OracleServiceXE service is missing

I have successfully installed Oracle Database 10g Express Edition on my machine. All the services are working as expected. I can create tables, store data ...
But after few days suddenly my db stopped working, when i checked the services i found out that OracleServiceXE service was not present and OracleXETNSListener service was stopped.
I re-installed the oracle again and everything got in place ... but after few days same thing happened. I have windows 7 as OS.
Please provide some inputs, i have no clue why this is happening.

Ya, after installation of a fresh copy, all the services are in place and i can very well access my Database and perform all kind of operations. It happens after few days randomly and things start falliing apart.
OracleServiceXE goes missing and OracleXETNSListener stops by itself.
Below is the log from Listener.log

  • The directory service is missing mandatory configuration information, and is unable to determine the ownership of floating single-master operation roles.

    We are in the process of removing a child domain from the forest and are down to two DCs. These are both Server 2008r2 sp1 servers, one physical and virtual (PDC). When I try to remove a DC (not the PDC emulator) I get the following error:
    The operation failed because:
    Active Directory Domain Services could not transfer the remaining data in directory partition DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=mydomain,DC=local to
    Active Directory Domain Controller \\V-Svr03.mydomain.local.
    The directory service is missing mandatory configuration information, and is unable to determine the ownership of floating single-master operation roles."
    I have checked replication with repadmin /showrepl and all connections were successful. The dcdiag /test:kccEvent test on all servers passed.
    Most DCdiag tests are successful. The only failure is on NCSecDesc when running dcdiag /test:NCSecDesc
       Testing server: Default-First-Site\DC1-DEV-OFC
          Starting test: NCSecDesc
             Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS doesn't have

             access rights for the naming context:
             DC=ForestDnsZones,DC=hookemup,DC=local
             ......................... DC1-DEV-OFC failed test NCSecDesc
    In researching this I find "If you do not plan to add an RODC to the forest, you can disregard this error."
    We have not successfully run ADprep /rodcPrep nor do we plan on having any Read-Only DCs, so I think we can ignor this error. We did try running ADprep /rodcPrep but got an LDAP error which I can duplicate if this is important.
    Schema and Naming FSMOs are on a DC higher in the forest. RID, PDC, and Infrastructure FSMOs for the child domain are on the Virtual server (PDC).
    Any guidance on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated as I have no more hair on my head to pull.

    Ok... I ran repadmin /showreps /v again and it shows no errors

    Since a few weeks all my iTunes Updates fail to install. After the installation trial, the previous installation is damaged – a service is missing :
    To fix this I have to deinstall all components of Apple Software in exact order as you reveal on your web site. Than reinstall iTunes from Scratch.
    I am using Windos 7 64 bit Professional German edition.

    Hi,
    to see the cause of Windows 8 update failures, we must look for error messages in the following log files:
    Please run the Windows Explorer and go to the folder "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\" and copy all files to your document folder, also copy the setupapi.dev.log from the folder C:\Windows\Inf, the "C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log" and the file "C:\Windows\winsxs\poqexec.log"
    to your document folder (otherwise you can't upload it), zip all files into 1 ZIP and upload the zip to your SkyDrive [1] and post a link here.

  • Web service scenario - Missing or Invalid Receiver Agreement

    Dear,
    We are on SAP PI 7.11 SP11 and facing a problem with a synchronous scenario SOAP <-> SAP PI <-> ABAP proxy.
    The Service Interfaces contain multiple operations and operation/message mappings are in place.
    Also, configuration on the ID side is done.
    The WSDL is retrieved from the sender agreement and imported into soapUI.
    All seems there and the cache is ok, but still we face the error Missing or Invalid Receiver Agreement in the message monitor.
    I already found OSS note 1739173, describing the problem, but that seems to be for asynchronous messages only with QoS EO and EOIO.
    Or do we need that anyway?
    Any leads what could solve this strange problem?
    thanks a lot.
    Dimitri

    Hi,
    Both outbound and inbound service interface have multiple operations.
    The configuration:
    ESR
    Outbound and inbound service interfaces containing 5 operations each.
    All synchronous, interface pattern stateless.
    Outbound service interface is linked to an external message.
    The Inbound service interface is linked to a message type.
    For every operation, a operation mapping and message mapping is available.
    Integration Directory
    seperate configuration objects. No ICO is used.
    Sender Agreement
    no validation
    Software Component Version of Sender Interface is pointing to the SWCV, containing the outbound service interface
    sender SOAP communication channel
    HTTP
    SOAP 1.1
    Do not use SOAP envelope enabled
    QoS is best effort
    Receiver Determination
    software component version left blank. So, no operation-specifics mentioned.
    type of receiver determination is standard
    receiver is the SAP back end system (business system)
    Interface Determination
    Software Component Version of Sender Interface is pointing to the SWCV, containing the outbound service interface
    for each operation, a operation mapping, inbound service interface and namespace is indicated
    Receiver Agreement
    receiver XI adapter
    HTTP 1.0
    XI 3.0
    HTTP destination to the SAP back end
    Transfer hop list enabled
    Software Component Version of receiver Interface is pointing to the SWCV, containing the inbound service interface
    Please note
    the message mapping is a XSLT mapping
    tests with single-operation service interfaces are successful.
    Kind regards,
    Dimitri

  • Tnslistener Service is missing in services.msc in windows 2003 10gr2

    Hi All.
    I got one error in my server(windows 2003 10gr2)....Protocol adaptor error(ora-12560).
    In services <tnslistener> is missing(I don't know how it is missing), because of this am not able to connect to my database through TOAD and OEM, I can connect to my database @ command line.
    I tried all the possible ways.
    I am tired now, can you please tel me a suggestion to get rid of this problem. Is that necessary to format the server and recreate the database using a backup if there is no option.
    Please reply me asap as i need to load some flat files in database using TOAD.
    Waiting for you response
    Thanks,
    Rajini.V

    Hi All,
    I have resolved this issue,I don't know if this is the best way or not.
    I have reinstalled the database and Imported the latest backup in to the database and it was working fine.
    later i got one error saying that datafile is missing for sysaux tablespace and needs recovery usings archives.
    I lost all my archive files where i cannot recover the missing datafile.
    \again my headache started ....................
    I again created the brand new database and created the tablespaces which are additional to the default tablespaces that are created when database is created and imported the latest backup file in to new database.
    this solved my problem.
    Please let me know your advice on this.
    Thanks,
    Rajini.

  • SCCM Report Services Instance missing

    Hi,
    Been trying to troubleshoot this for a day and had already done the following:
    1.
    http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2012/10/10/reporting-services-site-role-setup-instance-blankempty/
    2. Reinstalled reporting services on SQL Database Server
    3.
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/4479e73e-8a19-4c7e-9418-b36770656b9b/action?threadDisplayName=sccm-2012-reporting-point-server-instance-blank
    I'm not sure what I am missing but regardless after restarting countless times and troubleshooting, I still can't get the reporting services setup on our SCCM 2012 server. The database is SQL 2012 SP1. Both are on a different VM instance. I'm getting a blank
    value on the Reporting point server instance.
    The good part is I can get the website working but getting the reports via web by opening it on the reports services manager on the SQL server. Other than that, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.
    Any suggestion?

  • Navigating from ME49 to ME47 tcode 'General object service' icon missing

    Hi All ,
      We have scenario wherein we are navigating from transaction ME49 to ME47 .
      In ME47 'General Object Services' icon is missing .
      When we direcly go to ME47  , it is working fine .
    If any of you come across this issue , Pl.provide inputs .
    Thanks in Advance,

    1.5-3 minute boot up as opposed to 15-20 seconds
    And
    why it takes a long time to load a lot of things.
    I have restored this
    from a time machine partition.
    TimeMachine is only a backup and restore, it won't fix issues in software and according to your information, doesn't even optimize the restore for best performance on boot hard drives.
    What you need to do to regain your speed is to understand how your machine works
    Why is my computer slow?
    Fix any and all issues in software following this list of fixes
    ..Step by Step to fix your Mac
    Then follow this defrag method I've outlined
    How to safely defrag a Mac's hard drive
    Most commonly used backup methods
    There shouldn't be need to reinstall OS X fresh unless your having file structure issues which if they are should appear when in the Steps, which then a zero erase and install will cure as well as any bad sector issues, the defrag step wouldn't be necessarry on a freshly installed system obviously as the files are written all together, not in portions all over the drive.
    Hope this assists.

  • SQL SERVICES ARE MISSING IN CONFIGURATION MANAGER

    hi
    We have recently migrated SQL2008 to SQL2012 enterprise edition on WINDOWS 2012,and everything is running fine.
     Today i have just opened SQLCONFIGURATIONMANAGER for normal services checkup,but i couldn't find any SQL services in it expect integration services.i have checked in SERVICES.MSC and all services are running, this happened suddenly before it was alright(i
    could see all the services)could some one please help me in finding the reason for sudden missing of the SQL services in CONFIGURATION MANAGER and way to get them back.
    cheers

    OK, so that is strange enough and looks like permissions issue with the WMI. There is an article for SQL 2008R2, which you can check and see if the solution helps you somehow - http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2492/why-is-sql-server-configuration-manager-missing-services/

  • Destination Service API - missing indirect class reference

    I'm trying to use the destination service api as described in the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/17/d609b48ea5f748b47c0f32be265935/content.htm">documentation</a>, but Eclipse can't compile the code due to an indirectly referenced class called com.sap.security.core.server.util0.IDEException.
    References to com.sap.exception, security.class and tc/sec/destination/interface have already been set. According to the documentation, there should also be a reference to tc/sec/destination/service, but I don't have such an option in the context menu "Add Additional Libraries".
    So, where do I find the missing IDEException?
    Best regards,
    Frank

    The class com.sap.security.core.server.util0.IDEException is in library com.sap.exception. That's correct. Don't worry about that.
    You have to add those 3 additional libraries to your EJB Project with the right-click over project option:
    security.class
    tc/sec/destination/interface
    com.sap.exception.
    You have to add 4 references in your application-j2ee-engine.xml: : 3 to those 3 libraries and another one to the service, which doesn't appear in the popup list. Type it manually. The correct name is "tcsecdestination~service" (not /), and reference target type is "service".
    If this doesn't work, you can add to the 'java build path' of your EJB Project the libraries:
    tc_sec_destinations_interface.jar
    tc_sec_destinations_service.jar
    ... you can find them into the path of your server:
    /usr/sap/<SID>/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/interfaces
    /usr/sap/<SID>/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/service
    (some people has had problem with correct versions)
    If you are using DCs, you have to add those 3 libraries as Used DCs in your EJB Project. And set the 4 references in application-j2ee-engine.xml
    Hope this helps you. Don't forget the reward points
    Best regards.

  • Analysis Service Database missing post reboot

    Hi
    Post recycle of Analysis Service we found one of the database went missing. So we tried attaching it from the local folder. But its failing with below error:
    The detach log '\\?\E:\SalesCube_Monthly.0.db\SalesCube_Monthly.detach_log' could not be found in the specified database folder.
    The database cannot be attached because an error occurred while loading the detach log from the file '\\?\E:\SalesCube_Monthly.0.db\SalesCube_Monthly.detach_log'. One possible reason is that database is already attached in ReadWrite mode to another server instance.
    As we did not detach the database, this file detach_log did not get created. Is there any other way, we can attach or recover this database ?

    Hi kalisubbu1,
    Please follow the steps suggested in this related thread
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlanalysisservices/thread/231ba420-d8da-4945-b1e7-afc185128bb4  to see if it works for you.
    You could try stopping the SSAS service on the new server, copying both the <database>.db folder and the <database>.db.xml file to the data folder on the new server and then restarting the SSAS service.
    This should work as long as this database is not what is causing the other server not to be able to start and that you do not have any remote partitions or data stored outside of the data folder.

  • WT 2.5 / WT 2.5.2 - Web Services problem - Missing end tag??

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create a J2ME web services client using the wireless toolkit. I used the Stub Generator to create my STUB from my WSDL file.
    With the Wireless Toolkit 2.5 I was getting a "Missing end tag for body or envelope" error when I invoked a web method. I read that this was a problem with that version of the Wireless Toolkit (a parsing problem).
    I then upgraded to Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2. When running my app on the emulator, the "Missing end tag for body or envelope" error went away, and I was successfully invoking web methods, and the results were being parsed fine. However, when I put this .jar on to my handset (a Nokia E70) I still see the "Missing end tag for body or envelope" error!
    Does anyone know why this is?

    The IDE i'm using is NetBeans. I have WTK2.5 and WTK2.5.2 installed. When I flick the "emulator platform" from WTK2.5 to WTK2.5.2 the error "Missing end tag for body or envelope" does go away, and the SOAP response is successfully parsed. However, when I flick it back to WTK2.5, I get the error back. The SOAP message is being sent properly, and a good response is returned. The problem is with parsing the response. WTK2.5 can't seem to parse it, but WTK2.5.2 can.
    So I can get the application working fine (when the emulator platform is set to WTK2.5.2), but the problem is, I still get the error when I install the app on any phone, and I don't understand why???
    If anyone can shed any light on this, i'd be very grateful.
    p.s I've tested the app on the following handsets:
    Sony Ericsson P1i, K800i
    Nokia E70, E61

    Hi,
    in case you want some specific text,you can raise the exception  like this in your function module.
    MESSAGE I001(ZPLATINO)  RAISING EXCEPT1.
    message class: ZPLATINO
    exception        : EXCEPT1
    message no 001,
    message text : CHECK ERROR PUSHKAR1
    and your response will be like.:
    <soap-env:Envelope xmlns:soap-env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap-env:Body>
              <soap-env:Fault>
                   <faultcode>soap-env:Client</faultcode>
                   <faultstring xml:lang="en">EXCEPT1</faultstring>
                   <detail>
                        <n0:Zpl.Exception xmlns:n0="urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style">
                             <Name>EXCEPT1</Name>
                             <Text>CHECK ERROR PUSHKAR1</Text>
                             <Message>
                                  <ID>ZPLATINO</ID>
                                  <Number>001</Number>
                             </Message>
                        </n0:Zpl.Exception>
                   </detail>
              </soap-env:Fault>
         </soap-env:Body>
    </soap-env:Envelope>
    I think this solves your problem.
    points..points..:)
