Orange UK website

Has anyone had any luck accessing their current usage on the Orange website. I have one of their plans and would like to monitor my usage to avoid paying excess charges. The website has links to current usage which do not show any data having been used.

I've been speaking to the help desk for a month, to no avail. Since my iPhone is PAYG, the app won't allow another number to be added (no account number).
The following is from the App Help site:

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • Orange livebox connection problem

    has anyone managed to connect their i-phone to their orange livebox? Orange tech support in India is hopeless...and Apple support in the UK is equally useless. I cant believe that these two massive players in the global communications industry cannot deal with a problem like this.

    What kinds of problems are you having?
    Did you search the Orange Livebox website? Since the iPhone settings are somewhat similar to what a macintosh would use, I found this on their website.

  • Unlocking an iPhone 5 bought from Apple, locked to Orange

    Hi all, hope someone here can help me.
    I bought my mum a 2nd hand iPhone 5 for Chrsitmas. The phone was bought from Apple directly so was unlocked but the bloke used his contract Orange sim in it for a few weeks. That sim is no out of contract and the bloke has left them.
    My mum wants to use her 3 PAYG sim in it but Orange have now locked it which seems harsh seeing as the phone was never in contract with them, just the sim was.
    I have submitted a form through Orange/EE website to get it unlocked which can take up to 20 days. As the phone number used to lock the phone is no longer in use I'm just wondering how this works now? I've had an email confirmation to say they ahve recieved the request and to await a further email in 20 days.
    Can we not take the phone to Apple to get it unlocked or do we have to wait for Orange? Seems silly that they have sim locked it even thought the phone was never on contract with them.
    Hope this has made sense to someone and that someone can hopefully give me some advice!

  • In need of some SERIOUS help

    Ok so I just bought A BB today and was trying to add my mates from overseas but all I get is pending so, I did some reading on various forums and am now more confused than ever, because I've got 10pounds on the phone but can't access BB app world it keeps telling me verify your network connections...well how do I do that ? Even when I try login to Mxit I get network failure.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Have you activated the Blackberry Bolt On from Orange? You will need to do this in order to use BBM, app world email etc. It normally costs circa £5 a month an they take it from your credit.
    You can find details of how to activate the bolt on from either Orange's website or giving them a call.

  • 820 mms not working

    got an 820 a few weeks ago on an orange contract. Not been able to send or recieve mms, what do I do. I tried following instructions on the ee site but there wasn't enough data to input and it was all called wap which isn't on my access point menu. Please help this is driving me mad

    I had this exact issue with my Orange pay monthly Nokia 820. Spent ages fiddling with the mms apn settings as per the orange/EE websites to no avail. In the end this is how I solved it -
    - go to settings>mobile network>edit mms apn
    - delete any existing apn's (if your phone menu says 'add mms apn' instead of 'edit mms apn' then skip this step)
    - Go to settings>access point, select EE or Orange. This should automatically set up your phone correctly and away you go... Note: If you don't have access point in your settings menu, use your phone to scan the QR code attached to this message, this will take you to the 'access point' app, which you can download, and then it should appear.
    If this doesn't work then it might be an issue with your account, in which case you will have to phone Orange

    the iPhone is out now in the "July 11" listed countries!!
    now am from the "Coming Soon" ones, is there some way to know around when it will be hitting the market here, or is it only a matter of keep looking over Apple's web site and my carrier ???

  • Not receiving email on Mail

    Just over 24 hours ago Mail stopped downloading incoming emails (though I can still send emails). The emails sent to me since then can be seen on the Orange website (I have a Freeserve email address), and can also be accessed via Yahoo, but not, for some reason, via Googlemail, where I get the following message
    *Connection Error. Server returned error "We were unable to locate the other domain. Please contact your other provider."*
    On Mail the Inbox (currently holding 260 items) is greyed out. If I click Go Online, a pop-up occasionally appears advising me to '+*check the settings for POP Account or try again. The server error encountered was: The server "pop.wanadoo.co.uk" cannot be contacted on Port 110.*+' As far as I can tell, the settings are unchanged, and match the instructions on Orange's website.

