Hello, I installed Oracle VM 3.1.1 and I'm having the same problem Oracle VM 2.1.1 + Dell R900 + QLE2462 + EMC not working post.
But the packages are old. Where do I find the latest packages?
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

I was in the same boat on a HP blade-system and a

  • Oracle EPM Planning 11.1.2.1 - Ziplogs utility not working on all servers

    Oracle EPM Planning 11.1.2.1 - Ziplogs utility not working on all servers
    We have Planning 11.1.2.1 distributed so that Planning web app, EAS etc. are on own webservers and Essbase is on separate cluster.
    Currently we have an issue with ziplogs utility - it seems to work on Essbase servers gathering all necessary ODL logs for over 100MBs, but on Planning Webservers ziplogs utility seems to start, but generates only empty 1kb zip file without any content.
    We haven't touched logging otherwise, everything should be pretty much in original state.
    Unfortunately I can't remember now exactly, but I have a a hunch that ziplogs utility worked prior patching Planning element on webservers to 11.1.2.1.600.
    Other servers or elements haven't been patched (although Oracle recommends also FS, EB etc. to be patched to 11.1.2.1.600). I'm wondering, could this be the reason as in a way FS and EB are on same patching level whereas Planning is not?
    Also, there seems to be a bit of limited diskspace on webservers (still waiting for extension), but I would imagine lack of diskspace for preparing any temp files etc. would results in some errors, the problem is that ziplogs doesn't give any errors, just runs very short time and then ends bringing 1kb empty file.
    Has anyone experienced anything similar and are you perhaps able to give quick guidance how to enhance or modify ziplogs batch file etc. to make it create a bit of logging of its own actions?
    Thanks in advance if anyone has ideas what could be the root cause for this or faced something similar.

    Okay, I was able to get it installed and Common Components installed correctly this time. I still can't access workspace though.
    Is there something I need to do before I can browse to http://localhost:19000/workspace/index.jsp?
    All I get is the following error:
    Error 404--Not Found
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
    The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
    If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
    Anyone know what's going on?

    I just bought an I pad 2 and im trying to charge it via a USB cord connected to my Dell.  It's not working please help

    Not all USB ports provide enough power to charge the iPad. It may charge very slowly while the screen is off. Charge it using the included charger and you should be fine.

  • Ctrl Alt Del and Task manager not working

    Hi, Ive been having a problem getting task manager to run at all. On a fresh reboot, if I use the ctrl alt del function the according screen will come up like normal, and I will click on task manager. It bring me back to my desktop and nothing pops up.
    Its not running in my task bar or anything. Then if I try to use the ctrl alt del function again, nothing happens. Ive tried running task manager straight from the start menu, but then I get an error saying that the version of that file is not compatible with
    the version of windows I am running, which is 64 bit W7. It just started happening on my system a few days ago and I have changed nothing the past few days. I have tried to do a system restore, but to my idiocy, I did not know I needed to manually create restore
    points. So I can only restore to yesterday which would fix nothing. I have run antivirus and anti spyware programs and they have shown no problems and my hard drive only has a 1% disk fragmentation. Is there a way to uninstall and re download a 64 bit compatible
    version of the windows 7 task manager? Or is there a separate reason why it is not working? Thankyou

    Also try it By Registry Editor :
    Start --> Run --> regedit --> ok
    Then
    Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    Name: DisableTaskMgr
    Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 0=Disablethis key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager
    Regards,
    MCP | MCTS | MCITP
    The first fix did not work, I tried doing the second one but there is no system folder in
    Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
    The only one its showing is an explorer folder.

  • Dell Inspiron 3420 microphone not working after update

    I got myself a Dell Inspiron 3420 laptop, mostly because of the Dell's exceptional Linux support (it came with Ubuntu preinstalled, but I ran it over with Arch right away). Anyway, I've set up my system, installed GNOME, everything worked like a charm. And then this update came and internal mic ain't working. I'm using pulseaudio, and in pavucontrol when I head over to Input Devices card, I can see the entry, I can toggle the slider, but it's not working. I tried with alsamixer as well, but without success.
    FTR, external mic is not working as well... when I plug it in, nothing happens. He's dead Jim, he's dead...
    Ideas?

    I am having the same problem . Siri is working fine , voice record not working... And people can only hear me if I talk with the speaker phone on . This is definitely a software issue because I replaced the mic and thunderbolt ,, still having the same problem

  • JMF on Dell Vostro 200 JMF not working

    We have new Dell Vostro 200 and the JMF does not work.

    Gee. Tom_Jansen, what a useful response. The audio chipset in the Vostro appears not to be compatible with JMF, a software product that hasn't been updated in several years. The user is looking for some assistance, maybe a firmware update someone knows about or has tested, or a patch to JMF. You have an unfortunate existence if the extent of your knowledge is to post responses like that.

