Oracle10g Release R2 patch?

Hi,
I upgraded to Oracle 10g R2 (32 bit) on win.I want to know whether there is a patch for this release?
I used EM Control for applying the patch set. It will return the following error (no patchset lists):
Failed to find the release name specified. Possible reasons include, the release name is invalid, ...
Does anyone know whether Oracle has released a patch for 10.2.0.1.0 ?
Thanks,

Thanks for your help.
I must have made an error with I ran the upgrade from 10g Release 2, HtmlDB 1.6 to 2.0. The HtmlDB home/Apache/modplsql/marvel.conf contained an incorrect alias to the marvel directory.

  • UncommittedDataWarning in Jdev Release 1 Patch Set 1 (11.1.1.2.0)

    Folks,
Does anyone know whether ER 8909566 has been implemented in Jdev Release 1 Patch Set 1 (11.1.1.2.0) that was released last week? I tried looking at the updated patterns page for 11.1.1.2.0 at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/adf/patterns/index111102.html but this page does not list the unsaved warning pattern mentioned under 11.1.1.1.0 at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/adf/patterns/11.1.1.1.0/UnsavedDataWarning.html
    Thanks,

  • When is Apple gonna release a patch for iTunes to sync apps?

I already bought the apps the day it first came out and i can't even sync the january software upgrade to my ipod touch. i'm not about to re-sync my ipod and lose all my music just for 5 little apps. i refuse to do that. i wanna know when apple is gonna release a patch for itunes (7.6.1) so i can sync the upgrade file to my ipod touch without having to lose my music collection?
if the patch doesn't come out by the end of the month, i'm gonna ask for my money back.

well, the thing is, some of my mp3's aren't on my computer since i probably deleted them off my hard drive at one point or if i was using another computer to add my music. i have an ipod video that has the same exact collection as my ipod touch, but i like to have my playlists a certain way and i don't want to start organizing it the way i like it again. its such a pain.
i just want apple to at least say something about a patch. they're always quiet about everything, even something as simple as updates.

  • Kernel Release 700 Patch Number 83

    Hi,
    I need help!!!
We load the kernel last night and the Instance won't start then re-applied the old kernel we have the same result.  DO you guy have any ideas SAP ask me to IPL the system and don't have any luck.
We are on Kernel Release 700 patch number 80 for 2 weeks after the upgrade.
I received this message on the STARTSAP job and looking for the upgrade directory.
    Message . . . . :   collectSystemInfo: could not open
    profile directory "/usr/sap/putr3/DEV/SYS/profile".
    Ramon Mora

    Hi Ramon,
as discussed with you, this problem occured because of your RMVSAP before. Therefore the IGS was deleted.
As you didn't implement note 937000 before, it was still deleted after APYSAP and therefore SAP was "unhappy" and stopped immediately after trying to start :-((
As the IGS in R3 systems is very RARELY used, a common workaround is to patch the start-profile that way, that IGS is no longer started.

  • 11g Release 1 Patch Set 3 (WLS 10.3.4)

    Hi.
While creating new server in OEPE Helios(11.1.1.6) I found that WLS 10.3.4 is available for selection. However I didnt find any information neither links to download it. Only 10.3.3 is available.
When and where it is\would be available for download?
    Thanks

    frf,
Hello, as part of the WebLogic 10.3.4 release on friday - we verified JPA 2.0 functionality for enterprise users using JPA as their persistence pattern. The main issues were JPA 2.0 XSD validation and JPA 2.0 container managed persistence unit injection.
The details of the following post outline what happens out of the box and how JPA 2.0 can be officially enabled on JEE5 compliant WebLogic 10.3.4 install +(with or without the QWG8 patch)+
In 10.3.3.0 you were required to use the FilteringClassLoader via the *<wls:prefer-application-packages>* addition to your application managed persistence unit - this workaround is now deprecated and not required in 10.3.4.0 for both application and container managed persistence contexts.
Specifically we will start retesting EE applications using a SSB injected @PersistenceContext container managed JTA transactional JPA 2.0 persistence units with/without JPA 2.0 XSD elements.
I verified the server and it is using SVN rev# *8635 from 6 Dec 2010* https://fisheye2.atlassian.com/changelog/eclipselink/?cs=8635
Essentially in order to enable JPA 2.0 functionality on WebLogic 10.3.4 shipped on 14 Jan 2011 - you apply the QWG8 patch below or manually edit your server classpath to put the JPA 2.0 persistence specification API jar and the com.oracle.jpa2support_1.0.0.0_2-0.jar ahead of the other liibraries on the classpath.
    commEnv.cmd: line 67
    @rem Set BEA Home
    set BEA_HOME=C:\opt\wls1034r20110115
@rem Enable JPA 2.0 functionality on WebLogic Server 10.3.4 with the following patch line for commEnv.cmd:67
set PRE_CLASSPATH=%BEA_HOME%\modules\javax.persistence_1.0.0.0_2-0-0.jar;%BEA_HOME%\modules\com.oracle.jpa2support_1.0.0.0_2-0.jarEverything is shipped with WebLogic 10.3.4 but JPA 1.0 is enabled by default so that this JEE5 capable server is backwards compatible with JEE5/JPA1 out of the box. Without the above patch you will see the following.

