Oracle Maps RC1 - Color scheme - opacity bug

Hi,
In Advanced styles -> Color scheme - when I set opacity - takes no effect - preserves 100%
thanks,
Branislav

Hi Brasnilav,
currently the color opacity value seems to be not considered for color scheme styles in MapViewer, although the interface in MapBuilder has the option to change. We will look into this for future version.
Thanks.

  • Oracle Maps RC1 - startMarqueeZoom() bug

    Hi,
    startMarqueeZoom() invokes only "zoom_level_change" action but not "recenter" so I can't remember state of map after user uses this functionality for zooming.
    thanks,
    Branislav

    mapview.addEventListener("zoom_level_change", rememberZoom)
    mapview.addEventListener("recenter", rememberCenter)

    setCookie('Y', mapview.getCenter().getPointY(), null, null, null, null);
    this works when panning and zooming with navigation tool but if I invoke startMarqueeZoom() as onClick() of some page element rememberCenter() is not thrown

  • CLAF - How to just change the color-scheme of default laf of Oracle EBiz

    How to change the color scheme of the default oracle ebusiness suites laf?
    When we tried the CLAF UI, there is no option to extend the oracle-desktop.xss.
    It gives only the base-desktop (which is different from the default Oracle Ebusiness laf).
    Have anyone done this ?
    Any suggestions/help is appreciated..?

    the default LAF is Browser one and the OA personalization guide tells what we can't extend it.
    It reads so stupid what i was not able to believe it.. But seems true.
    When you need to make a simple modification and keeping the look and feel, you can't.
    I changed only one icon but you can't give blaf (even if you modify the extends property in the look and feel metadata.xml
    Had you try to copy all blafs styles in your BLAF ? (that could be a workaround even if is it not upgradable ?)
    Or, open SR ?
    Anyway, I'm interesting by an answer too.

  • How do I make a custom brush image in a gradient color scheme in Photoshop Elements 12?

    I want to make a custom brush image in a gradient color scheme.  I know how to change the hue jitter, but I want to "paint" the image with a gradient between two colors.  For example, I have an image of an octopus that I have used to create a custom brush.  I want the top of the octopus to be hot pink and gradually fade into a deep orange at the end of the tentacles.  Everything I've looked up just colors the background.  Thanks in advance!

    Try the following:
    Open the octopus image
    Open a Gradient Map Adjustment layer above this. There are several preset gradients, but in my version of the program I don't see one with pink to orange.
    When you double click on the gradient bar in the Adjustments palette, this will open up the Gradient Editor, where you can tailor the gradient to your specifications with color and opacity stops. (see below)
    This will apply the gradient to the entire picture. However, the adjustment layer has a built-in mask (the white rectangle).
    Left click on this and paint with a black brush to hide the gradient outside of the octopus. If you go too far, you can correct with a white brush.
    Now, as to the Gradient map adjustment layer, here is how to configure it:

  • [KDE 4.6] No preview when changing color scheme

    In systemsettings > appearence > color schemes when change scheme in preview area dysplayed the same scheme, which current set. I test this bug in two machines. On one of them with new kde-profile.

    I noticed it too; that is, each preview shows the last active color scheme when I change it.  I've been using 4.6 since RC1, and wanted to wait and see if others had the problem after upgrading to the final release.  A bug report was file a couple weeks ago; you can view it here.

  • DROID X color scheme.....

    It seems that on some screens, the color scheme is not good.  For example, the calendar is dark grey and the events show little color except for a tiny strip on the left of the event.  On orignal Droid, the calendar was bright.  Also, when in Google Maps, some of the buttons such as "GO" use a grey letters on grey background. I have seen this grey on grey scheme in other areas as well. If you go on maps and do a search, you will see that the magnifying glass and voice command is grey on grey. Not so on original Droid. Has anyone else noticed this?

