Oracle XE production : web admin pages not localized

Hi,
I've just installed the production release (OracleXE latin1) on a french windows XP SP2. The product runs fine but the web admin pages and documentation are in english. The entries in the "start" menu are localized.
When I tested the last beta I noticed that the web admin pages were localized.
Is this an installation issue or a product issue ?
Thanks,
Jérôme

Hi Jérôme,
the announcement says:
Oracle Database 10g Express (Western European) Edition - Single-byte LATIN1 database for Western European language storage, with the Database Homepage user interface in English only.
Oracle Database 10g Express (Universal) Edition - Multi-byte Unicode database for all language deployment, with the Database Homepage user interface available in the following languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.
Thus you would need the Universal Edition for having a French user interface.

  • UCCE 9.0.1 CCE Admin Page not working

I have UCCE 9.0.1 and everything works fine except the cce web admin page. I manage to configure attributes and precision queues using cce admin page. But when I am trying to assign the attributes to an agent by clicking agent name, the page freeze by showing the "loading.... "  message.
Anyone know how to resolve this .

There is a known bug on PCCE and UCCE when using the cceadmin page and having it timeout.
Please find in the following readme bug number CSCue95184.

  • Web admin pages

I'm wondering how I can find the ip addresses and if it is possible to deal with the web admin pages of the multiple routers, switches, and cable modem in my home network. I've got a cable modem plugged into a router which then goes to a switch as well as another wireless router. In the past I've been able to go to the web admin page for these devices but when they're all plugged in the only page I know of is my main router (192.168.2.1). I'd like to get to my modem and at least my other router.

    Hi Spencer,
You can only get into them by directly connecting on most of them, but generally speaking, if you know the Brand/Model of these then you can look up the "Default" IPs online, like here...

  • Oracle Rule Author admin pages not showing up

I installed the Oracle, Oracle application server and Oracle SOA Suite and was going through the SOA Order booking application but am currently stuck on the Rule Author. I bring up the admin page:
    http://localhost:8888/ruleauthor
I log in and it displays a blank page.
Anyone have an idea what is going on?

I haven't seen this before. Could you provide some details on what options you installed SOA with and what browser you are using?

  • Web Auth page not working on WLC

I have a WLC 4402 and I upgraded the s/w from 4.1 to 4.2.176 since I did the web auth on my Guest wlan does not work. I can connect to the wireless ok and when I type in a web address I should get the web auth page but I just get "This page cannot be displayed". However if i type in the ip address of the WLC in the addrsss bar I get the web auth page and it work fine form then on. The web auth page worked fine on ver 4.1. Any ideas?

I opened a TAC case this morning on this same problem, and my solution is what is listed above (config network secureweb cipher-option sslv2 enable)
Basically, SSLv2 is disabled in 4.2. The Default is now SSLv3.
Depending on your Internet settings, if IE is configured to use SSLv2, the webpage will not work.
So in internet explorer, tools, internet options, advanced, There will be a checkbox next to Use SSLv2. (Even if Use SSLv3 is enabled, you still have the https issue).
Basically, my issues was that a select few users could not Web authenticate and a select few admins couldn't HTTPS manage the GUI. Turns out in all cases, the computers that were all able to work, did not have SSLv2 enabled.
By enabling SSLv2, all affected users now work (I think).

  • Unity Connection Admin Page Not Loading

    Cisco Unity Connection version: 8.5.1ES16.11900-16
    Running HA.
My publisher's gui loads just fine. However if I try to load the subs i get the servers error page:
    HTTP Status 404 -
    type: Status report
    message:
description: The requested resource () is not available.
Also when I go to services on the admin page and drop the menu down to that server I get no available. In the cluster menu I see the server defined.
I can SSH into the box and the servcies appear to be running just fine. Is there a way to tell why the admin page is not loading?

Have you tried restarting the Tomcat service on the secondary server? This can be done via the CLI.
         utils service restart Cisco Tomcat

  • WRT54G ver.6 Admin page not available

Hi, Two days ago I saw on linksys website new firmware and decided to upgrade.I guess the installation went wrong, and my router WRT54G ver.6 ended up faulty. The problem is that I cannot access the router's Admin page (http://192.168.1.1), the browser gives me message "connection interrupted - The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." The power light on the router when it starts is steady, no blinking. I can ping the router and as far as I can see it's fully functional in its default mode. I can access internet via cable and wifi. The ssid is Linksys.
I tried all kinds of hard reset, I guess evertything I could find on your forum.
Is there hope for my router or is it "Bricked"?
    Thanks for your Help
    S...

    Hard reset your router -
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Also make sure that your computer is set to 'Obtain IP Address Automatically' , disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer before trying to access the setup page...
If it does not work try connecting a different computer/laptop to the router's ethernet port and see if you can open the setup page...

i haven't installed the instance, I have found the installation already made in this machine.

Well changing the DBSNMP password should not be that hard:
    sqlplus / as sysdba
    SQL> alter user dbsnmp identified by MyNewPassword;

  • Web-Auth Admin Page not loading

I have a WLC 2504 Controller which is set up for guest wireless using the Web-Auth feature / Lobby Ambassador.
When I web browse to the Controller and enter my credentials no page is displayed.
The log file displays the following error:
#CLI-3-LOGIN_FAILED: cliutil.c:632 Login failed. User:lobby-admin, Service type:11. unknown service type.
However when I run a debug aaa events I see the following event that the user passed authentication.
*emWeb: Mar 17 18:54:53.120: Authentication succeeded for lobby-admin
    The wireless controller version 7.6.130.0
There is genuinely nothing fancy about the set up and done these loads of times.
I have tried this with Google Chrome, IE and Firefox using both HTTPS and HTTP and it's still exactly the same problem.
    Regards
    Greg

Which authentication protocol do you want use and does the request from the WLC hit the correct policy on the authentication server?
If you want to use radius as the authentication protocol you need to return the radius "Service-Type" attribute with value "Callback Administrative" for a lobby admin user. If you go with tacacs you need to use role based authentication. For example "role1=ALL" gives the user access to all the tabs in the GUI.

