Oracle Report is not finding the prt configuration file on 10G?

Oracle Report is not finding the prt configuration file on reports server 10G.
On another enviroment I had installed only Forms and Reports services. Here was finding
the prt configuration file and running ok.
Now I have "infrastructure" and "forms and reports services" and the reports server is not finding the prt configuration file.
I have the Internet Directory, Single Sign-on, oca, OC4J_SECURITY services "infrastructure" and the forms and reports services on the same machine.
Can somebody help me?

Definitions (explicit or implicit) on client side overwrite settings on server side. If not set explicitly, parameters like NLS_SORT and NLS_COMP are derived from environment variable NLS_LANG. If NLS_LANG is not set, it defaults to AMERICAN_AMERICA.US7ASCII. If client OS is Windows, the installer sets NLS_LANG according to the language of the OS (and writes the value into the registry), on UNIX NLS_LANG is not set automatically.

  • Oracle client do not find the odbc dlls.

i was trying to connect to sql server through odbc in forms10g using exec_sql. some one told me that ur oracle client do not find the odbc dlls.
Can some one guide me how to setup everything so that it start working

Yes, there's a 64 bit ODBC driver. it comes with the 64 bit Oracle client install software.
You should be able to find quite a few '64 bit' type posts on this forum, but in a nutshell:
    1) both 32 bit and 64 bit administrator are called odbcad32.exe, you need to invoke the right one
    2) 64 bit apps require 64 bit dsn/odbc/client
    3) 32 bit apps require 32 bit dsn/odbc/client
    4) supported versions on 2008R2 are 10205, 11201, and 11202
    Hope it helps,

  • Error: "Could not find the main class: Files\NetBeans"

I am working on a WorldWind mapping application but I think this issue is more of a straight Java question. I was attempting to add a web service reference by means of the NetBeans IDE. The reference compiled as it should have but then the application would not run. I deleted the reference, commented out all the code that used the web reference, basically restored all the code to how it was before trying to add the web service. The applicaiton still will not run with the message that it can't find the main class. I do, however, get a clean build. What should I do to fix this?
Here is the error: "Could not find the main class: Files\NetBeans"
    thanks!

Here is the error: "Could not find the main class: Files\NetBeans"
thanks!Sounds like something (a .cmd file or .bat file, perhaps) is set up to launch NetBeans with a command line like this:
    java -classpath ... c:\Program Files\NetBeans ...
So since the path has embedded space(s) in it, it thinks you are wanting to run a class named "Files\NetBeans", which does not exist.
You need someone there who knows what they are doing to look into it for you.

    Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders.  You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

  • Edge Animate could not find the associated html file - anyway

We have another thread discussing this issue at http://forums.adobe.com/message/5331743
But it is out of date and marked with a green-icon positive solution, so..
still I try to reopen the issue about an error of "Edge Animate could not find the associated html file"
for me, this error remains even after opening and saving corresponding html file.
in fact I don't remember any successful launch of .an file for all my projects
working at win 7, 64 bit

ok I shared this via dropbox

  • Edge Animate could not find the associated html file

    Hey everybody,
I made several projects using Edge Animate 1.0, all of them worked perfectly. But now I need to make some changes, and several of them are displaying an error saying that could not find the html file associated with the project, even though the file is right at the same folder. I opened the .an file in a text editor and checked that the HTMLFileName attribute is pointing to the correct file. I'm attaching a print screen of the error.
If anyone has any idea of what is causing it, and how to solve it, it would be greatly appreciated, as I had no luck in anything I tried to do, and need to edit these files as soon as possible.
    Thanks in advance!

Have somebody found a solution for this?
I have the same problem with a little added twist.
The project is located on Creative Cloud.
.an file opens form one computer and gives this error message while being opened from another.
This question is being asked by the community for a while with no solution.
Could somebody from Adobe read this and post the solution?
    Thanks

when i unzip the oc4j_extend.zip, i can not find the orion.jar under j2ee/home diretory, how can start it?

You're absolutely right. For some reason orion.jar isn't in that distribution. However there should be an oc4j.jar file in there, which behaves exactly as the orion.jar file would. So, any place in the documentation where it refers to orion.jar, just substitute oc4j.jar.

  • Can not Open XMD from EDK / can not find the firmware executable file

    Hi,
    I have two problems:
    1. I finished generating the bitstream in the EDK project. But when I try to open XMD in the EDK menu by doing "Debug --> Launch XMD" The XMD doesnt shows up. While the EDK output window says "xterm -e xmd -xmp system.xmp -opt etc/xmd_microblaze_0.opt&"
does anyone know how to launch XMD from EDK?
The system I am using is Ubuntu 9.10, the EDK version is 10.1.03 and I also use USB to JTAG for programming the board, serial port from the desktop to serial port on 110T FPGA.
    2. I start the XMD in terminal manually
and type the command " xmd -xmp system.xmp -opt etc/xmd_microblaze_0.opt& " in the directory where the system.xmp file located.

I just downloaded JavaHelp. I can run all the examples. However when I recompile using Forte, the Merge Example it can not find the "master.hs" file. I suspect that I have something configured wrong.
I put all the help files in the same directory as the source code.

The helpset hs file is specified relative to the class from which it is referred. If the class & hs are in the same dir
    URL hsUrl=HelpSet.findHelpSet(null, "master.hs");
    hs=new HelpSet(null, hsUrl);

I was able to resolve this issue by performing following.
    1. Go to the location where sqldeveloperW.exe is being executed from.
    2. You will find a file sqldeveloper.conf in that location. Edit this file and change the value of IncludeConfFile to point to actual place. For me following were old and new values.
    OLD (Wrong) : IncludeConfFile ../../jdev/bin/ide.conf
    NEW (Correct) : IncludeConfFile ../../ide/bin/ide.conf
After making above change in the sqldeveloper.conf file. Save and close it. Restart SQLDeveloper. You will not get the error anymore.
    Thanks

  • "An error has occurred: Could not find the document." on opening the BO report

    Hi ,
On publishing the BO report in Portal, we get the blank screen with warning message as below screenshot and  facing the ""An error has occurred: Could not find the document."" error message when accessing the BO report using open document URL directly in browser instead of portal.
    Link: http://<host>:8080/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=ASClVc_yw55L
We already have many BO reports successfully running in the production environment.
But for this new report we are getting this error. The difference found in this report is from Infoviewapp the login page appears as below in to which the developer logs in.
But for the reports coming with error the login page authentication value is changed to "Enterprise". So the system related fields disappear after that and looks like below
Please let us know the root-cause of this error message. Is this something to do with user authorization in BO system at report level or some config changes related to SAP/Enterprise authentication.
Multiple posts in SDN related to this error message points to check for user authorizations in BO system. Please provide details on this if this is the case.
    Regards,
    Bhaskar

    Hi ,
The dropdown is now made visible to the users in the opendocument property as per the suggestion in the below links. The user can choose the authentication type and login into reports after that.

My question now is after changing the visibility of the authentication true, the SSO doesn't work as before. Is there any way to make the SSO available with this setup ?
