Hi Freidns ,
I am new to Oracel Product hub , I have taken training from Oracle on Oracle Product Information management , and I am in a project where we have to work on Oracle Product Information Management and Oracle Product Hub (data Hub ) .
Kindly suggest me any link from where I can get documentation for Data Hub , I have done deep study in Oracle PIM but need to study about OPH oracle Product hub (data Hub)

There are 3 columns involved with that table . Out of whihc one is a Primary Key (string) , The other column (Number) has a unique key constraint defined on it and the last column stores a value corresponding to the 2nd column.
The reason for me to do a create in the Finder exception is as follows.
I Loop through the Data present in JTable. As given in the example let us assume that there are 2 rows in the JTable. Out of whihc the First row needs an updation and the second row , which is a new row needs to be created. So During the First iteration of the loop, The findermethod does not throw any exception (Because it is a modfied row) and hence the update gets fired successfully. During the second iteration , since it is a new row the findermethod will throw a finder exception and hence create will get fired.
I understand that this is not a good coding style but then it is not 100% wrong and i need to find out as to why it is not working.

We are trying to develop and API so that in WEB ADI we can extrcproduct ctalogue data nd directly load it in to WEB ADI Interface tabel so that it directly load data in to data base .
Instead of extracting from one environment and load in other environment.
please help me to find out about Interface tabels used for WEBADI.

Thanks for your response. Two of the links do not work.
All I really need to know for sure is that R12 supports open interface tables.
Perhaps I didn't use the embedded R12 iRep correctly - the standard view by product family certainly didn't show any open interface table, and they did not appear in the 'interface type' drop down list. However, I notice from an example on the web that you can pivot the results by interface type. I will try that when the environment becomes available again.

I know this sounds dumb.... but I've searched the OTN Downloads, and Edelivery but where can I go to download a trial version of Oracle Customer Hub (OCH) and Oracle Product Hub (OPH)?

You can only find the Customer Data Hub (CDH) & Product Information Management (PIM) in Oracle supplied patches. Try to login to metalink and find the relevant information. Following are some information on CDH & PIM installation. Hope this helps:
Customer Data Hub Installation
The Customer Data Hub solution is a composite of core Trading Community Architecture (TCA) functionality as well as the Oracle Customers Online (OCO) and Customer Data Librarian (CDL) applications. In order to gain the most benefits out of the Customer Data Hub, it is recommended that implementing organizations install the 11i10 Financials Family Pack G as well as the latest TCA and Oracle Customers Online/Oracle Customer Data Librarian patch sets. These releases have been optimized for the Customer Data Hub.
The following two sections outline the optimal and minimum baselines for implementing the Customer Data Hub. Note that as CDH functionality is continually enhanced throughout future releases, the recommended baseline will be modified to reflect the latest in CDH patch set levels.

There is no comparable list for Product Information Management Data Hub (PIMDH), because that entity is only a license mechanism to gain the right to install PIM DL on a non E-Business Suite (EBS) instance. You do not install anything under a license of PIM DH,
you install only PIM DL.
You will need to install PLM family pack 'E' (Patchset 11i.PLM_PF.E - 4203793) on top of the 11.5.10 installation (11.5.10 contains family pack 'C'), for DNA to show up in the License Manager, and for you to 'activate' it for your install.

Difference between Oracle Customer Hub and Hyperion Data Relationship Manag

Hi,
I need integrate diferents data bases and eliminate information redundancy. I think Hyperion Data Relationship Management can help me to acomplish with the task. But i know there is another product named Oracle Customer Hub than can help me too.
Does anybody know the difference between this tools?
Which one its the more appropiate for me?

FCH was a product launched by Oracle to counter Hyperion Financial Management. However, it is not a proven tool. HFM has a very good market standing coupled with its other reporting capabilities. Also, HFM is a industry leader now.
Financial Consolidation Hub will be removed from the Oracle E-Business Suite Component. FCH will not be included with Release 12.1. This is why, customers are advised to move to Hyperion Financial Management.
An automatic migration utility from FCH to HFM has not been implemented. FCH customers who wish to implement Hyperion Financial Management will have to install the application and complete the implementation process manually.

