Oracle property manager

I am calculating rent increase schedules on property manager and i am stuck on two cases
scenarion 1
Rent is 200K per year
rent increase is 10% per year (compound)
service charge is constatnt at 50K per year for the whole lease period.
scenario 2
rent is 200k per year
rent increase: 10% for the first 5 years, 15% for the remainder of the period.
service charge varies and is determined every year.
assume the lease period is 2008 - 2020
kindly let me know how to input these details in the system so that the correct payment chedules are generated every year.

I would like to know more about your experience with Oracle Property Manager. I have a recent client requirement to implement this (i.e. Variable rent) along with CPI rent.
I you can, please reply to [email protected]

Renwick

Individuals who come forward voluntarily to help others here are from different capacity of knowledge and awareness. In addition, the OP should be considerate enough to understand the posters who come up to answer may be also occupied with the retrospective official and personal obligations which may also lead to non-availability.
As long as the posted question is familiar with to the individuals coming up to help, obviously there is no doubt we will help as long as it is provided that we are not personally obliged with some other works. But there may also be certain areas where each and every volunteers are aware of. This could be the probable reason which keeps certain answers unanswered. But you may also raise an SR in case you urgently require resolution.

  • Need help on Oracle Property Manager

    Hi there
Can someone send me some documentation around Import validations in OPM around space assignments and locations?

    Hi,
You have the pn_locations_itf, PN_SPACE_ALLOC_ITF and PN_SPACE_ASSIGN_LOC_ITF interface to handle the location and space import in property manager.
Load the PN_LOCATIONS_ITF table and then kick off the import program.
If you need to look at the validations, then open up the below package.
    pn_cad_import.IMPORT_CAD

  • Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent deployment (Installation and Configuration) Error

    Hello,
I am trying to create an agent on a linux server using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.3. The user is created with root privilege on the server, by change /etc/sudoers entry username the same as the root entry. After that I tried to add host target by clicking Setup->Add Target->Add target Manually->Add Host Targets in the Oracle Enterprise Manager.
In the Add Target view: I clicked on add, then I entry host and platform information. After that I click next. Then I provided the Linux x86-64 : Installation Details for
Installation Base Directory, Instance Directory, Name Credential ... then click next. then click Deploy Agent.
In the Add Host Status view: stages Initialization and Remote Prerequisite Check successfully passed, but in the stage Agent Deployment, it failed in the Installation and Configuration phrase of the Agent Deployment stage.
The log content is shown below. There are numerous SEVERE Errors. But I don't have much experience in dealing with these type of problems. I thank you in advance for all the helps.

       Hello AkankshaSheoranKaler
We have done the following, but we aren't able to resolve this issue. Thank you for your help!
    lf
“This  happen if the software library is not accessible, readable or unmounted (if it is in shared file system).”
On Enterprise Manager server [nsn175-105], we did the following:
    1. we modified /etc/exports to include this line: /export *(rw,no_root_squash,sync)
we start nfs service by executing command “service nfs start”.
On Management Agent server (nsn175-89), we verified that we are able to mount /export directory of EM server.
On Management Agent server, we started firefox browser and were able to run successfully https://nsn175-105.us.oracle.com:4904/empbs/genwallet
After making this change, we ran agent deployment again. We encountered the same error as shown above.
“You can fix the software library or you can download the agent bits in offline mode.”
For fixing the software library, select Setup->Provision and Patching->Offline Patching, then select Offline Patching radio button, download: https://updates.oracle.com/download/em_catalog.zip. Next upload this zip file.
    “Try downloading the bits again”
We are not sure what agent bits are. Would you please explain this and provide procedure how we can download this?
(Here I have attempted to fix the software library, but I am new to Enterprise Manager and not sure how to interpret this).