    I agree with you totally, and I'm amazed more people aren't complaining about it.  The black font on really dark grey background has really been bugging me.  I don't know if it;'s an Android standard, or something that Motorola conjured up, but it makes it all but impossible to read.  I'm finding it mostly with date/time entries.  I'm hoping that Froyo will fix it, but I'm not optimistic.

  • Projection problem in OracleAS Map Viewer

    Hi,
    I am using OracleAS Map Viewer 11 EA1and I try to display a map with an image (srid=1002000) and a vector (srid=8192) on the top. If I understand the documentation correctly, the vector might be reprojected into the map srid which is 1002000. But when the map is created, the vector is not correctly reprojected (I see some roads in the ocean!). I am wandering if it is a bug in map viewer; or maybe I didn't use it corectly!
    My query looks like:
    <map_request
    title=""
    datasource="all_images"
    width="1229"
    height="840"
    srid="1002000"
    antialiase="false"
    format="PNG_URL">
    <center size="7865.9766">

    <geometricProperty typeName="center">
    <Point>

    1230462.1 , -582145.4
    </coordinates>
    </Point>
    </geometricProperty>
    </geoFeature>
    </center>
    <themes>
    <theme name="mosaic_pan'"
    min_scale="5000000.0"
    max_scale="0.0">
    <jdbc_georaster_query
    jdbc_srid="1002000"
    datasource="all_images"
    georaster_table="mosaic.mosaic_pan"
    georaster_column="georaster"
    asis="false">
         select georaster from mosaic.mosaic_pan where rowid='AAANn1AAKAAAAAKAAA'
              </jdbc_georaster_query>
    </theme>
    <theme name="road_l" min_scale="10000.0" max_scale="0.0">
    <jdbc_query
    datasource="all_images"
              jdbc_srid="8192"
    render_style="MDSYS:L.MAJOR STREET"
    spatial_column="shape1"
    >select shape1 from can51.road_l</jdbc_query>
    </theme>
    </themes>
    </map_request>
    Thanks in advance,
    Ganael

    your map request seems correct, and yes mapviewer will automatically reproject your vector theme if it's srid (8192) is different from the request srid (1002000). What's more likely is that your georaster is not being displayed correctly? Have you tried displaying the vector road data against a know vector boundary data set like country/state, in the 1002000 projection and see if everything is working fine? then add the georaster layer back on and go from there....

  • About label Oracle Map Builder

    Hello! I have a question about Oracle Map Builder.
    There are three layers in basemap: the first - a polyline, the second - a point, and the third - a polygon with a solid color (top). Labels are included to the first two signatures. While viewing the map shows a third (polygon) layer, and the signature of the first two.
    Question: Is there a possibility to remove the appearance of signatures of the lower layers (disabling signatures by minimum scale for display is not suitable, as they are used outside of polygon layer), and how to do it?
    Thank you!

