Oracle XE Uninstalling Beta2 and installing the production
Hi
I have uninstalled oracle xe beta2 in windows by deleting the directories and removing the services manually from the registry. After that i tried to install the production version, i am not able to. It is giving an error
"Error applying transforms. Verify that specified transform path are valid
c:\windows\installer\...\1033.mst."
After that as per the docs i tried using windows "Add/Remove programmes" , i am not able to do this
Please help with a solution.
I was able to uninstall the Old Agent using the following command from all of the RAC instances. Can someone help me how can I install the Agent w/o using OUI.
./runInstaller -deinstall -silent "REMOVE_HOMES={/oracle/product/10.2.0/oem_1/agent10g}" -removeallfiles

After I updated to 3.6.8 I started noticing on a game I play at UniversalCriminal.com that randomly when I click on a link, firefox will load the appropriate page and as soon as it finishes loading that page it will refresh or reload the same page. It doesn't happen on any particular link it just happens randomly, and not all the time but most of the time. I tried reverting back to an earlier version of firefox but it still happened. Doing that can cause all kinds of problems because not all servers like such changes, so you can try to reset those prefs on the about:config page.<br />

I have a problem with Adobe Creative Cluod. Basically after installing the application when I open it I do not charge adobe products but remains all white screen. I tried to uninstall it and install it several times but it does not work.

Hi there, i have an issue installing oracle forms and reports. its throwing this error"INST-07408: Unable to install or configure the product on a 32-bit JVM on a 64-bit machine. Make sure to install and configure the product in supported modes." on step 5. I have jdk 64bit installed, weblogic server was installed successfully but iam getting stuck somehow.

I just got a message on macbook pro: The system extension "//System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBethernetHost.kext" was installed improperly. Please try uninstalling it, or contact the product 's vendor for an update.

Maybe your looking in the wrong "Library". On my Mavericks; I open the HD to see a folder below the Library Folder called "Systems". Open the Systems Folder to see a "Library Folder". Open that library folder to see "Extensions folder". Open the extensions folder to find the "AppleUSBethernetHost.kext" and delete that extention. Following Lanny's post, do this:
1st- Close iTunes.
2nd- Delete the system extension “AppleUSBethernetHost.kext” from here:
//System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBethernetHost.kext
3rd- go to iTunes 11.4 download, here: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
click on the "Download Now" link.
4th- Find the downloaded iTunes11.4.dmg file, open it, now open the Install iTunes.pkg
After the re-install as above I got the successfully installed window and no “pop up”

I want to create another 2 Servers with same Operating system to separate the application and the Database to be each one on separate server (Multi Nodes),
And Migrate the Production Server Data on It?
And i need to know how many days it will takes because we are live now ?

why is it when i update my status on facebook from iphone it splits the updates into two differents boxes with some funky symbols at the beginning.. I have uninstall facebook and installed it over and it still does it. only the facebook IPHONE app where it says to update staus text to FBOOK i have already update my phone too.
if i go on the facebook site and update there through a brower on iphone it will work fine just cant us IPHONE mobile upload, . But its a pain of not using my IPHONE APP for facebook cause it does that.The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.

On my old iTunes sofwear iTune store would not open. I uninstalled iTunes and downloaded the new updates and installed it. Now I get a message that said " The file iTunes Libary.itl" cannot be read becouse it was created by a newer version of iTunes.I did everything it said to do inarticle HT1923 Removing and reinstalling iTunes, Quick Time, and other sofware components for Windows Vista or Windows 7. Now what?
Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

I have a pc that is one year old and the hard drive is crashing we use it only for quick books to run our small business I would like to buy a macmini and install the OS from the pc to the apple product i will not use the pc after, can i use the OS off the pc or do I have to purchase another?
I think you can get Windows 7 for around $99. Install the 64bit version as the 32bit version will not be able to use all your new computer's ram if you have more than about 3.5gb.
Back up your quick books data now before the old hard drive dies. You can copy your data over to your new installation of Windows and quick books.

I just downloaded and installed the new iTunes on a Toshiba Satelite of some age. It was just completely reformated and updated with XP. iTunes will not open. The terms page comes up and when I agree it disappears. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Photoshop cs4 & cs5 will not deactivate

When I set a font in iweb (nothing fancy, just arial) and then publish the site. Safari does not understand it and automatically goes to its default font. The fonts look perfect in firefox too... Seems like quite a significant mistake on apple's part