    ORACLE NETWORK MANAGER 기본적인 사용방법
    ========================================
    I. TERMINOLOGY TO KNOW BEFORE USING THIS GUIDE
    A. community - a set of nodes that use the same network protocol.
    B. listener - a service that waits for incoming requests from client
    and server nodes.
    C. system identifier - (SID) name of the Oracle database instance,
which is usually the same as the database name
    II. NETWORK CONFIGURATION STEPS
    A. Develop a pictorial representation of the network.
    B. Provide configuration data to Network Manager.
    C. Save the network configuration data and generate the configuration files.
Step A. Develop a pictorial representation of the network.
The sample network is a single protocol TCP/IP network with two
databases. Each node has one listener.
Step B. Provide configuration data to Network Manager.
Network Manager requires information about the objects in the
network before it creates the configuration files. There is an
on-line walk-through which leads you through the creation of a
network definition from the beginning (specification of definitions)
to the end (generation of the configuration files). The walk-through
provides information in pop-up boxes before each step. During the
walk through, a series of object property sheets, which gather the
data about network objects, appear with values which you may need
    to alter.
    ** Tasks **
    1. Launch Network Manager and click OK to store the network definition
in a file. In the Open window click Cancel.
    2. Choose New from the File pull-down menu to start a new network
definition. Use the on-line walk through and click OK in the Network
    Description dialog box.
    3. In the Community property sheet, enter TCP as the name of the
community and choose TCP/IP from the protocol list box. Close the
community property sheet by clicking OK.
    4. a. To define a node, enter the node name, TCP_node1, in the Node
    property sheet.
    b. Specify UNIX as the type of operating system in the drop-down
    list.
    c. Click on the community folder tab. Add TCP.WORLD to the node
community list (Note:WORLD is a default suffix) and close the
node property sheet by clicking OK.
    5. Click OK to close the Node property sheet. To create the node,
TCP_node2, repeat step 4 and specify the type to be OS/2.
    6. Create a listener in the Listener property sheet, by entering
TCP_listener1 as the name and choosing TCP_node1 in the node
pull-down menu to indicate what node TCP_listener1 will listen to.
Select the addresses folder tab and click Create. This defines the
address of the listener. A service address property sheet appears
with the address information as default values. Click OK.
    7. Click the database folder tab to define a database for the listener.
In the Database property sheet, click Create to specify information
about the Oracle database that will be included in the network.
Enter TCP_DB1 as the name of the database. Click TCP_node1 as the
node. Enter the SID: db1. In the Operating System Specific Details
field, enter the directory path of the Oracle executables, i.e.
/usr/oracle for Unix or c:\oraos2\ for OS/2. Click OK to close the
    Database property sheet.
    8. Click OK to close the listener property sheet. To create
    TCP_listener2, repeat steps 6-7 and substitute TCP_node2, TCP_DB2,
and db2 for the node, database, and SID, respectively.
Note: The on-line walk-through automatically validates the network configuration.
Step C. Save the network configuration data and generate configuration files.
    1. Save the network definition.
    2. Click File System in the Export Network Definition dialog box and
click OK. Choose the directory and click OK. The network definition
is now complete and the configuration files are generated.
    III. OTHER INFORMATION
    A. About the configuration files
If the network definition is saved to the file system,
Network Manager creates two types of subdirectories within the
directory chosen to store the network definition.
These are: a node specific directory, which has the same name as the
node and contact configuration files for the service the node provides,
and a client profile directory, which has the same name as the client
community and contains configuration files for each client.
    B. Hardware and Software Requirements
PC with 6Mb disk, IBM or 100% compatible with an 80386 processor
    or higher one CD-ROM drive
MS-DOS Version 5.0 or later and Windows 3.1

    Hi Steve,
    1) PL/SQL API for Network Analysis is coming in Oracle 10g Release 2.
    2) In Oracle 10g Release 1 it is a requirement to load the entire network. Loading the entire street network of new york city on my 1 Ghz laptop requires about 1 minute. In Oracle 10g Release 2 you can specify a predicate on the load network so you do not have to load the entire network.
    3) Source code for elocation will be available as an Oracle 10g Release 2 feature (I'm not sure what the "name" of the feature is, but it is a bundling of geocoding and routing, and when combined with MapViewer is a complete "elocation in a box" type of feature.
    Hope this helps.

  • Difference between Oracle Enetrprise Manager 10.1.2. and 10.1.3

We have J2EE application deployed on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.
For setting up and deploying application we use Enterprise manager.
We are intending to upgrade onto version 10.1.3. At the beginning we
tried new Enterprise manager. We are unpleasantly surprised how different
    new version is.
For start, we need to solve two things:
    1. In defined datasource we had oracle Property
NLS_SORT - Czech for making database sort the right way. If we tried to put this property
in new Enterprise manager (Under Data Source, Properties), this is called:
    An error has occurred.
"No such property: NLS_SORT, existing writable properties are: [TNSEntryName, URL, connectionCacheName..."
Where to put it now ? Can it be done at all?
    2. How to define java parameters ?
In old version, there were Server Properties, Command Line Options, Java Options
In new version we couldn't find any gui interface to define this. We googled, that ompn.xml
must be modified. Strange way to improve...
And finally we tried latest OAS installation available, the http:\\localhost\em address was not working at all.
Are we doing something wrong ? Thanks.

