Oracle8i install errors on RedHat 6.1

Question

When I try to run /mnt/cdrom/install/linux/runInst.sh I get the following error:

I am using redhat 6.1 with jdk 1.1.6 v5, Pentium II 350 , 256MB RAM and 9GB UWSCSI.

set as follows:
export DISPLAY=<ip address of PC>:0
it worked for me
