Oracle Online Library's dmp cannot be imported to Designer 10g

I am member of Oracle Online Libray. I have studied the module "Oracle9i Designer New Features".
I download the zip file "Des9iNFeClassSetup.zip" and unzip the files.
I follow th instruction to import dmp file "nfRepository.dmp" but I encounter the following error after I import the dmp file:
RME-02105 Oracle error occurred
ORA-01986: OPTIMIZER_GOAL is obsolete
Any help is appreciated.

I tried to import the dmp file to Designer 9i Version 9.0.2.91.9 Release 9.0.2.4 and the import is successful after enabling Version Support.
I did the same using Designer 10g but with the import error.
I am going to export the repository from Designer 9i after import from the dmp file and see if the re-export dmp file can be imported into Designer 10g.

  • Importing forrage from an online library?

Hi, I want to buy footage from an online library and edit it in iMovies to use on a big screen on stage here in the UK. What format should I buy the footage in? The options seem to be HD1080, HD1070, NTSC, Multimedia.

I would guess that your best option would be HD 1080, which represents an aspect ratio of 1920 x 1080 (16:9) - the pixel sizes for a Full HD widescreen television. Never heard of HD1070. As you are in the UK, the PAL standard will apply - not NTSC, which is used mainly in the USA and Japan. Multimedia could mean anything, unless further described.
iMovie '09 will import 1920 x 1080 clips, provided they are in a format supported by iMovie. If not, you will need to convert them to a suitable format using a free program such as MPEG Streamclip.
By the way - welcome to the forum Brooksy1.

  • I cannot close or import or any function to iphoto.  I have been getting the same message for many days "Photos are being imported to the photo library.  Please wait for import to complete."  I do not know where the photos would be importing from.

I cannot close or import or any function to iphoto.  I have been getting the same message for many days "Photos are being imported to the photo library.  Please wait for import to complete."  I do not know where the photos would be importing from.  How do I get it to proceed?

After Force Quitting, as LarryHN recommended,
Select the iPhoto Library in the Finder. By default it is in your Pictures folder.
Ctrl-click or right-click the iPhoto lIbrary. Select "Show package contents" from the panel, that will pop up.
Look for a folder named "Importing" or "Import". Remove this folder, but don't touch anything else.
    Then launch iPhoto again.
If iPhoto now is working again, check the folder you removed, if there are any photos that you want to keep and save them.

  • "The iTunes Library.itl file cannot be found or created."

I have tried all to suggestions for moving around the old library and this is still the only thing I have gotten from the upgrade, as of yet. The message appears when trying to get into iTunes thu any source; desktop shortcut, thu the start menu, or opening the library directly in the My Music folder.
    The full message reads:
"The iTunes Library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "My Music" folder."
I half expected a problem when i was told to upgrade, but I have got no idea how to fix this one. Any help would be great.

Will iTunes open at all or do you just get the error message and when you click 'ok' the dialog box closes?
I have successfully restored my library using the iTunes Music Library.xml file, which I figured out by messing around. If you want you can try this; note that it takes a really long time:
    1. With iTunes closed open the My Music>iTunes folder (if for some reason you had iTunes set up to use a different folder look in there). Move the 'iTunes Library.itl' file out of the folder onto your desktop, but don't delete it unless this restore works.
    2. Open iTunes; it should be empty. Go to File>Import. When the box opens you should be in the same iTunes folder; select the 'iTunes Music Library.xml' file.
    3. The library will rebuild itself, which takes a long time (I think it took an hour when I did it and I have about 25GB), but just let it go. Don't stop the process or try to close iTunes while it's doing this. You should eventually get all your songs and playlists back, but I don't remember if playcounts restore this way; you might lose those.
    4. Close iTunes - it should now save the new 'iTunes Library.itl' file. Then try opening iTunes again - hope this will work for you! If it does you can just delete the old 'iTunes Library.itl' file. If it doesn't you can move that old file back to where it was, and you'll be back to where you were before.
Normally when the iTunes library.itl file gets corrupted you can replace it with an older version from the 'Previous iTunes Library' folder, but it sounds like you've already tried that and it didn't work. If this really is a registry issue I don't know how to fix that - maybe reinstalling iTunes?
ps - I always export my library before upgrading now, because restoring from that if you have a library problem is a lot faster and it only takes a few extra seconds.

I had to erase my hard drive and then reinstall everything back from my passport external hard drive. Now my iPhoto edit is not working. I get a blank screen when I want to edit. The photos show up in the library but I cannot edit them. Help?

