    Gautam,
Check the profile option i.e. is to set the default order status while it is created from Quote.

  • Import quote sales order with 'Pending Internal Approval' status.

    Hi,
I’m trying to import a quote sales order using the oracle Order Import request, the order was imported with status 'Draft'.
Is there any way to import the quote sales order with 'Pending Internal Approval'?
or any API to change the Quote Status from 'Draft' to 'Pending Internal Approval'?
    Thank You In Advance.

No in standard, there is no such TCodes.  You have to develop a zee report considering the tables VBBE (for open order quantity) and MARD (storage location wise stocks)

  • Oracle quoting

    Hello
    we are on 11510, and using forms quoting - during a CRP the following questions arised;
    - if I make a quote , with 3 items on there, and want to convert in an order, how can I select line 1 and 2 to be put on an order, (as the customer is not interested in line 2)
    - if I have different quotes for the same customer, how can we combine them to one order ?
    - apparently the salesperson on the quote is not defaulted from the customer, how to achieve that ?
    - can we put customer item numbers on a quote..
thank you if you would be able to shed some light on there!

    Hello Narayanan,
Reference: Oracle® Quoting Implementation Guide Release 12.1 (Part No. E13462-04)
There are several profiles that impact security in Oracle Quoting.
Check the following profile options for the Quoting responsibility -
    MO: Security Profile --
This should be set to the same value as the iStore cusotmer user responsibility (or to a value that includes that Operating Unit).
Oracle Applications uses the profile MO: Security Profile to link an operating unit to a
responsibility. This is a flexible security profile which allows a responsibility access to
one or more operating units without having to switch between responsibilities. It can be
set to any value based on the operating units in the organization.
    ASO: Enable Security Check
Determines whether Quote Access Security is enabled. Quote Access Security
determines which quotes users can access and at what levels.
If set to Yes, users can access only those quotes belonging to a sales team they or one of
their subordinates belong to. Limits user's access level as well.
If set to No, users have update access to all quotes.
If null, a value of No is assumed.
Note: If this profile is set to No, you should not set other security
profiles, as they do not work when security is turned off.
    ASO: New Quote Security
Controls the user's ability to create new quotes.
If set to Yes, the user cannot create new standalone quotes unless the quote is created
    from an opportunity.
If set to No, the user can create new standalone quotes. They can copy existing quotes to
new quotes and create quotes from opportunities.
    ASN: Customer Access Privilege
Determines the customers to display for a Quote To Customer, Quote to Account, and Customer searches.
    Thank you,

  • See R/3 Quotes and Orders in CRM 7.0 front end

    Hi friends,
Assuming if a new CRM system is being setup, and we connect it to backend ECC sytem - Can we see in CRM the already created Quotes and Orders for a given Customer Account in R/3.
After the CRM  system is setup, all the customer master accounts from R3 are replicated to CRM system.
How to meet the above requirement.

    Sadhu

    Hi,
you can either download the existing orders from R/3 with the download object SALESDOCUMENT or you can connect an ERP system to access ECC data directly (see note 1236015 for restrictions and http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/90/725d22d2c049a8ada480ea3939c53e/content.htm, http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/45/73b94278560c31e10000000a1550b0/content.htm,

  • What are the things that need to be done before creating quote and order

    Hi guys
We have installed ECC and just for testing purpose we want to enter some basic data starting from creating couple of customers, department, quote and order.
Is there a simple way (steps) to follow.
The reason for asking this question is that we don't know where to start.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ram

    Hello,
If your organisational structrues are perfect, then check with MM and FI team for their opinion. If everything is right, then create customers, maintain pricing condition.
Try to create a sales order or quotation. Save it, check for any errors, rectify it, then proceed for delivery.
Follow simple process first, pick the delivery and do the PGI.
Create a billing document, and check it is posting correctly.
This is one process cycle. analyse for errors and modifications.

  • In-list: does oracle follow the order of the items in the in-list?

We have a partition table, each partition has one day's data. And we are using 4 partitions, every day the oldest partition will be truncated so that it could be reused next day. Some data will be sit in more than 1 partitions, and we need to get the newest data. The current partition has a partition_key=MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') + 1, 4).
If oracle obeys the order of the items in the in-list, then the following sql should work and has the least cost. But I am not sure whether oracle run time engine will obey the order. I recalled Lewis had said run time engine might not follow the plan in the execution plan (explain plan).
    select *
      from tab
    where id=:id and partition_key in
           (MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') + 1, 4),
            MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') , 4),
            MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') -1, 4),
MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY')-2, 4)) and rownum=1;If oracle doesn't follow the order in the in-list, does oracle follow the order of subquery in "union all", such as
    select * from
           select * from tab where where id=:id and partition_key =MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') + 1, 4)
              union all
           select * from tab where where id=:id and partition_key =MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') , 4)
              union all
           select * from tab where where id=:id and partition_key =MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') - 1, 4)
              union all
           select * from tab where where id=:id and partition_key =MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE) - TO_DATE('01-JAN-2005', 'DD-MON-YYYY') - 2, 4)
    where rownum=1

Is there an Oracle version number on your database?
Is "Lewis" Jonathan Lewis? If so please post a link to his comment so we can read it and understand what you are referring to.
If your table is indeed partitioned then please post the DDL that created it ... not every column but at least the partition key
    and the partioning template.
Please also post your explain plan report generated from your DML statements by dbms_xplan.display.

  • Weights are not getting copied from quote to order

    Hi All,
While creating sales order items with reference to a Quote the weights are not getting copied (zero shown in weights) even though the material in  quote has weight.
Why are the weights not getting properly from quote to order .

    hi
goto VTAA and select the target document
    click on Magnifying glass symbol
here check whether you have selected complete Reference or not
But if you select this then the system copies the source document completely.
    Procedure
If you mark the field, the system copies the source document into the target document completely. The system also copies the complete reference indicator. You cannot change the indicator in the target document.

  • Oracle Quoting tool

At a demo, I've seen an Oracle Quote created with Oracle Quoting by adding one part at a time to the quote.
the Configurator was NOT involved in this process.
My question: instead of manually selecting one part at a time for the quote, can I import (load)
an Excel file with many parts in it to the quote ?
    Thank you so much.

  • Quote to Order rate.

I was am wondering if anyone knows of a standard SAP report that will show the successful conversion rate of quotes into orders.

    Hi;
Well I am not aware of a report as such but we can get this information from the tables.
    1. Goto Table VBAK and get the list of quotations created within a specific time frame.
    2. Goto tble VBFA and give these quotations and list the subsequent docs with the doc category as C. This would list the SOs. When u compare the number of Quotes with this list you can get to know the conversion rate i presume.
Hope this helps if not solves your issue.
