Oracle Performace Management link to Payroll
Hi,
I wish to get a better understanding of how Oracle Performance management can be linked to Oracle payroll. I am reading the Oracle manual which states the Performance management workflow process can:
'creates or updates the appraisee's learning path, and creates a Performance Review event, which in turn can transfer theoverall rating and other data to other modules such as Compensation Workbench'.
Unfortunatly there isnt any further information on how this works . Can anyone elaborate on how the outcome of the perfiormance management process can be intergrated into payroll. Is there anystandard functionality avaliable to achieve this which I am unaware of?

Error with Oracle Workflow Manager
Hi
Oracle workflow has just been installed on my first middle tier from the Content management SDK 9.0.4 CD.
( I have also an old working installation on the second middle tier, pointing to an old database 9.2.0.2)
When I click on the Oracle Workflow Manager link in the oracle enterprise manager console

at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:534)Hi, I have tried in two separate environments to create a new workflow farm and am getting the same error. I have already installed the Feb CU for both workflow manager and the service bus. I rebooted all servers after installing.
I noticed a message in the UI saying "Configuration operation failed. Please drop databases and use ‘Create a New Farm’ again." When I look in SQL Management Studio no databases have been created. The new farm wizard fails on the first step.
Any ideas on a fix for this? Changing the format of the account as above didn't work for me. I am using a SQL alias on my server, would this cause any problems? When I test the connection to the DB from the wizard all tests pass. -
Remove 'Side Navigation link' in oracle irecruitment manager

I have repeated tried to remove a Side Navigation Link container holding: New Vacancy and New Offer Link in Oracle iRecruitment Manager.
Responsibility: iRecruitment Manager, I want these two links disable, i have tried rendering it False but nothing.
How do I disable this region so that it does not show, please help.

Our environment details are
OIm 11.1.1.5.0 and SOA 11.1.1.5.0
DB: Oracle 11.2
OS: Linux redhat 5 x86_64bit
AppServer: Weblogic 10.3.5 (64 bit)
We are upgrading oim 9.1 to oim 11.1.1.5, followed the tasks explained in the link (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/upgrade.1111/e10129/upgrade_oim.htm#CACGDIEJ) and completed till task 12 (13.14 Task 12: Use Upgrade Assistant to Upgrade Oracle Identity Manager Middle Tier). Unable to start Oracle Process Manager from the windows services for OBIEE
Hi,
I have OBIEE 11g installed on a 32-bit windows machine. Of the two windows services installed, I am unable to start the Oracle Process Manager. When I try to start it I get the following error:
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
At the back end, this service is calling the file opmn.exe which is placed at MIDDLEWAREHOME\Oracle_BI1\opmn\bin. On trying to execute this file the error we get is:
The procedure entry point longjmp could not be located in the dynamic link library orauts.dll
I have tried replacing the orauts.dll file, but to no avail.
Please let me know if you have any clue regarding what is to be done.

This error occurs for the following reasons,
*Path variable is not set properly
*Multiple Oracle homes exists in the same machine.
Follow the below steps and let me know if it works,
1. Select My Computer -> Right Click -> Properties
2. In the System Properties screen go to Advanced Tab
3. Click on Environment Variables
4. In the System Variables section select PATH variable & Click edit
5. Now you will find that it will contain invalid directories. Remove the incorrect entries. This may happen when you have multiple oracle homes in the same machine
6. Restart the service.

I was recently tasked with branding an OIM instance to match pretty stringent branding standards. To accomplish this task, I extended the fusion theme which is provided out of the box into a new custom skin. In the example below, I took the design as far as I could, which required decently advanced css knowledge; however, even a novice web designer could easily make simple updates to the backgrounds and fonts which would also greatly enhance the user experience.
Utilizing FireBug for Firefox, I inspected elements of the OIM interface to see which div's I needed to modify in the css file. You can edit as little or as many elements as you'd like in your custom skin; however, I'd recommend preserving the primary elements original placements to avoid confusion for users that are already used to an out of the box version of OIM.

Notes regarding the Oracle tutorial mentioned above:

Installing Oracle Access Manager - 11.1.1.5

I am very new to Identity Management and have been trying to set Oracle Access Manager in Windows XP.
Downloaded ofm_iam_generic_11.1.1.5.0_disk1_1.zip from OTN.
I cannot find the RCU for 11.1.1.5 version from the website directly. All I could see is only RCU for 11.1.1.3 and 11.1.1.2 version.
Can anyone send me the download link for RCU 11.1.1.5 and step by step installation guide for setting up Oracle Access Manager.
I tried creating OAM Domain after installing IDM Suite and running RCU 11.1.1.3 version.
When I run the WebLogic and OAM server I am getting error
Caused By: oracle.security.am.common.policy.admin.PolicyManagerException: oracle.security.am.c
policy.admin.PolicyManagerException: OAMSSA-06251: Unsupported policy store version detected.

Do you have OAM 11.1.1.3 running and now you wish to upgrade it to 11.1.1.5 or
You wish to install new 11.1.1.5 ?
If this is later then better you should use 11.1.1.5 RCU to create schema as this is straight and easy process with no upgrade.

How do I install Oracle Configuration Manager in oracle Fusion - discoverer 11i

I need some guidance to install Oracle Configuration Manager.
I have just successfully installed Oracle Fusion - following "Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0) (Part Number E10421-07)" without OCM. I have EBS 12.1.3 and rdbms 11.2.0 on the same server.

When I open the Oracle Enterprise Manager console, I am not able to see the SSL port. I found that Accessibility Mode is Disabled. Please help me to enable the accessibility mode and also to find SSL port.I tried giving the ssl ports 1810 - 1829. it did not work out. I am trying to access the URL https://localhost:1829/b2b/transportServlet. Any one has idea about how to enable the SSL port in the Oracle Enterprise Manager.

save file, them delete directories /u01/app/oracle/* and /tmp/* and try again

Oracle vm manager 3.3.1 can't discover the server which one has reinstall system
It couldn't to import the iso file to the Repositories,and I doubt that the nfs which it created by the disks of ovm server has some problem .So the ovm
server has reinstalled system.
There's the log from the ovm server on /var/log/ovs-agent.log

The net is that the initial support for Oracle VM Manager with Oracle VM Server for SPARC only supports NFS for repository (and virtual disks). A later release will permit virtual disks from FC SAN, iSCSI, and local disk as well as NFS. The linked not provides more information and a link to beta code. regards, Jeff -

There is some document that tells me the tables used by Oracle Identity Manager 11g, and how they are linked.
Very grateful for your helpThis does not exist for 11g. Only 9.x has a database diagram. Most the tables are the same, it's just the request side that is new due to the SOA integration.
