Oracle VM-Manager 2.2 web access

Hi All,
I have installed ORACLE VM 2.2 on my linux box.
I have installed ORACLE VM-Manager and create one VM thruogh VM templates. After that I try to access VM-Manager thruogh Ineternet explorer (https://10.30.0.167:4443/OVS) but it will continuoulsy giving error "Page can not be dispaly".
I don't understand why its suddenly failed? OVS port 4443 is also showing listening and its related JAVA process is also running.
from oc4j.log I find below error:
2010-05-06 12:16:00.098 ERROR ServerPoolSyncDaemon.runBusiness: exception or error happened:java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Any idea how to resolve this?

One other thing to check is that iptables on your Oracle VM Manager box/vm is not blocking the Oracle VM Manager UI, to test type /sbin/iptables status, if iptables running turn it off by typing /sbin/iptables stop.

Installed firefox 31 and now I can't get to our oracle enterprise manager 12c URL

Hi,
On Monday, I upgraded to Firefox 31 and now I cannot connect to our Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Web site. I get the following error message:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to lmoemxs101q.atl2.dc.sita.aero:7799. Issuer certificate is invalid. (Error code: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.
I am not sure what to do to get rid of this message. I need to use OEM to monitor our Oracle databases and I am no longer able to do this.

Thanks. I made the parameter change yesterday and now I can get to OEM and monitor our Oracle databases. I sent the workaround to my fellow DBA's in our office, as they all had the same issue with Firefox 31.
You mentioned that this the "insecure workaround" and should be used temporarily. How unsecure is it, and is the a better workaround being worked on?

Oracle Workflow Manager not working

hi
I have a problem concerning Oracle Workflow Manager.
When I access Oracle Workflow Manager,all workflow system are down e.g (Notification Mailers,Agent Listeners,Service Components,Background Engines,Purge and Control Queue Cleanup).
I tried several alternatives but was not successful.
I really need your help because we are going life in 2 weeks time?

Oracle Primavera Cost manager v 6.2 web access issue

We are trying to integrate the cost manager for web access. However, after setting up the IIS for the latest version, an error message is generated saying the web access installation was interrupted abruptly.

Unable to access Oracle VM Manager from browser

Hi,
I am unable to access the Oracle VM Manager from my browser at any of the url's e.g. /em; /OVS; /apex
I can connect to my server via putty, so I know the IP address that I am using is correct.
In the /var/ovm-manager/oc4j.log file I get the following message:
ERROR J2EE HTTP-00004 Internal error raised tyring to instantiate web-application: webapp defined in web site OC4J 10g (10.1.3) Default Web Site. Application: datatags does not exist. Error creating Web application: webapp
The oc4j service is running and the ovs-agent service is running but I cannot connect.
I am new to Oracle VM and Linux for that matter so it is entirely possible that something is not configured correctly somewhere

Try this command from the console or SSH to the server:
service iptables stop
If you can then access the URLs you will need to modify iptables to allow port 8888
I think this is the command:
iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 8888 -j ACCEPT
then:
service iptables start
Then try to connect again.

I have administrator access to Oracle Test Manager for Web Applications. How can I send email to all user in the system (Oracle Test Manager for Web Applications)?

Hi ,
You can create a single dynamic distribution group with the condition to have only the mailboxes in exchange as its members . Then when a person send an email to that Dynamic distribution group it will get distributed to all the mailboxes
in exchange.
Note : Most important feature in the dynamic group is that the membership of that group will be maintained automatically and also along with that we can have group membership by defining the recipient types/OU /rules.
I agree with ED and also based on my knowledge you cannot achieve your scenario without Distribution groups or dynamic distribution groups.

Error in Remote Web Access - "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again. If the problem continues, contact the person who manages your server."

I have set up the RWA and I can log in to the web console with my server account. However when I click on any of the shared folders I get this error:

I had this very same issue with one of our customer's servers that was running Windows Server Essentials. I ended up calling Microsoft about the issue. I hope this helps someone. 1. We were getting unexpected errors while accessing shared folders remotely
2. The tech found IIS handlers were missing

since this one is for a different product (Enterprise Manager Ops Center).

Web Cache doesn't work with Oracle Enterprise Manager

In my Oracle 9i Application Server Release 2 since I have changed the administrator and invalidator password in the Web Cache Manager the Web Cache appears as unavailable in the Oracle Enterprise Manager, but it's working!! Any idea?

You have to modify the password manually in OEM's target.xml.

Oracle VM Manager 3.0 - Virtual Machine Console Access

Does anybody else out there seem to have problems launching the console to get into a VM Guest? When we do, we get the login screen and then nothing. It doesn't appear to be firewall related. We had similiar issues in 2.2.
Any tricks on this?

Ensure you have port 15901 open from the client desktop to the Oracle VM Manager machine and that you have all the VNC ports open from Oracle VM Manager to the Oracle VM Servers. Spellcheck in Oracle Web Access Client

need the spellcheck in the Email Oracle Web Access Client. The question is:
are this functionality in this Java version of email???
Because I find this functionality (spellcheck) in the HTML version of Oracle
Mail but I cant find the spellcheck in the Java version of email.
Is possible connect the spellcheck from the HTML version to the Java Version or
this is an Enhancement Request to be logged on this issue for the next version.

Hello,
You can't do that in WAC but in the Webmail interface > Preferences > Account > Folders you can set this for Oracle Mail.

How to Access Oracle VM Manager Other IP Then 127.0.0.1

Hi!
Sorry for askig such a noob question. Where do I configure the allowed IP adresses for Oracle VM Manager? When I type http://192.168.x.y:8888/OVS no site is showing up. When I do a ssh tunnel everything is working fine, but for my testing host (just internal LAN) I would like to have access OVM site from every LANs IP adress.
