Oracle Metadata Integrator not showing relationships

Hi,
We are having Information Steward version 14.2.1.220 and we ran the JDBC driver version for Oracle database is 11.2.0.1.0.
It ran successfully but dint collect the relationships(impact, lineage etc).
Here I have attached the log file.
Can anyone please provide the solution?
Thanks and Regards,
Bhagyashri

Hi,
For the log file, it is clearly showing that you used Relational Database Integrator source. The log clearly shows that it collected all metadata and its relationships, i didn't see any error in the error log except for few objects. Another error is related JDBC drivers (like not certified), which can be ignorable. Could you explain what impact and lineage relationships you are expecting from the metadata, so that will help to find the root cause and understand the issue in detail.
Thanks,

This has been an ongoing issue with this camera for a long time. Search the list here or Google the issue to see the many posts on this.
For whatever reason Aperture is unable to report that data. Some have written that it is because the that particular lens/camera combination does not report the f stop information.

  • Managed Metadata Fields not showing up in preview mode

In our SharePoint 2013 Publishing page, managed metadata fields doesn't show in preview, they show up only in edit mode or after we publish page.
    Is this bug?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that the managed metadata fields not display in preview.
I tried to reproduce the issue, the managed metadata fields worked well in my environment.
I create a publishing page, add a library web part which contained managed metadata columns.
Then click the preview option in the ribbon, the managed metadata columns worked well.
Did the issue occur in other publishing pages? You can create a new publishing page to check whether it works.
Did you use the compatibility mode or add the site into trusted sites?
You can use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
    Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
You can also add the site into Trusted sites.
Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What's more, you can use other browsers to check whether it works, such as Firefox, Chrome.

  • Metadata values not showing in Site Studio layout using Idoc Script

    Hi All,
We have a SS layout (secondary) with replaceable regions for showing content that is listed in a primary page dynamic list.
Part of the layout shows contribution elements of Contributor Data File content items, but part of layout also shows metadata values. We use <!--$DOC_INFO.dDocTitle--> to show the content item Title with no problems.
However, for some content items, some metadata values are not showing on the layout - specifically a custom metadata field called xFinishDate (which is of type 'Date' in Config Man). The code <!--$DOC_INFO.xFinishDate--> simply does not work (nothing is displayed) for some content items, despite definitely having a set FinishDate value. Some other content items show this value fine.
The <!--$DOC_INFO.dDocTitle--> value works for ALL items, but the <!--$DOC_INFO.xFinishDate--> does not, and there appears to be no difference between the items that it does, and does not work for. They are all CDF, same DocType, same CheckIn profile, etc.
The non-working items are all released and indexed. Their Content Information in Content Server shows complete metadata. I have resubmitted the non-working items for reconversion in Repo Man but no luck.
Is there something I am missing? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Luke.

Actually the default DOC_INFO resultset that is on the page seems to be for the content item being loaded into the secondary layout's replaceable regions. This is why DOC_INFO.dDocTitle gives the results expected.
However, I think I have discovered why the xFinishDate value was not showing. Using sapan's code (and modifying it a bit) I was able to print out all the metadata field names and values for default DOC_INFO resultset.
Using this URL as an example: http://www.bond.edu.au/about-bond/jobs-at-bond/BD3_011217
At the top of page region (replaceable) where the Contributor Data File is loaded into, the DOC_INFO resultset is relevant to the content item that is being loaded into the layout (content ID: BD3_011217 - as per the URL format), which is what we want.
However, throughout the Contributor Data File content, if a link is made using the Site Studio link wizard via FCK Editor (in the above case, it is the position description link, which is a link to a PDF) and the link is 'Link to a file' and the 'Choose Target section' is selected as 'Use default website section metadata', the resulting link looks like "http://www.bond.edu.au/about-bond/jobs-at-bond/BD3_011216". Any references to the DOC_INFO resultset on the page after the instance of this link now use the metadata of the content item referred to in the link, not the original content item. I have dumped out the DOC_INFO fields/values in different parts of the layout to prove this. The linked content item has no xFinishDate value so this is why nothing displays (displaying xFinishDate needs to happen after the link to the position description).
I guess I need to either:
    - change the way the link is made to the content item to "Link to the Content Item's URL", but I would prefer not to expose the resulting path e.g. "[!--$HttpRelativeWebRoot--]groups/group-name/@account-name/documents/content-type/content-id.pdf"
    - explicitly make a resultset using <!--$executeService("SS_GET_SEARCH_RESULTS")--> with the content ID I know I want and use it instead of the default DOC_INFO one. Is there any other way to make a resultset comprising of a single item's metadata?

