing and not required to search resumes.
Oracle Text is the text engine that allows you to search documents using content-based queries. Oracle Text allows you to upload documents, search documents, parse resumes, etc.
Hence to conclude - Installation of Oracle Text will allow Keyword Searches on resumes.

Resume parsing in oracle iRecruitment

Hi All
I am new to iRecruitment module i would be really thankfull if any one helps me.
Regarding the resume parsing i know that managers or recruiters can search for resumes through Resume keword search does oracle provides minimum functionality for that or that works only if any third party tool is enabled.I have actually tried with searching some resumes through Resume keword search from manager/recruiter responsibilities but its not picking those resumes.
Is there any profile options or setups are needed to make it work.
Please help me in this.Thank you

My HR Staffing group now is also looking for an effective resume parsing alternative. Searching thru metalink, I did not get any answer. Looking into your discussion forum, I have a few comments and questions:
(1) As far as I could have experimented, Oracle's keyword search functionality in iRecruitment does not allow you to search on the resumes' contents. I tried it but it did not work. We do have the Index Synchronization concurrent program scheduled running. The regular keyword search works, but it does not alllow us to do "Resume" search. Could sombody who knows kindly comment on this or shed some lights ?
(2) I tried to contact Resume Mirror sales team, so far I have not heard from anybody. Did anybody go thru an implementation with them and can shed some lights about how much is the implementation cost and how long does it take etc.? From the cost benefit point of view, is it worth the efforts and costs?
(3) Does anybody know how to impelement a "Boolean Search" functionality via Oracle Text? Could anybody kindly shed some light on where to find proper documentation to have it set up properly so that we can just use it via iRecruitment Candidate Search web page? If this functionality can be turned on, how is this compared with Resume Mirror's search funtionality?

Error when updating Vacancy in oracle iRecruitment

Hi guys,
I have an issue coming up when updating a vacancy in iRecruitment.
ERROR: The Mandatory column ATTRIBUTE (Also Known as ATTRIBUTE1) has not been assigned a value.
Please help me, I am thinking it is an error related with the DDF or LOOKUPS, but not sure which one, or the exact issue.

Need Assistance - iRecruitment Link "Search Open Positions at Oracle"

I am a frequent user of the iRecruitment site to search for open Oracle Positions and have successfully accessed the site in the past. I am using Internet Explorer 8.
When I access the link "Open Positions at Oracle (Please use Internet Explorer), a new session pops up and I receive the error message "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage". "What you can try - Diagnose the problem". Diagnosing the problem leads to nothing. In troubleshooting, my internet connection is good and I can access all other sites on the Oracle iRecruitment page (all other links, etc.).
Is the site down? How can I prevent this from happening and use the iRecruitment site to search for open positions.

1. Use a different browser (like Firefox), or a different PC, to see if you can replicate the error.
2. Give feedback at the site stating your issue. Forum members will not be able to help, nor are these forums monitored by Support.

IRecruitment conversion issue for internal applicants

Hi,
We are doing conversion from legacy to oracle irecruitment. When converting external applicants, things have gone fine. I used Create_user and registered_user_application API's.
Now for internal applicants conversion, its giving me lot of problems. If i use registered_user application API, its end dating his existing person and assignment record and creating a new applicant record.
But i need to update his person record with person_type status to EMP_APL. Is there any way to do this?

Thank you for your reply.
Actually i tried with hr_applicant_api.apply_for_job_anytime. This API takes person_id and vacancy_id as parameters and updates the person record with person_type status to 'EMP_APL' and creates one more assigment record with user_status 'Active Application'
Now my issue is resolved.

Can anyone confirm Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) dashboards (or data) is available in OBIA? I'm just wondering whether HR analytics contains those data.

T&L is not available as of yet in OBIA. I believe the only HRMS modules includes with OBIA (as of 7962) are:
Oracle Human Resources
Oracle Payroll
Oracle Learning
Management
Oracle iRecruitment

I am running the script table_partition which consist of 366 partition and 31 sub partition but the script is hanging.there is no hint in alert log file or anything wat might be the reason is it because of extent size? as extent size for this tablespace where table has to be create is 1mb,wat i suspect is do i need to set for higher value inorder to avoid this?

IRecruitment Site visitor issue !!

Dears,
I am trying to use site vistor URL https://xxxx-prodapp.xxx.xxx.com.xx:5551/OA_HTML/IrcVisitor.jsp but it is taking me to normal application login then when I put any employee name then it goes to the standard Site Visitor page !! It's acting like the profile is defined for employees not site vsitors..
Do you have any cluse about the responsible profile of this issue as I've reviewed most of the reqired profiles. I also did the same on test instance and it was working fine..