  • Dell D610 WiFi does not work

    Hi,
    I'm new to unix and cant get my Dell D610 laptop's wireless network to work.
    I'm guessing I need drivers?
    I know on Ubuntu I had to use some sort of a windows emulator to get the windows drivers to work on Ubuntu.
    Dell 1370 mini- internal wifi card
    Broadcomm manufacturer
    I dont know the chipset but could find out
    thanks alot!!

    Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections  http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
    Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

  • Oracle Proc in edmx via add function import is not working

    I have a mandate to call a external oracle package from my local oracle db proc using Entity Framework. I have created a synonym for that. When I am trying to polpulate the oracle procedure data in my mvc screen using odp.net. The screen is closing automatically when I am trying to retive the column info by clicking "get column information" under "Add Function Import" in model browser.
    Following is my code snipet
    1. created a oracle stored proc to call the external proc
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE USP_GET_DETAILS
    IN_ID IN NUMBER,
    OUT_RESULT OUT SYS_REFCURSOR
    IS
    OUT_FED_TAX_ID_NO VARCHAR2(50);
    OUT_PARTY_ID_NO NUMBER;
    OUT_PARTY_TYP_CD NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    PKG_GET_DETAILS.USP_GET_DETAILS_INFO (IN_ID, OUT_FED_TAX_ID_NO, OUT_PARTY_ID_NO);
    OPEN OUT_RESULT FOR
         SELECT OUT_FED_TAX_ID_NO, OUT_PARTY_ID_NO FROM DUAL;
    END USP_GET_DETAILS;
    2. added the proc "USP_GET_DETAILS" using "Update model using database" in my edmx file
    3. Now proc has been added to my edmx file under SSDL
    <Function Name="USP_GET_DETAILS" Aggregate="false" BuiltIn="false" NiladicFunction="false" IsComposable="false" ParameterTypeSemantics="AllowImplicitConversion" Schema="BCS_OWNER">
    <Parameter Name="IN_ID" Type="number" Mode="In" />
    </Function>
    4. added following code to my web.config file
    <oracle.dataaccess.client>
    <settings>
    <add name="BCS_OWNER.USP_GET_DETAILS.RefCursor.OUT_RESULT" value="implicitRefCursor bindinfo='mode=Output'" />
    <add name="BCS_OWNER.USP_GET_DETAILS.RefCursorMetaData.OUT_RESULT.Column.0" value="implicitRefCursor metadata='ColumnName=OUT_FED_TAX_ID_NO;NATIVEDATATYPE=Varchar2;ProviderType=Varchar2'" />
    <add name="BCS_OWNER.USP_GET_DETAILS.RefCursorMetaData.OUT_RESULT.Column.1" value="implicitRefCursor metadata='ColumnName=OUT_PARTY_ID_NO;NATIVEDATATYPE=Number;ProviderType=Decimal'" />
    </settings>
    </oracle.dataaccess.client>
    5. underModel Browser try to add the procedure under "Add Import Function", select "Complex Type". when i am clicking on "Get column information" button, the screen blank for some time and then auto closing the screen without displaying any column info. I would like to know if any thing wrong i am doing on my steps? please help?

    I managed to workaround this problem.
    I add the function with no return value. Then in the Model Explorer you go to the properties of the imported function and edit the return type property, the same dialog appears, but this time it works as expected(considering you have set all the values correctly on your config file).

  • DELL web site is not working?

    Trying to buy a laptop through the web site, trying to go to check out I keep getting "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET".  No matter what computer, browser, or ISP I try from...I get this error.  Also noticed that I cannot remove items from my shopping cart, same problem.  Checkout or item remove results in a 30-60 second period where the browser sits and spins, then I get ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.  First time I've ever had this problem.  DELL, you have an odd way of getting people to buy your products.

    Hi webbr1,
    Thanks for your post on the Dell Community.
    I've checked and the website appears to be working now.  Are you still having difficulty ordering?  If you require additional assistance, please contact me privately.

    Thanks for your reply,
    As you asked i checked out the version detail of the 10g client its (10.2.0.1.0).
    From where can i download the patch 10.2.0.5 upgrade as you suggested. If you could share the link for
    the same. It would be really helpfull for me.
    Patches can only be downloaded from My Oracle Support - https://support.oracle.com - you will need a valid Customer Support Identifier (CSI), which is given when you purchase support from Oracle.