  • RE: Oracle Enterprise Manager Extensibility 10g Release 4 (10.2.0.4) Guide

    Hi:
    - I have a question about the SNMP Receivelet code in this guide:
    Oracle® Enterprise Manager Extensibility
    10g Release 4 (10.2.0.4)
    Part Number B40007-01
    - Basically I copied the SNMP Receivelet code from the guide into a plug-in.
I was able to load the plug-in without any error messages, but no alerts are raised
    when I send a trap.
    - Could someone please tell me what port the snmp receivelet listens on?
    - I tried ports: 3002, 1830, 3872 and 8002.
    - Port 3002 was obtained from emd.properties
    - Port 1830 was obtained from the OEM console
    - What condition is necessary for agent to receive SNMP traps?
    - My agent environment is:

  • Property Manager: PN_LEASE_MILESTONES_ALL (Check Event Alert)

Hi,. I tried to configure the Check Event Alert to Property Manager (PN_LEASE_MILESTONE_ALL), in the documentation , I read that I must configurate ORACLE ALERT, but  I don´t find some documentation about it.
I did an Event Alert, but i cant merge the Milestone Template with Alert, by that I mean when the table PN_LEASE_MILESTONE_ALL is updated or inserts rows, the notifications email is ok, but any information about the template uses:
    Action Due Date
    Lead Days.
    Responsible User
    Type
    Frequency
    Begin Date
    So, Can you help me?

Can you find any details about the error from the "View Detail" button (the same window where you check the log and output files)?
I found the Workflow logs, I am not sure what I am looking for, but i am not seeing any errors reported. The event viewer is supposed to send an email, so do you see anything in the logs that could be related?
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Creation of PO's from Oracle Order Management

    Required Business Scenario
Customer orders are received via the internet and imported into Oracle Order Management via an open interface table. The customer orders are processed by Oracle OM and converted to Purchase Orders which are then sent to suppliers (as no stock is held at our site). Goods are then shipped directly to the customer by the supplier. We take a commission for the service offered.
    Problem
As we take a commission for the service described above, the value of the Purchase Order will be different to the value of the original order received via Order Management, however Oracle Purchasing does not allow you to place a Purchase Order on a percentage basis terms. (we will take a small commission as a percentage of the value of the original order meaning the value of the Purchase Order will be slightly less than the value of the original order). The following scenario attempts to explain the situation:
Order received via Oracle Order Management
    5 units @ $20 = $100
Purchase Order created from above order (required scenario)
    5 units @ $19.70 = $ 98.5
    Our commission @ 1.5% = $ 1.5
Has anyone encountered this scenario before? If so I would appreciate assistance in how to resolve this issue. How can we create a Purchase Order from the order received via Order Management which will have a different value and allows us to take a percentage as commission?
    Thanks

exact same requirement. Did you ever receive any replys related
to this issue? If so would you be so kind as to forward them to

order received via Order Management, however Oracle Purchasing
does not allow you to place a Purchase Order on a percentage
basis terms. (we will take a small commission as a percentage of
the value of the original order meaning the value of the
Purchase Order will be slightly less than the value of the
original order). The following scenario attempts to explain the
situation:>Order received via Oracle Order Management>5 units @
$20 = $100>Purchase Order created from above order (required
    scenario)>5 units @ $19.70 = $ 98.5>Our commission @ 1.5% = $
1.5>Has anyone encountered this scenario before? If so I would
appreciate assistance in how to resolve this issue. How can we
create a Purchase Order from the order received via Order
Management which will have a different value and allows us to
    take a percentage as commission?>Thanks >null

  • Unable to log-in in Oracle Identity Manager Design Console

    Hello,
I successfully installed OIM9.1.0.1 Identity Manager on Jboss4.2.3.GA App server and could login to OIM using http://llocalhost:8080/xlWebApp on my window Server 2003 system without any problem.
Then I installed the Design Console on my window XP system. However, after successfully installing the Design Console, I could not login using the xelsysadm user ID.
I checked to make sure that xlconfig.xml contains the right URL file under oim_designConsole directories.
The error I get from the Design Console login window is:
    Internal Login
Oracle Identity Manager Design Console Could not log you in.
In the dos-command window, I got the error:

copy the log4j.jar from JBOSS folder - JBOSS/server/default
Paste the file in client folder with original log4j-1.2.8.jar
    Rename log4j.jar file to log4j-1.2.8.jar
