No, You dont go to metalink site to access education programs.
But as far as I know there are 20% discounts on Oracle University programs and Annually Oracle provide couple of free training to choose from the training list.

If you want baseline information about license costs, you can check the Oracle Store (https://oraclestore.oracle.com), but you may be able to negotiate a better rate with Oracle Sales.

Is practising on Oracle OLAP features free with Oracle 11g EE??
Information found in Internet:
- Oracle Corporation markets the Oracle Database OLAP Option as an extra-cost option to supplement the "Enterprise Edition" of its database.
- Oracle Database OLAP is there pre-installed along with the rest of Oracle Database EE. You just need to license it for use on the DB Machine when you choose to use it.
- Oracle OLAP is a world class multidimensional analytic engine embedded in Oracle Database 11g.
Please confirm if I can try some OLAP features in my office where I have Oracle 11g EE installed as I have been asked to do an initial POC?

My friend is using a book to learn the Oracle R12 and she would like to practice working on the software.

My laptop is windows 64bit. I could not find R12 under this operating system. What is the OS?
Oracle EBS R12 cannot be installed on 64-bit and you will have to install it on 32-bit (or install on 32-bit then migrate to 64-bit).

Then i unzipped the files.
Under each folder there start cd folder - installed the exe file from part 1 of 4, part 2 of 4
unable to find exe file in part 3 of 4.
I am not sure i am doing the installation correctly. Once you install the right OS, please run md5sum to verify the integrity of the stage area directory.

For Rac I am using both same OS (linux 4) for both nodes .
Plz suggest its possible to install two nodes on different machine(diiferent virtual machine on different system ) .Can communicate both machine without any problem if its possible plz provide links.

PDF requires the font be registered correctly, since it is not appearing you have missed something in your configuration.
The most common error is the font family name does not exactly match the font name in Word. (Open the font on your PC and the name is present there also.)
You can use the xdodebug.cfg troubleshooting method, then see what error appears in the xdo.log when the font is accessed.

Printing Checks from Oracle r12

I'm not too sure on where I should have put this post because I really don't know anything about Oracle. In my company I handle Server and PC maintenance mainly. The only thing I do with Oracle is I have to run a report every morning. The people in the positions that would usually handle what I need to get done are extremely busy right now and they have asked me to do research on this issue.
We are currently in the middle of upgrading to Oracle r12 and running 11i right now. The current check printing we have won't work with r12 from what I hear. Do I have to use a third party program to print the checks from Oracle or is this something we could code ourselves? Sorry if this doesn't make since to anyone, please reply and I will try to explain as well as I can... remember... I only know how to run this one report in Oracle.