We have the required bundles in the modules directory...
    javax.persistence_1.0.0.0_2-0-0.jar (upgraded from 1-0-2)
    org.eclipse.persistence_1.0.0.0_2-1.jar (upgraded from 2-0)
A very quick test of a JPA 2.0 container managed app with the following persistence.xml in the ejb.jar works as detailed below.
There are 3 issues we must check.
    1) JPA 2.0 XSD parsing errors: as expected there are no more JPA 2.0 schema parsing issues.
    2) New JPA 2.0 schema elements like the *<shared-cache-mode>NONE</shared-cache-mode>* element - this passes validation but we need to verify runtime functionality
    3) JPA 2.0 runtime API like a entityManager.getMetamodel(); call on the Servlet or Statless session bean
    4) JPA 2.0 weaving/instrumentation - Again we need to verify something like weaving of Entities contaiing lazy IndirectLists are weaved properly by the container.
Note: All testing in this post is on a WebLogic 10.3.4.0 install out-of-the-box. The only modification I made was in creating a derby 10.5.3.0 JTA global datasource "localJTA" on the server - and drop a container managed JPA 2.0 app as an EAR in the autodeploy directory on the default user domain.
    <persistence version="2.0" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence/persistence_2_0.xsd">

            <jta-data-source>localJTA</jta-data-source>
<shared-cache-mode>NONE</shared-cache-mode><!-- shared-cache-mode must come after any class definitions (usually SE only) - the JPA schema is ordered -->

            </properties>
</persistence-unit>For 3) we get the following exception out of the box on a servlet if we do not apply the above mentioned patch below - because the container defaults to Java EE 5 functionality - or JPA 1.0

    Enabling JPA2 support
    1) install the QWG8 patch, or
    2) manually add the com.oracle.jpa2support_1.0.0.0_2-0.jar ahead of the server classpath by following the instructions in the documentation at
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13720/using_toplink.htm#EJBAD1309
or doing it manually by modifying the following line
    C:\opt\wls10340_pub110115\wlserver_10.3\common\bin\commEnv.cmd
    set PRE_CLASSPATH=%BEA_HOME%\modules\javax.persistence_1.0.0.0_2-0-0.jar;%BEA_HOME%\modules\com.oracle.jpa2support_1.0.0.0_2-0.jar

com.oracle.jpa2support_1.0.0.0_2-0.jar forensicsI had a look at the patch jar com.oracle.jpa2support_1.0.0.0_2-0.jar that WebLogic 10.3.4 ships with that allows installers to enable JPA 2.0 (JSR-317) support to superceed the default JPA 1.0 (JSR-220) support. It looks like the container proxy code for container managed EntityManagerFactory and EntityManager $Proxy objects has been updated so that a JPA 2.0 EntityManager $Proxy object get injected with the proper API level object via the InvocationHandlerFactory, FactoryInterceptor. The Query proxy has been updated as well. There is a fix for Kodo(OpenJPA) and OpenJPA related to the recent change and deprecation of certain functions of those providers. The EclipseLink JPA 2.0 provider (as the provider for TopLink) did not need weblogic changes beyond placing the JPA javax.peristence 2.0 specification jar higher on the classpath.

  • Kernel Upgrade Release 640 Patch 175

    Dear Basis Gurus,
We are planning to upgrade SAP Kernel for Release 640 and Patch 109.
We have referred oss note Note 1027100 - CST Patch Collection 08 2007 and this note suggest to go for patch level :
    4.6D:  2307
    6.40:   171
    7.00:    98
I have checked the service market place and I didn't find the Patch Level 171. Instead I foud Patch level 175.
    1) Can you please let me know if since Patch Level 171 is not the latest, can I got for Patch level 175 ?
    2) Can you also please let me know which files I need to download other than SAPEXE_175-10004469.SAR and SAPEXEDB_175-10004468.SAR ?
Should I need to download dw_193-10004469.sar and R3trans_192-10004469.SAR and tp_193-10004469.sar ? If you see this has the patch level 193 and for R3trans it is 192 ?
How to decide for Patch Level 175, which other files can go ?
Do we really need to replace other files like R3trans, tp ? or only those in SAPEX*.SAR ?
    3) What would be the correct approach ? I am planning to replace kernel 1st in Development system, then Consoldiation system and then Test system and then finally Production system ? is this correct approach ?
Any prompt help on this will be highly appreciated ?
    Thanks
    Best Regards
    CK

  • Release a patch from the concert in which it was generated.

Hello, I have a question .When I create a new patch this is a perfect copy of that concert. But if I try to do something as clear a strip, change its position, copy it or else I see that I can not do anything. Is there a way to make independent a new patch from the original concert which was originated? So you can edit it in its entirety?

Sorry but my first problem is an English really rough. I knew it was hard to explain, I try with an example: if I create an entire setup to the level of the concert then when I create a new patch with the "+" button at the top right, will create a new patch in all identical to the content of the concert. But in this new patch every strip displays the Mainstage icon at the top and is not editable except the very few aspects. You can not move, can not delete unless you do it at the concert level but then it will be deleted from all other pacth. And I do not find a solution to make it independent from the level of concert in which it was generated.
