Our client is a major bank in Jamaica and they have a requirement for an Oracle Workflow Consultant. This is a 6 months contract and it would be 3 weeks/month in Jamaica and 1 week/month back home. All expenses including trave, accomodation (5 star) and meals would be taken care of. There would also be a per diem and a bonus at the end of contract.cllient considering US/Canada based consultants.
·     A Technical Consultant with expert experience with Workflow
·     Expert technical experience and strong functional knowledge
·     Experience using Workflow Builder as a tool
·     Experience with configuration, customization, and modification of pre-configured workflows with Workflow Builder to suite business applications
·     Customization of workflow and optional set-ups such as enabling email process
·     Experience with configuration/escalation/exceptions in workflow
·     Workflow Builder is accessed at the systems administration level so consultant has to have experience with systems administration (application system administration)
·     A workflow guru would have performed this function for at least 50% of the time (rest of the time he/she would have done application system administration, technical design/development
Skills:
Very strong technical user level of workflow
Very strong experience with Workflow Builder
Oracle 11i, SQL or SQL Plus
Workflow knowledge from HR or elements of HR Module

Oracle Files with Workflow in OCS release 2

I am trying to configure email notification in the Workflow that comes with OCS release 2. Refering to Oracle Files Admin Guide, page 7-10, it says that I should conifgure sendmail to be used. I want to use OCS mail. Can this be done?
In fact, I need this to be done this way cos SendMail is turned off. My mid tier, calendar, Files, Mail, is sitted on a single server.

Files R2 integrates with Workflow 2.6.2. I believe Workflow 2.6.2 on UNIX requires Sendmail to be configured, but they support other mailers through UNIX gateways. Please refer to the Oracle Workflow Guide for more details.

Tax query builder with "workflow status" property

Hi,
is it possible to create a tax query builder with "workflow status" property? For example: folder A only with documents "Relased", folder B only with document "In progress"?
In property meta data I saw that there is a property "cm_workflowState", I made it indexable, but it doesn't work....

Is there a way to integrate Tutor with WorkFlow?

I believe Oracle Tutor works fine with Oracle Applications and Oracle Collaboration Suite. If you are using Oracle Workflow standalone from OCS, then Oracle Tutor would integrate with it.

FTP workflow hangs with OWB 11gR2

i created a workflow process in OWB, the purpose is using "ftp" commands to execute "dir" command but it's not working.
i configured my "ftp" in workflow process with the folowing parameters

sorry for the delay but it's because of the holly-days
I'm using OWB and a local server (vsftpd) for testing purposes and yes i restarted my computer after editing the file, i even tried to change the values in my script but with no results, i started to think that the script is not the issue, i configured OWB according to its official documentation & I'm a little confused...

Workflow Monitor on Warehouse Builder 11g r2

Hi everyone,
I'm developing an ETL process using Warehouse Builder 11g r2 on Oracle Database 11g r2.
I don't find any information about installation and use of Workflow Monitor with this last release.
Before I used OWB e DB 10g r2 where I can find Workflow Monitor+Application Server+ Midtier in "Companion CD".
In 11g r2 there aren't a CD like that, and i don't now how to proceed.
The solution i thought is to use Workflow Monitor from 10g r2 companion cd but i hope in a better
and "updated" solution.
Can anyone suggest me?

I don't belive so, but you might want to check the licensing terms for using the Oracle Single-Sign-On server. For workflow to work, all you need it the mod_osso module which comes with Oracle SSO server.

LIBOVD ERROR - "validateContextToken: workflow session was not found for given context. Create a new workflow session with token"

Hello everyone,
I have the following scenario:
We're using "Oracle SOA Suite 11g 11.1.1.7.0" (Patched w/ 17893896) mainly for a BPM/Human workflow composite. Former, we were having the error bellow:
<Mar 16, 2015 1:13:03 PM BRT> <Error> <oracle.soa.services.workflow.query> <BEA-000000> <<.> Verification Service cannot resolve user identity. User weblogic cannot be found in the identity repository. Workflow Context token cannot be null in request.

When that error ocurred, no one was able to use the system (BPM/Human Workflow).
I opened an SR, and after some analysis from the support, it recommended me to set up "virtualize=true" in EM, and restarting the domain. Then it started logging the following:
connection to ldap://[10.200.10.57]:7001 as cn=Admin.
javax.naming.NamingException: No LDAP connection available to process request for DN: cn=Admin.
Looking up on support KB, I found this note Doc ID 1545680.1 and increased from Max size of Connection Pool 10 to 200. That did work successfully! Problem now is that the <SERVER>_diagnostic.log is being filled up with the following error:

One important point is that we're using only the embedded WLS ldap. So I am not 100% sure if we should be using the virtualize flag=true, once all docs I read point out that this should be done when using multi-ldap providers.
Also, I only got this error in the "diagnostic.log".
Although, no user has complained about using the system, I really want to work it out. Anyone has any suggestions?

Oracle I supplier portal workflow -- PO Acknowledgement Workflow

Oracle iSupplier Portal uses the following workflows:
■ Supplier Change Order Workflow
■ Update Capacity Workflow
■ Order Modifiers Workflow
■ Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) Workflow
■ Purchase Order Acknowledgement (handled by PO Approval Workflow)
Since EDI 855 refers to PO Ack, we have a req to use EDI for PO Acknowledgement to be done by EDI since the users are unable to acknowledge each single PO.
As mentioned in the user guides, it is said that the Purchase Order Acknowledgement is handled by PO Approval Workflow. So now I need to write a custom logic to capture the acknowledgement from Supplier and kick of the correct workflow to proceed with acceptance/rejection or change order.
Can anyone tell me which workflow if used for this and what is the process name in PO Approval Workflow.

The best way to determine this would be to download the workflow into a wft file from 11.5.8 and 11.5.10 instances and run a simple Unix diff command on these two wft files. I do not believe you will find any documentation that will list differences at this level of detail.

14. Once my photos look the way I want, I then export them to JPEG. I have set up a Photoshop droplet for Lightroom that will then do all my sharpening after export.
That's it! I know it sounds like a lot of steps, but once you've done it a couple of times it goes by really quick. I'm really loving most things about Lightroom in terms of its cataloging and export options. But the image quality of the Lightroom raw conversions just isn't there yet. I've found by integrating both Capture NX and Lightroom I can get top quality results while still gaining advantage of Lightroom's many nice features. It took me a few days of exploration and experimentation to nail down the optimal workflow for my needs. Hopefully this will help some others out and maybe give them some ideas of their own toward a better workflow.
Please feel free to share your thoughts or own experience on all of this.