  • Metadata Integrator not displayin cms details

    Hi,
I can successfully access  Impact And Lineage  from the DI Management Console, but all I can see on the left hand side pane are the repository and the datastores. CMS information is not being displayed.
Nothing at all is displayed in the right hand side pane when clicking/hovering over any of the present objects in the left hand side pane.
    Installed are:
    DI 11.7
    BOE 11.5
CMS and DI are installed on the same server and I can successfully configure Metadata Integrator by running the tool which creates the appropriate folder in the CMC. The collector runs successfully as well.
    Any help much appreciated.

Metadata Integrator can't run on BOE CMS, Program JobServer running on Unix/Linux
you will have to configure the BOE CMS and Program Job Server on windows on the same machine where DI Metadata Integrator is installed
The cmsCollector application is dependent on DeskI and Universe COM Interface which is not available on UNIX, hence the limitation

  • Using Content Query webpart for specific Document library with multiple managed metadata - Document with multiple metadata tags not showing up

    Hi,
I am having an issue where when I insert a Content Query webpart into a page, and filter to managed metadata, all the right documents show up except one document that happens to have two metadata tags attached to it.  The content query webpart is set
to only look through a specific document library.  I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.
Here is the one document with two metadata tags:
    Below is the Content Query:

    Hi,
As I understand, you did not get the results with multiple metadata tags through Content Query web part in SharePoint 2013.
    Check things below:
    1. Check if you have set the item limit more than the display items in Presentation section of the web part. If the item number more than item limit, the rest items will not show.
    2. Check if the item you cannot find uses the content type you have set in the content type section of content query web part.
When you edit the properties of the item, you will see the content type the item is using.

    Hi Carsten
That was exactly* I was looking for. Maybe I should Google more in German ;-)
The main problem was that I defined my image outside the first repeating group (that doesn't repeat, it's always just one object) - the first group is followed by 7 more.
Just like the "Name" (that's positioned outside the group in the document header), I positioned the image above the table representing the group.
Doing that, the "Name" is filled correctly, the Image only when the Output Format is Excel or HTML - not Word or PDF ... makes no sense but that's tje way it is.
After moving the image inside the group....it works great!
(One more thing...the image size is fixed to the image you use as "dummy". Is there any way to make that more flexible, because now some scaling happens...)???
@Trent: That was the way we initially did it, but when the size of the row exceeds 32K...you know what happens.. And even with a small image the 32K limit is hit easily
The way I use it now (very similar to Carsten's description) there is no limit....
    Thank you all!

  • Aperature Metadata does not show custom white balance. It just shows auto wb when custom

I have Aperature 3 latest update.  I have noticed that the Metadata tab under White Balance does not indicate that i used a custom white balance.  It simply states "Auto White Balance".  Is this something Apple can correct?  Am i missing a way to indicate custom white balance?

Robert -- my in-camera WB setting shows correctly in the metadata (e.g.: Auto, Daylight, Shade, Cloudy Weather, etc.).  I use a Sony a850.
It sounds as though either your Nikon codes the WB in a proprietary field (every mfr. creates their own RAW file format), or Aperture is not properly reading the EXIF.  You could read the EXIF yourself to see whether Nikon puts the WB in the expected field.
Perhaps someone with Nikon experience can join in.  I'm sorry to report that I have none.
Fwiw, I always shoot RAW and AWB and make corrections are needed in Aperture.  Since I make only RAW captures and use an OVF, I have no use for the in-camera WB settings.

  • DNG metadata changes not showing up

I've made development changes in Lightroom to photos on my laptop. However, they aren't showing up when I import them to my desktop (I'm not applying any import settings upon import). Any suggestions here would be greatly appriciated!

    Hi Gabe,
Another option which I use is to hook my laptop up to my network (ethernet cabled for speed, but wireless works as well) then from my master catalog on my desktop I import from the catalog on the laptop.  Like Ian's approach of saving the Metadata into the DNG file then importing the DNG files into LR, you get the same end result.  However, by importing the catalog I get the opportunity to place the DNG files in their proper, permenant location automatically and I save all the history steps of the editing I did on the laptop, which unless it was recently changed with a LR update, is lost using the import from DNG files approach.
If you use my approach, I generally delete all images from the laptop catalog, from within LR, and opt to delete files from disk AND catalog, when I am certain they are properly in the master catalog.  I hate doing edits twice on the same images by mistake

  • GPS Metadata dose not show full accuracy

Is there a way to show the full GPS coordinate data in the metadata?
In Nikon ViewNX it shows one of the coordinates as S23d 19m 15.23s from my image while Lightroom 4.2 only shows 32d 19m 15s.  The 0.23seconds is missing in LR4.  The data must be there as I have images that are shown in different positions on the map but the GPS metadata is the same.  Since the full data is not sown in LR4 the metadata cannot be accurately copied from one image to another.

A number of people have complained about LR's lack of precision for GPS coordinates:
