From what I understand, the Oracle VM agent, installed with the Oracle VM server, communicates with Oracle VM Manager to manage virtual machines.
The communication between Oracle VM manager and server is XML-RPC with SSL encryption i.e. You can take a look at https://<vm_server>:8899

contains information about ports, etc.

Whenever I shut down iTunes on my computer, it keeps reopening and I have to go into Task Manager and end the process in order for it to stop doing this. I am running it on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit machine.

I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

- The 2G iPod can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It does not have the hardware to support a higher iOS version.
- Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.
- You can only download the current version from the App store.

Compare Oracle Project Management and Primavera

Hi All,
We are using Primavera today and it is not integrated to Oracle.
We are also currently implementing Oracle Projects Management (R12.1.3) and trying to evaluate if Primavera can be replaced by Projects Management. Based upon my little experience with Primavera - I see some advantages of Primavera over Projects Management e.g.
a. Primavera is more user friendly than Oracle Projects Management.
Primavera: easy to create workplan; configurable views; generate reports with gantt charts
b. Primavera has scheduling engine to derive schedules based upon dates/duration/logic while Project Managment does not have it.
c. Gantt charts are better in Primavera than Oracle Projects Management.
Has anyone also done similar kind of analysis and evaluated the need of Primavera integration with Oracle Projects Management? I would appreciate if you can share your inputs.

I have used both the product. For project management i would suggest to use primavera for the same reason u mentioned.
the only disadvanage in primavera is it is not integrated with ERP.
Now oracle provide a AIA PIP integration package to integrate Primavera with oracle Projects(Limited integration). Use primaver for Project managment and oracle for Project Costing and Billing

We are trying to pass the CN information from our smartcard (CAC) that looks i.e. john.doe.123456789 as a parameters to an HTML or JSP file utilizing the OBLIX SSO. We can pass the UID but since we will have First-time Registration of the Smartcards, the UID doesn't count since the CN information from the Smartcard has not been populated at this point to the OID, we are trying to get the functionality going to get the user first to put in their login and password but at submit time, to update the OID with the CN information to a separate column of OID and not the UID.
Utilizing the OAM, we have been able to proof concept the authentication using the UID by using the Policy Manager and the Access System Console --> Access System Configuration. It's works well with the plugin that comes with the OAM (SSOOblixAuth.java) and thx to Oracle Support, but we need to be able to pass other parameters that are specified as a part of the Resource - Action as headervars such as
HeaderVar OBLIX_SN or
hearderVar OBLIX_MAIL
Our Oracle Access Implementation is in halt until we find a way to pass these return Attributes to a sample HTML or JSP program.
The Self-Service Forms functionality unfortunately doesn't provide the Smartcard related features such as SN, and MAIL.
Any help we can get, we very much appreciate it.

The tracking tables between Oracle Trade management and General Ledger

I need some help about the Oracle Trade management(R12), I have a requirement to find the records which exist in the Claim tables but not in the GL table, I found OZF_AE_HEADERS and OZF_AE_LINES tables, but did not find the relationship between these two tables and GL import reference table. Is there any subledger table between Trade management and GL modules? Please kindly provide some information about this, thanks a lot.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c - Agent communication error: peer not authenticated

Hello,
I'm using a VIP for my OMS instances, I have installed a CA signed SSL cert, I'm using a intermediate CA certificate as well. The browser sees it as secure and trusted. I can curl or wget from the same linux box the agent is on with no problem, the cert is trusted.
When I try to secure any agents to my OMS, it always fails on this error:
