Oracle9i Startup Password box after login??? Cant bypass

I just installed Oracle 9i Personal Edition. I logged in with scott and tiger and that works, but then the Oracle 9i database tries to startup and there is a password box prompt that comes up on the screen. It asks for a password and none of these work
internal
oracle
scott
tiger
Someone please tell me what the password is or how to bypass it.
Thanks in advance!!!

My problem is exactly the same. I have tried manager as well. Doesn't work.

  • MBP not displaying to external monitor at startup, but does after login

After I installed Yosemite my MBP will not automatically display to my external monitor (HDMI) when I start it up. I have to first login to my MBP and then my external monitor is immediately recognized and my mirroring desktops works as intended...as it did before I upgraded to Yosemite. I have no idea why the signal to my external monitor doesn't/will not work upon system start up. Anyone out there know??

Did you find  a solution? I have the exact same problem. I just install Yosemite and did not have the problem before.

  • Function to validate APEX password entered after login within an app.

    Hi Folks.
I have a requirement that, one or two functions in my app require a password to be entered.
What I'd like to do is provide the user a password field where they enter their APEX password and I can then call a function to validate the password entered against the user's APEX password.
I know, if they have logged in then they have already entered their password! But this is to cater for the 'unattended' PC scenario where a malicious user if trying to impersonate a restricted user.
I'd like a simple way of incorporating APEX password validation from within the application on an ad-hoc basis for security sensitive tasks/actions.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be most grateful.
    Many thanks.
    Simon.

    Simon,
    Use apex_util.is_login_password_valid.
    function is_login_password_valid (
-- Checks the wwv_flow_fnd_users table to see if
-- username/password combo is valid within the current workspace (checking by security_group_id)
       p_username in varchar2 default null,
       p_password  in varchar2 default null)
       return boolean

  • Session state always invalid after login

    Hello community,
i have a functional login process which uses my own login with username and password. After login i branch to application start page, but this session now is different from the start login session, so every login is invalid and will branch to authentication scheme invalid page.
    My login url is: f?p=100:100:123456
After correct login (i have tested in the database with a lot of inserts into tmp_table)
i want to branch with the standard login procedure wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login() to page 1000.
The correct url is shown in the browser, but the current page is the login page 100, because (i think) the session is invalid. In the authentication theme the invalid session page is set to page 100.
I have tested several pages and always this page is branched.
So im shure, that the session state is always invalid after login.
    But why ????
    Has anyone an idea ?
    Thank you for responding.

    Hi Jari,
    problem was solved.
The IE8 has cached an invalid site.
I know now were it is come from.
I have an after submit process which sets the cookie with following code:
    owa_util.mime_header('text/html; charset=UTF-8;', FALSE);
    owa_cookie.send(
    name=>'DHW_COOKIE',
    value=>utl_raw.cast_to_raw(dbms_obfuscation_toolkit.md5(input_string => ':P100_REGCODE' || :P100_USERNAME ))
    owa_util.http_header_close;
But this results in display on the screen like html text without tags, so it looks like text on the screen header.
    It shows "content-type=text/html charset=WINDOWS 1252 .......
The cookie is not set to the disk and now the IE8 explorer is dead.
The described problem of this thread is shown.
If you close all sessions and restart IE8 then the error is fixed.
Also i have disabled the after submit process with setting the cookie.
So i live now without having a cookie set.
Do you have any idea for this behaviour ?

  • Strange arrow found in password box when loggin in...

Tried logging into my G4 today and my password didn't work. Noticed a little outlined arrow pointing up in the far right of the password box in login window. Does anyone know what that little arrow meant? Whatever it was it seemed to prevent me from using my password.
I shut down the computer and then little arrow was gone from password box and viola, by password worked.
Is it possible someone was in my G4 as a root user somehow? Even remotely? I didn't have any sharing open, except for Personal File Sharing and Printer Sharing....

Thank you Koinseb! Feeling ridiculous now... I had even called up Apple and they didn't know, go figure.
In any case, through my research (based on fear of someone else having access) I had found out about Secret Apple Remote Desktop users.... If a tech who worked on this G4 did find out my login UID and password, could they have set up a secret APD? If so, where would I be able to look in my computer to find out?

  • Cannot sign in to Skype on Desktop after upgrade - cannot fill in user id and password boxes

My Skype forced me to upgrade right before a phone call today (7/12/2015) (why can't you let me go about my business first and upgrade later?). After the upgrade, Skype failed to aunch, and I received the blank screen at login. I terminated the processes, rebooted, and restarted Skype. I get the login screen, and my user ID is in the pre-filled area, but I cannot change that or type in the user ID box,, and I cannot type in the password box. I also did a system restore to a few days ago, and the same thing is ahppening. I am running the latest Skype (the help dialog works from the login screeen and confrms this)and Windows 7. What should I do?