Hyperion DRM for Oracle Customer Hub v11.1.2.1 release?

Product Hub PIP & Guaranteed Delivery

Hello,
Question: How does the integration scenario for Product Hub PIP ensure 'Guaranteed Delivery'.
The question has arisen because if we look at the AIA Developer's Guide - it advises that for async one-way flow there is an 'Asynchronous Message Exchange Pattern'. This pattern proposes integration scenarios should utilize Queue/Topic (at the end of an milestone) to persist the message - which in turn ensures 'Guaranteed Delivery' & 'Scalability'.
But if we look at the design of the Product Hub PIP, we do not see any queue/topic in the business process flow for product. So how to ensure that if PIP is used as integration between Product Hub and E-Biz Suite, then all messages published from PIM will always reach E-Biz Suite.
Any efforts to explain this are appreciated.

Here are the steps to follow on edelivery. For example if you need the FP and PIPs for AIA 2.5 Linux x86
1. Step 1: select the product pack - Oracle Application Integration Architecture
platform: Linux x86
2. Step 2: select Oracle Application Integration Architecture Release 2.5 Media Pack for Linux x86
3. Step 3: Download part number V18465-01 - Oracle Application Integration Architecture Release 2.5 Linux x86
4. Step 4: Additionally you will need to download all patches for this PIP and other infrastructure components required such as SOA Suite, database etc.

ODEQ is tool which we are using for data cleansing and its oracle Product .
In order install Oracle Enterprise Data Quality 11G we required "Weblogic server"
I did installation of Weblogic server 12C but when i tried to install ODEQ its not allow me complete the installation.
it it giving an error message "INST-07248:specified Middleware home location is not valid location"

Hi,
Probably a mistake in your dads.conf file.
( Also check the APEX_PUBLIC_USER in the dads.conf file )

Can we install Multiple Oracle Products for Development and Testing on a Single Server?
Oracle Database 9i Enterprise Edition.
Oracle 9i Application Server
Oracle Applications 11i (Financials GL,HRMS PAYROLL)
Oracle Discoverer 4.x
Oracle Internet Developer Suite (Forms Server, Reports Server,

Do they need to be in separate ORACLE_HOME or same ?
Also what should be the sequence of Install, i.e. what should be installed first?

The following products needs to be in their own Oracle Home:
Oracle Database 9i Enterprise Edition. --> in its own O_H
Oracle 9i Application Server --> in its own O_H (assuming this is 1.0.2.2 or 9.0.2)
Oracle Applications 11i (Financials GL,HRMS PAYROLL) --> in its own O_H
Oracle Discoverer 4.x --> in its own O_H (this is a 806 based product btw)
Oracle Internet Developer Suite (Forms Server, Reports Server) --> This can either be in its own O_H or in the O_H which has 1.0.2.2 Oracle9i Application Server.

I am in middle of Oracle 10.2.0.3 pachest installation and getting this error:

Pl identify exact version of "10g" you are trying to install. Are you following all of the steps in the Install Guide ? Pl post the last 50 lines from the install log file

Oracle Product Workbench - connection issue with EBS 12.1.3

Hi,
we've upgraded EBS to 12.1.3 and our Product Workbench is no longer able to retrieve the organization info from the server. We're checking the Packet details in Network Statistics in that case an also when View Concurrent Requests is opened and the server sends back the login page. So apparently PWB cannot log in to the server and is requested to enter credentials.
Apache response is:

The issue was a "_" char in the hostname.This must be changed as is not IETF-compliant and therefore not a supported character and is known to cause problems. Refer RFC 952 (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc0952.txt) for more information. This is also documented in Microsoft article Q275033 "Cookies Are Not Saved If the Host Name Is Invalid", this feature was introduced from IE 5.01 SP1 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;275033

I tested login with sqlplus apex_public_user/apex and that works fine. The page comes up fine but the gif files are missing and this what what I see in the error log file.

I have added the include line in the http.conf pointing to the marvel.conf.

omg ! where is this documented. I have uninstalled OH , reinstalled it 3 - 4 times.
Infact I even dowloaded the apex zip file 2 times thinking something went wrong while downloading.
That worked for me.. thanks a lot Maxim.