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
*1. Permissions in the Library* : Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
*2. Minor Database corruption*: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
*3. A Damaged Photo*: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
*4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache*: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
*5. A corrupted preference file*: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    If none of these help:
    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

I think the reasoning behind this is: If we deploy it from the Application tab, it deploys the EAR file whereas simply right clicking the project and deploy, deploys the WAR file.

  • Oracle JDBC Library

    Hello all,
I have just installed the new jdev version 11.1.1.0.2 and I seem to be missing some libraries, in particular the Oracle JDBC library. I don't seem to be able to add it using "check for updates ...". I can be wrong but I believe that library was included in the previous version, any ideas?
    Regards,
    wf

Taking a look to the Oracle JDBC library definition, it states that the javadoc should be available at some directory but it is not. Any ideas what went wrong? I can access the javadoc online but it would be nice to do it from jdev, it safes time!
    Thanks,

  • ITunes Library.itl file cannot be found or created! What to do?

After downloading the latest iTunes version 7.4, I cannot access the program anymore nor open any of my music files. Each time I try, I receive a persistent message saying that the "iTunes Library.itl file cannot not be found or created".
Can someone please advise me what to do?
    Many thanks,
    Guido
    E-mail: [email protected]

Hi Guido - I saw in the other post that you tried using the old library file and it didn't work. I think from what you described you do still have the .itl file - the icon on mine is the itunes logo (disc w/ blue music notes) with the word 'DATA' below that, and it's named 'itunes library.' If you just see little icons it will be the blue music notes on a little piece of paper with the same title. Then when you right-click and go to 'properties' it says the type of file is 'iTunes Music Database File.'
When you renamed the old library file, did you add the .itl at the end? If you did, try erasing the .itl part and just leaving it named as 'itunes library' and try opening itunes again. If you didn't add the .itl at the end, try adding it and see if it will open.
Also try the other suggestion above and see if you can open that file and/or the file in the 'previous itunes library' folder.
Another option of you still can't get it to work is to just move that database file out of the itunes folder onto your desktop, then try opening itunes again and see if it will at least open. Again, leave the 'itunes music library' file (the .xml one) in the itunes folder (by the way, the icon for that looks like a piece of paper with a little ball or globe between these: < and >)
If itunes opens and your music files show up, cool! If it opens and you don't see your music files, try going to File>Import... and try to import the 'itunes music library' file. Just be aware that if you have a lot of music it will take awhile; don't hit 'stop' but let it do it's thing.
Let us know if you got it to work or not - there may still be other things to try.

  • Oracle Online backup limitations

    Hi,
We are using oracle 10g for SAP.
    1. In which situation oracle Online consistent backup is not useful.
    2. In a situation all online relog groups are corrupted. Is it possible recovery with online consistent backup ?
    3. In which recovery situation offline backup is good than online backup?
    Regards,
    Nani

    Hi,
    2. In a situation all online relog groups are corrupted.
Is it possible recovery with online consistent backup ?
Online Consistent backup only contains the offline redo log files created during a backup run. One can not get any online redo log group members from such online consistent backup. If all online redo logs are corrupted/loss then in such situation instance recovery is not possible and only incomplete partial /point-in-time recovery is possible. If the mirrored online redo log files is available then its possible to perform instance recovery.

  • Library.xml failing to fully import

    Hello
I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and uninstalled iTunes as per the recommendation of the Win7 Upgrade advisor. I exported my library before I uninstalled and copied the entire iTunes folder to a new drive.
After the upgrade, I reinstalled iTunes (9.0.3.15) and set the new folder in the new drive as the location of the library. Next, I closed iTunes, removed the iTunes music library.xml file from my users\username\music\itunes\ folder, then imported the xml file that had been exported before the upgrade.
About half-way through the import I get an error "The file 'iTunes Music Library.xml' cannot be imported. An Unknown error occured (-50)."
I can import all my music using the Add Folder option, but I have been using iTunes for 6 years and have many ratings and custom playlists that I would like to retain - most of them were manual playlists. My music library is 95GB and almost 10,000 songs. All this metadata is (presumably), in the xml file.
Does anyone know if it is possible to correct this issue. I would hate to lose 6 years of ratings and personalisation efforts.
    Thanks for any help.
    Mark

I have also tried editing the xml file so that the source of the files reflects their current location on the PC. I have also tried importing a library I saved about a week before the one I am presently trying to import. I get the same error message.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, deleting the iTunes media folder in user\username\ before reinstalling.
I have tried setting a new location for the library and allowing the import to copy the files to the new location.
    All produce the same error.
The fact this is happening with different xml files indicates the xml may not be corrupted?
