Oracle User Guides in Foreign Languages

Does anyone know how to obtain Oracle User Guides a foreign language? We are internationally based. I've had no success on Metalink.

If the specific requirement is around training it may be worth contacting Oracle University as they may have local langusge manuals for courses conducted in country.
From a training perspective there may be someone who can give you information around Oracle Tutor. I seem to recollect that there were translation programs that came with this. However - it was a sales demo !!

Dear everyone
Does any one know if it is possible to purchase Oracle User Guides? I know they are available on the oracle website to view and download, but I find it easier to browse through a hard copy.
My current access to Oracle 10g is through my university so I don’t own a copy of Oracle myself. I am after the user manuals for PL/SQL, Oracle spatial and Oracle Georaster.

Thank you for the replies. I have already downloaded the documentation. However I was interested in possibly buying hard copies so I can browse through the references more easily.
I've since contacted Oracle to find out more about some of the hard copy documentation as it comes in volumns and their store isn't very clear on prices for volumn sets.

Sure sounds like a bug to me. What CUCM Version are you running? There is a similar bug in 5.1(x) for 7941/7961 and other Locales.

Workaround:
user can change the URL with following:
https://x.x.x.x/PhoneGuides/locales/fr_fr/7961/6141sccp.pdf
It will bring up the corresponding user guide for the language selected.

Why does 'Guest User' appear in a foreign language when logged in as guest?

Why does 'Guest User' appear in a foreign language when logged in as guest? It's not a major problem but it would be nice to be able to fix it, and to understand how it happened.
Everything else is in English (or set to English) as far as I can see, and my Macbook is only a couple of weeks old. All system updates have been performed and permissions have been repaired.
It displays it in Finnish (Suomi) as 'Vierastilin käyttäjä' only when logged in, in the System Preferencess user list and apple menu (where you would normally select 'Log Out Guest User'). I cant find anyone else with the same problem online. I am in the UK, purchased the Macbook on the UK Apple Store online, and I have never been to Finland or selected anything to do with Finland or its language. Everything else is in English.
I should add that 'Vierastilin' showed up instead of 'Guest User' on the OSX login screen on the first day I had the Macbook, but this seemed to fix itself somehow soon after.

Okay, tried that, lots of variations including deleting all other languages and only using Finnish, and then using only British English etc - when guest is in Finnish the whole lot becomes Finnish/Suomi (see attached photos to compare with the ones above) - then when you delete Finnish and go back to English, everything is Englisg apart from 'Vierastilin käyttäjä' as above.
Any other ideas where it stores that info - is there a dodgy preference file somewhere which needs zapping?

User guide language

My system is in french, so Logic X appears in french in my iMac.
I prefer using the english version so I used Language Switcher to use Logic X in English. So far so good.
The problem I have is when i launch the user guide in the help menu, it still appears in french.
Anybody knows how to correct the situation?
I have tried to find where was the user guide located in my computer but cannot find it.
The only solution I found so far, is to download the english user guide in PDF format but would prefer to acces the help file via the help menu in logic.

User guide for creation of types of tables in repository of oracle BI

These are all technical guides and I am interested one more theoretical user guide, for example what are fact tables, how to identify them in my specific database, which is the best practice on identifying fact tables, how to identify which are the dimension tables etc.

I'm interested in Oracle Enterprise Management new module, included in 11i. I have found no info about this new module, apart from a brief data sheet and some advertising presentations.
Does user guide exist for this module yet?
Is this module really available at this time?

Oracle BPM Studio is the integrated development and test environment where business analysts and developers can create, document and simulate process models, integrate services, create business rules and logic and create end user interfaces. Projects built in Studio can be deployed to Oracle BPM Enterprise. Although Studio has a small database (Derby) and Tomcat environment, these are only used for rapid testing. The language of the User Guide, sample books and menu are set during the inital setup process of your Reader Wi-Fi. If the language is changed to a different language after the initial setup, only the menu would change to the new language. To change all of these to a different language, you will need to run the initial setup process again. Follow these steps to do a Factory Initialize (Hard reset) and set the appropriate language:
With the Reader Wi-Fi on, on the bottom of the device, press and hold the power button until the Device Shutdown screen appears.
In the Device Shutdown screen, press Yes.
Press the power button again to turn the Reader Wi-Fi back on.
While the screen displays opening book....., simultaneously press and hold down the Next and Back buttons.
Allow the Homescreen to fully load (Loading... should no longer flash in the top left corner of your screen) and then
do the following button sequence while still holding down the Next and Back buttons:
Release - Press - Release the Back button only and then Release the Next button.
In the Would you like to execute Factory Initialize screen, press Yes.
Press the power button again to turn on the Reader Wi-Fi. The Reader Wi-Fi will be set to factory settings.
Turn the Reader Wi-Fi back on. The initial setup process will begin.
NOTE: This procedure assumes you want English as the language. These steps can be done for any language.
In the Menu Language screen, select English.
Your reader will now be set for English. Follow the rest of the on screen steps to complete the setup.

Catalog id is not getting displayed properly in Foreign Language (French)

I have created a web service id for the external catalog and I have assigned the same to one of the user. The name of the web service id is getting displayed properly in the shopping cart creation screen when the language is English. But when we are changing the user language to Foreign language (French), the name is not getting displayed properly.
Could you please advise me if there any settings needs to be done in the parameters of the specific web service id. Thanks in advance for your help.

Go to External Web Services and the select the web service ID. Then click on GOTO >Translation and select the language and enter the description of the web service as to be disaplyed while users log in French against the language.

Reading XML file having various foreign languages from web application.

I'm dealing with a so-called serious problem where-in:
I've to read one of the configuration files(XML files) having values in different foreign languages (like Chinese, Japanese, Arabic etc). I've to read that file contents, in as it is form, in such a way that user can read / change the data from the web application.
I'm showing the XML file inside the TextArea (the HTML <textarea> tag. While reading this file, it got converted to junk values instead of actual ones. While saving this file it changes those original values to junk in file as well.
I'm using SAX parser with DefaultHandler.
Better suggestions are welcome.

Do NOT display the characters to determine the problem. Instead take a small sample and print the numeric values. And do that at each stage/layer until they do not match.