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie11-windows_7/cant-type-into-website-boxes-in-ie11windows-7/04b37fa0-d047-4577-9855-41e1930e8d60 As you can see, there might be several causes of this misbehaviour, and you should look of any antivirus/protection software installed on your computer. Meanwhile you can try to make use of the “legacylogin” workaround, which should enable login to Skype using the old legacy login window. However, you will not be able to login using Microsoft account (email address). Quit Skype. Make sure that you don’t see any Skype.exe processes in Windows Task Manager. If necessary, then stop these processes. Open this folder on your computer: C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\ You should see there the Skype application file (Skype.exe).  Right click on the Skype.exe file and select: Send to – Desktop (create shortcut). Right click on the newly created shortcut and select Properties and then the Shortcut tab. In the Target field you will see now: "C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" Click with your mouse on the text in the Target field and move your curser one space after the last quotation sign and add the text /legacylogin. The text in the Target field should now read: "C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe"  /legacylogin Click OK to save the changes. Start Skype using this new shortcut. Try now login to Skype?

  • Stuck at login screen without password box & only cancel button

I'm having trouble logging into one of my Desktops with Windows 7. I had simply locked my desktop and when I came backup, on waking up the monitor, I noticed that the screen shows the text "Press ctrl+alt+del to login" with the Windows 7 logo underneath
on a black background. This used to be the default blue wallpaper earlier. On pressing ctrl+alt+del as usual, I see no user account displayed and no text box to enter the password. Only the "Ease of Access", "Cancel" & Shutdown buttons are showing
on a black background. I can't enter the password anywhere. I restarted the machine to check if the problem disappears but to no avail. It still doesn't gives me the password box and a black background.
I've tried memory tests and startup tests from the boot menu and its still not fixed. Even safe mode gives me the same login screen without a place to enter my password. When I try to Remote Desktop to this machine from another machine, it gives me the same
3 buttons on the default wallpaper and no place to enter the password or select a user.
Any ideas on how to fix this. Any help will be really appreciated.

According to your description, please try the following methods for a test.
    Method 1:
I would suggest you to run SFC scan to check for missing or corrupted system files.
Run System File Checker (SFC) scan to fix any corrupt system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link :
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
    Method 2:
I would suggest you to perform a system restore
    You can refer the link:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore
If there is not any working Restore Point, please compare the following 2 registry tree with a working computer.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify

  • Can't login to iMac, no text entered into password box

I had the issue of my iMac going to black screen prior to the login screen.  I tried using voiceover to login, and got to the login password text box, but when I tried to enter text there was nothing - no clicks, and no password getting entered.  I thought I was just doing something wrong.  I finally used a different fix and now the machine boots all the way to the login screen, showing my main, guest and other icons.  When I click on the main icon, it shows the password box.  But I can't type anything in it.  I can push keys all I want, but no dots show in the box and the cursor doesn't move.  I can log on as a guest, which is how I'm typing this now.  Obviously the keyboard works, there is something blocking the password from being input into the password box.  Help?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is only suitable for advanced users, preferably with command-line experience. It works sometimes. There's no assurance it will work in your case. If you don’t understand the directions or don’t feel able to carry them out, STOP.
Back up all data if you haven’t already done so. There are ways to back up, even if you can’t log in. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore everything to the state it’s in now. If you’re not absolutely sure you can do that,STOP.
Briefly, you need to delete the following file:
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist
If you already know how to do that, you can skip the rest of this message. Do it, and try again to log in.
    Step 1
Start up in single-user mode by holding down the key combination command-S at the startup chime. If you’re using an external USB keyboard, it must be plugged directly into a built-in port on the Mac, not into a hub. Release the keys when you see a black screen with scrolling white text. In this mode, there’s no graphical interface; just a command line. Initially, you can’t make any changes to files.
    Step 2
When the text stops scrolling, and you see a line ending in a pound sign (“#”), type the following command:
    mount -uw /
You must type the command exactly as given, with no mistakes. If you don’t feel able to do that, STOP.
    Press the return key.
    Step 3
    Enter the following command:
    rm -i /L*/*/*login*
Again, you must get it exactly right. You should be prompted to remove a file named exactly "com.apple.loginwindow.plist". Press the Y key and then return to confirm. Press the N key and then return if you get any other response
    Step 4
    Enter the command:
    exit
Press return. The text will start scrolling again, and then the system will restart. Try again to log in.