    I'm not sure I understand the question. Here's is my assumption of what the question is.
    You have three layers in a basemap : a polyline, a point, and a polygon in that order. That is polyline rendered first, points on top of it, and then the color-filled polygon layer on top of those two.
    The part I don't understand is what you mean by signatures of the polyline and point layers.
    Anyway, if the solid color-filled polygon layer is rendered last (i.e. on top) then the other two layers should not be visible at all unless their extent (the area they cover) differs from the extent for the polygon layer or the polygon layer does not completely cover the map extent or it's not a solid color fill but one with some transparency setting.
    Scale ranges can be applied to each layer when adding them to a basemap in MapBuilder. Choose the scale mode (e.g. ratio) and set the max and min scale values for each layer. e.g.
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
    <map_definition>
    <theme name="STATES_DENSITY" min_scale="Infinity" max_scale="2.5E7" scale_mode="RATIO"/>
    <theme name="COUNTY_POPDENSITY" min_scale="2.5E7" max_scale="0.0" scale_mode="RATIO"/>
    <theme name="HIGHWAYS_LINE"/>
    <theme name="CITIES" min_scale="1000000.0" max_scale="1000.0" scale_mode="RATIO"/>
    </map_definition>
    The above says render the states_density layer while zoomed out to the full extent and up until the user zooms in to a 1:250,000,000 scale. When zoomed in further do not render/display the states population density layer. Display the county population density instead. Always display the highways. And start to display cities when the map in zoomed to 1:1,000,000 and up until 1:1,000 scale.
    If you want to set the labeling scale ranges on a per layer (theme) basis then set it using the Other Properties panel in Map Builder. For the Cities layer above the styling rule with label scale ranges set is:
    <styling_rules>
    <scale_ranges>
    <mode> RATIO </mode>
    <min_labeling_scale> 1.0E8 </min_labeling_scale>
    <max_labeling_scale> 10000.0 </max_labeling_scale>
    </scale_ranges>
    <rule>
    <features style="M.ALL_CITY_L1_8X8"> (POP90 &gt; 1000000) </features>
    <label column="CITY" style="T.S03_CITIES_L1"> 1 </label>
    </rule>
    </styling_rules>
    i.e. show city names from 1:100,000,000 till 1:10,000
    1/100,000,000 is a smaller number than 1/10,000
    Hope this helps.

  • Motif L&F: support for color schemes?

    I want to use the Motif L&F in my Java application, but I want the color scheme to be chosen as per the users installed Color theme(using the CDE Style Manager).
    Having a default bluish grey UI does not blend well with my 'Desert' or 'Delphinium' color theme... how can I achieve this in my java app with minimal code?
    Thanks

    Doesnt look like Sun provided support for Themes in
    Motif L&F...
    I tried the SwingSet demo on Solaris, and when Motif
    L&F is chosen, the Theme drop down gets disabled...Got Mantis? The GTK L&F in 1.4.2 supports themes. Otherwise, you might be able to do what you want by subclassing MotifLookAndFeel--just that class, I mean, not the whole L&F. You would actually be creating a new L&F that uses all of the Motif UI delegate classes, but replacing its color scheme with your own. I've never tried it, so it might not be that simple--and if it takes any more effort than that, it's not worth it. Not with the GTK L&F already out there, and the Synth L&F coming in 1.5.
    and, as an aside, the SwingSet font in the 'view
    source' pane is extremely small and unreadable on
    Solaris... looks like sloppy workmanship!
    It's the same on Windows. I believe it's due to a known bug that causes the HTML renderer to make Swing's already-too-small fonts, even smaller.

  • Scroll bar color to set to same as the color specfied in .cfg color scheme

    Hi Nimphius
    I set the in .cfg file color scheme to Khaki and my manager likes the color for all forms across but I can not set same color to scroll bar, I tried to give the back ground property to r140g142b123 but forms not taking it.
    Can you please help me how to set get same color (Khaki) to scroll bar.
    Please reply if anybody face same kind of problem.
    Thanks in advance
    Murthy

    This is problem with Oracle forms, They design something and that might not work with other colors.
    When they put color scheme to Khaki, Dont they think to give same visual attribute to give in property pallte,
    Last time I had tought time integrating web utils built-in.
    I do not know what to do get out of this silly stupid color issue.
    I appreciate if any of forms designers thought of this issue.
    Any feed back is welcome.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Java Basic CMYK color scheme Support

    Is java has basic CMYK color scheme suppotr as i look in java.awt.Color class of Java6 and java7. We can only pass RGB in color constructor. I used some libraries but it only supports CMYK convert to RGB not directly choosing color from CMYK. Please suggest if any library available in Java to directly get color from CMYK color scheme.
    Edited by: user9098607 on Aug 11, 2011 2:41 AM

    You'll need to get a ICC profile . After that you can use the http://download.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/api/java/awt/color/ICC_ColorSpace.html class for your needs . A quick google search would give you the code required.
