Oracle Modeler: How to link DFD Information Stores to Logical Model Entitie

I have created a hierarchy of DFDs for my system :)
Some of the DFDs have Information stores.
I want to specify the Entities in each InformationStore by linking them to Entities I have defined in the Logical model/ERD.
However... in the Information Store Properties dialog box in the Entities section there is just a [xyz] button so I can't see how to link the store to my existing Entities (Iwas epxecting to see + and - and a dialog box that allowed me to select the Entities I have already created ?
Help !
(are Information Structures somehow involved as they have the + and - buttons) ??

Entities section just shows linked Entities.
Go to Attributes section and add (link) desired Attributes to InformationStore.

Not good, because I want the Logical Model to drive the processes, not the other way around. The tool seems to be implementing a version of systems analysis that I can trace to DeMarco (1979). This was discovered to be sub-optimal, and documented as such by Flavin (1981), and McMenamin and Palmer (1984). Palmer's later work (unfortunately, mostly unpublished) showed in more detail exactly how the Logical Model should drive the Process Models, not the other way around.
Ideally, an Information Store could be associated to an Entity, and, when the analyst was ready (not before), balancing reports could be run to identify situations where the Entity had attributes that were never created, or never read. Other CASE tools have been able to do this for the last 20 years; it's not rocket science.
I would characterize the way the tool works now as "program-centric" rather than "data-centric."
By analogy, it reminds of a different, but also common programmer behavior, namely pestering the DBAs to denormalize everything, because it saves them (the programmers) from having to code joins.
Don't let programmers drive software methods, or the supporting software tools.

When I browse the iTMS, and see something interesting, I just drag the right most name in the navigation bar to the desktop.
For example when it says [home]>Rock>The Rolling Stones>A Bigger Bang, I click on 'A Bigger Bang' and drag it to the desktop.
Double-clicking on it brings be right back to this page.
When imported in mail, it will give you the full URL.
I'm not sure if this works when sending to another person (never tried).

How to link Infotype Table Data to Logical Database

We have historical data in one of our system brought by using diret insert queries on Infotype tables. Now, we are facing a problem that this data is not visible from PA20/PA30. Also, while using Logical Database in programs, we are not able to extract data from Infotypes using GET events.
Does anybody have any idea/solution to this kind of problem?

What made you to take decision to make direct table updates? I am not sure if this was the correct way. Anyway, whether all the module pool programs are in place foe these custom infotypes. You dont have to do anything else to have logical database program to fetch data for custom infotypes. Check if eveything in PM01 is configured correctly.

As long as you have a form of payment (credit or debit card) with a USA source, and with a billing address in the USA, then you just need to change your payment information on your account to that, change your country in the store settings, and you will then be able to shop in the USA store.
Your AppleID will work in any country's store, as long as your payment source and billing addres are also specific to that country (and you are in that country as well, as there may be IP filters in place to stop use outside of the country).

You might profit from a visit to a Minneapolis Apple store. With a brand new Mac, I think they will be most helpful - not just with transferring files, but with other advice as well. And I strongly recommend you invest in a back up drive. The Apple folk can help with that as well.

You can connect a form with the server using any of many technologies, such as PHP, BlazeDS, ColdFusion, JSP, ASP, Perl, Python, etc.

How do i change column names in oracle model?

I am performing a migration from SQL SERVER 7.0 to Oracle 8.1.7.
I have tables that have tables in SQL SERVER with column names
that are "TYPE" and "BODY".(These are generally TEXT datatype
columns that need to be converted to LONG in Oracle.We need
these to be LONG datatype in Oracle because of an application we
are using. LOBS cannot be allowed)
The migration utility renames these columns as "TYPE_"
and "BODY_" and creates the tables in the Oracle Database.
I need to have these tables in Oracle with the same column names
viz. "TYPE" and "BODY" .
I can create new tables in Oracle with the column names "TYPE"
and "BODY" but cannot change the options in the migration
workbench for this.
Is there any option or any workaround I can use to change the
column names in the Oracle model?or set the options so that the
Oracle model tables donot modify these column names?

The words 'TYPE' and 'BODY' are reserved Oracle words. Its best
to go along with what the workbench has suggested. If you have
to keep the original names of the columns trying wrapping double
quotes around them after the data migration is complete. This
may cause a case sensitivity or referential problem later on
though.

If you have made a backup at any time of your iPod in iTunes, it should be in Preferences, under Devices tab.
In iTunes
Open iTunes Preferences.
From the Preferences window click on the Devices.
Once you are there you should see a list under "Device Backups:".
Hover your mouse pointer to the device and in a little while it should display the serial number of the device (with an iPhone it will also display a phone number used with it and the IMEI code and with an iPad it will display the IMEI in addition to the serial number).

Secure link to iTunes store failed

I cannot get iTunes to create a "secure link to iTunes store". I'm at a complete loss on how to fix this. I'm running Windows XP, connected thru a network switch to HughesNet. I have the latest version of iTunes, I can sign into the iTunes store & download songs, but can't update my phone. . I tried to upgrade my 3GS to iOS 5 & iTunes said I wasn't connected. I click "update", it starts to backup my phone, then stops & says it can't connect. I did a manual backup of my phone, then hit "update" & it still didn't work.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Clock is set correctly, not using a proxy, lan settings correct (ssl 3.0 & tls 1.0 checked, server cert. revocation off), cleared dns, reset winsock, restarted network switch, restarted modem, uninstalled Norton products, turned off ZoneAlarm, uninstalled ZoneAlarm, turned off Windows firewall, verified that iTunes is on Windows Firewall exception list, opened port 80, opened port 443, created new blank "hosts" file, repaired iTunes, uninstalled iTunes, reinstalled iTunes.
Still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