  • [semi-solved] dell xps 12 touchscreen not working (2013, 12-9Q33)

    does anyone know how to get the touch screen working the dell xps 12?
    ran windows on it for a few days and there did not appear to be any hardware issues with touchscreen (or anything else).
    deleted all windows partitions and installed arch + kde with no issues, boots and runs great. but no response from the touch screen.
    have tried to cat every /dev/input/event* but get nothing when tapping touch screen.
    beleve it uses an atmel maxtouch digitizer... which i think should be picked up by udev... but dont think udev even sees the device, it just detetcs boring old mouse.
    this looks like a simmilar issue with ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1218973 but on my system there is no indication that it is an i2c device.
    tried atmel kernel but still no action https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kerne … mel-mxt-ts

    Semi solved the problem by building a kernel with an ubuntu .config from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/ma … y/current/
    I think i have multi touch working on the touchscreen, but this has resulted in breakage of the synapic touchpad which is now operating in a very simple mode (no scrolling or multitouch).
    Probably best to follow https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1218973 and http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.input/32207 for a real solution

    var theEvent = e.htmlEvent || window.event;
    var key = theEvent.keyCode || theEvent.which;
    debugger;
    key = String.fromCharCode(key);
    var regex = /[a-zA-Z ]/;
    if (!regex.test(key)) {
    theEvent.returnValue = false;
    if (theEvent.preventDefault)
    theEvent.preventDefault();
    All the browsers except firefox allow Backspace, Del, Tab, Arrow keys, Home, End key to work perfectly. Firefox does not allow any of these to work on the textboxes.
    Thanks
    Shitiz

    Hi,
    I tried to solve it by debugging the javascript and found the below code to be working for firefox as well as on other browsers IE10, Chrome and Safari without any issues
    //validation function to allow only alphabets and space
    function fn_allowAlphabetspace(s, e) {
    var searchSpecial = '$Backspace$Del$Home$Tab$Left$Right$Up$Down$End$';
    if (searchSpecial.indexOf('$' + e.htmlEvent.key + '$') < 0) {
    var theEvent = e.htmlEvent || window.event;
    var key = theEvent.keyCode || theEvent.which;
    key = String.fromCharCode(key);
    var regex = /[a-zA-Z ]/;
    if (!regex.test(key)) {
    theEvent.returnValue = false;
    if (theEvent.preventDefault)
    theEvent.preventDefault();
    Please not that parameter '''''e''''' passed in the function provide the details of the keypress function. I am using DevExpress ASPxTextBoxes. Anybody who wants to use this function need to make changes in the above code as per the control used
    Thanks

  • Dell Vostro 1320 - Microphone not working

    Hi,
    although my sound output works out of the box just fine, I can't get the microphone working. Neither the internal nor any plugged in external microphone works. I know that this is a common problem, and tried all available fixes that are flying around through various forums, but couldn't get it working.
    Has anyone another good (working ) idea? As said already I tried the common things (adding various options to the kernel module).
    Best regards
    johnpatcher

    Hi,
    I can confirm this issue on Dell Vostro 1320. The chipset is 'IDT 92HD81B1C5'. There is a bug report [1] on launchpad. It seems the 'Jack Sense' support is not enabled. The report is for alsa v1.0.21. My current version is alsa-lib 1.0.22-1.
    The is no mic sound, but there is some noise when I raise the mic volume, so I can conclude is the same 'Jack Sense' issue reported on [1].
    I really don't know when, but some update broke it. Maybe it's a regression.

  • Oracle Lite 10.3.0.3 MEMBER privilege does not work as desired

    Hi All,
    I need to have my client application with multi user functionality. I got to know that it can be done by having users with MEMBER privilege attached to users with USER privilege.
    The application is running fine when i login as USER but giving the following error when login as MEMBER.
    I have given necessary grants and created synonyms for the database objects in SYSTEM schema to MEMBER schema.
    I think this error may be specific to connection. Whether the member is not able to access the application files? Can anyone help me with regard to this. I have been struggling for past two weeks:( Anyone has done it earlier.. I have seen a similar post 1)lite create user and app subscription 2)selective sych from server regarding MEMBER privilege.
    If vasileios or rekounas     could help me regading this? It will be really helpful friends..(Error message attached in next post)
    Thanks in Advance

  • Oracle bi delivers - Show relevant rows only (under Recipients) not working

    Hi,
    My requirement is to send a report to multipel users and each user should get only relevant information mapped to his email id. If I uncheck option "Show relevant rows only", iBot is working and delivering report but our requirement is to send data related to user. For the I checked "Show relevant rows only" but after that iBot is not sending email. I checked the log at "product/OBIEE/OBIHome/server/Log/iBots", but there is no error.
    If someone has faced this issue and has solution please let me know.
    Thanks a lot.
    Mukul

    You need to set "Data Visilibity" as "Personalized" in the General tab. That means that the iBot will run for each user as each user therefore you need to make sure that each user can read the iBot and the requests that it uses.