  • Hyperlinks in Web Admin Client not working | BPC 10

    Hi all
    We are running:
    BPC10
    SP 13
    IE9
    Office 2010
2 of our admin users have been haviing problems with the 'Launch' menu on the homepage of the BPC web interface homepage.
This happens several times per day and in different environments. but there does not appear to be a pattern which might cause this.  Once the problem happens (no links can be launched in the launch menu) the user has to log off and then back on.  The user is trying to click the link "Planning and Consolidation Administration" when this happens
Has anyone else experienced this problem ?  Any suggestions on how to fix / capture the error ?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Hi Bishwajit
I can only really send you a screenshot of the admin launch panel where none of the links are clickable.
    Any ideas ?

  • Oracle forms 9i returns html page , not GUI

    Hello there,
I just installed Oracle 10g(9.0.4) DS and coneecting to a database on another PC.I haven't changed any default configuration after installing.
When i run an Oracle forms 9i , it returns an html page with HTML tags in it , i am expecting the GUI when i run it. Is it something with formsweb.config ?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Try setting FORMS90_HIDE_OBR_PARAMS to false in the Windows registry. This is needed because of the way the new feature of hiding the userid and password in the URL is implemented prior to 10.1.2. In 10.1.2 there should not be a problem. But in the meantime, the workaround is to set FORMS90_HIDE_OBR_PARAMS to false.
This parameter does not exist in the registry by default. To add it:
From the Windows Start menu, choose Run, type regedit, and click OK.
Expand the registry nodes HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ORACLE.
Make a backup copy of this key by right-clicking it and selecting Export from the context menu.
Select one of the HOME nodes beneath the ORACLE node (the one for Developer Suite). Ensure that you have opened the correct node by verifying that the key FORMS90_PATH exists in that node.
From the Registry Editor menu, select Edit > New > String Value. Type in the name FORMS90_HIDE_OBR_PARAMS.
Double-click FORMS90_HIDE_OBR_PARAMS and in the Value data field enter false, then click OK.
    Close the registry editor.
Now when you run a form from Forms Builder, it should show parameters in the URL, but it should run fine.

  • Once website is open unable to select or order product-yahoo 404 page not found

www.paulayoung.com, page loads, I can look at all the pictures under their respective categories but once I click on a specific product to choose the particulars it suddenly takes me to a page that says "oops, Sorry, the page you were looking for could not be found on Yahoo! Search.
    Showing related results for: http://search.yahoo.com/&nrd=1&fr=slv404-tyc.
Is this a yahoo problem? I don't seem to get any answers from them either. Thanks for whatever help you can give me.

I use firefox for most, but I went into the website on internet explorer, which I detest, and it worked just fine.

  • Web Authentication - Web login page not displayed

Cisco 4402 WLC running version 5.2.193.0
    Access Points: AIR-LAP1142N
I have configured an SSID for WebAuthentication. When a wireless client logs into the WLAN the PC will associate to the AP but will then stop at the WEBAUTH_REQD stage.
Internet Explorer will show the attmept to redirect to the virtual port at 1.1.1.1 but will not bring up the login page.
    IE shows : https://1.1.1.1/login.html?redirect=www.google.co.ukhttp://www.google.co.uk/
The network is a flat network so this SSID is using the management interface.
DHCP is being provided by the controller for this WLAN.
I know the classic design should be for this to be implemented on a separate VLAN but my customer has not VLANed his network yet and this is planned at a later stage. I have implemented this on a flat network before and it has worked.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I faced exactly the same problem as you have described above. The following is what fixed it for me, i am sure u try it to might fix it for u as well.
In my scenario i found that my WLC controller had cipher-option sslv2 disabled. I enabled it and that resolved the issue for me.
This is what needs to be done in order to do it :-
It's best to enable it on the WLC and this is done from the CLI. It requires a reboot.
    ssh to the WLC
    enter the following command:-
    WLC>config network secureweb cipher-option sslv2 enable
    and then reboot.
Once the WLC reboots u can check the status by issuing the following command:-
    WLC>show network summary
The output should look similar to the following
    RF-Network Name............................. GTCR-CH-RF-GA
    Web Mode.................................... Enable
    Secure Web Mode............................. Enable
Secure Web Mode Cipher-Option High.......... Disable
Secure Web Mode Cipher-Option SSLv2......... Enable
As u can see the Secure Web Mode Cipher-Option SSLv2 is now enabled.
    This should work.
Hope this helps and all the best.

  • Trapping "Page Not Found" in Oracle 10g

I am using PL/SQL to update tables. I have to grant EXECUTE on these packageas to PUBLIC since they are being called by an HTML form:
    <form action="/pls/portal/procname?PARM1=x&PARM2=x">
However, if the type of the parameters passed is wrong (such as an invalid date or number), the ORACLE error results in a PAGE NOT FOUND from the server.
How can I trap these errors from the PL/SQL Cartridge?