    I use AT&T Yahoo mail. My settings are shown below. I would think yours should be similar. I believe the 110 port was used before the new SSL security requirements.
    Incoming mail server: POP3
    Outgoing mail server: Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
    Incoming mail port #: 995, secure connection (SSL) checked
    Outgoing mail port #: 465, secure connection (SSL) checked
    Incoming POP: pop.att.yahoo.com
    Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.att.yahoo.com

  • Huge problem activating BIS

    hi everyone.
    I just bought a brand new unlocked Torch 9800 from a small online shop in my country ( Romania), and i now have a huge problem. I bought prepay card from my carrier ( Orange), activated the BIS option and a data option, then i proceeded with registering the device. First of all, I tried to registed the device on the network, no luck, no message came back telling me that registration was fine, as it should have. Then i went to the blackberry.orange.ro website in order to create the account from there, i get a message telling me that my BIS account is suspended or deactivated.... I called Orange and they said there is nothing wrong on their side, all configuration is ok there and they cannot help me, so i rather contact RIM. The seller doesn't want to exchange my phone, since there is nothing worng with it in his oppinion...
    I can't explain myself how a brand new phone can have this problem...
    I was wondering if anybody can help me with tracking down my torch ( will provide pin and imei on private message), and tell me if there is something really wrong with my device or it's just an unfortunate mix up...

    The BIS account is not a function of your SIM. Rather, it is a function of your BB PIN, which is unique in the world. Only one BIS account can exist anywhere in the world for one BB PIN. So, for instance, if the BIS account is still active on another carrier, your carrier will not be able to create a BIS account for your BB until the old carrier releases the PIN from their BIS system.

    That worries me the most...that usually only happens when something is amiss with the device. Stolen, lost, or otherwise something wrong. And, in that state, no carrier in the world will be able to create a BIS account for that BB. You will have to track down why it is in that state and get it cleared up...if that's even possible. The seller certainly should work with you here...if they represented a device that was capable of doing what you are attempting, then they misrepresented. But, as always, buyer beware...
    BTW - you have no free method to directly contact RIM for any support. All support starts with the carriers and authorized resellers. Since you didn't purchase you BB through your carrier, they may or may not be willing to escalate your case into RIM for assistance...you will have to plead your case with them.
    There is a fee-based method for you to get support direct from RIM...but even the initial contact costs you money. You can investigate that here:

  • Lumia 820 sending texts with attachemtns

    My nokia 820 will not send attachments such as a contact or picture.  On orange network. Instantly get message can t send message Try Again.  Try again does not solve it.  Orange seems to think this is a Nokia/ windows problem any suggestions?  Particularly interested in being able to send contacts as in the business card feature in older Nokias

  • HT4993 conference calling

    Does anyone know how to add a caller that calls you into a current call that you're already on?

    I've been through pretty much all of O2's website and no where on their website can I find a list of features which their network supports !
    I can find the list of supported services on Orange's website and they specifically state that conference calling is supported.
    I've had a look at the Nokia N73 as an example on O2's website. Nokia's website specifically mentions that this phone supports conference calling however O2's website makes *NO* mention of this at all ... so given this information I'd say that O2 doesn't support it - but again - check with your network provider for the definitive word !

  • When viewing a right click disabled website, all website text changes to orange, anyway to disable?

    When viewing a website that is right click disabled, the website text is turning to orange. If you hover the mouse outside the firefox window it returns to its natural color but once the mouse is in the window the text returns to orange. This hasn't occured with previous versions and does not occur with other browsers. Is there any way to disable this? Tried running in safe mode and the various solutions for websites not displaying properly to no effect.

    Well, there is good news and bad news. Which do you want first? :)
    I'll start with the good news: You can turn off the "tabbed interface" by going to Edit>Preferences>Interface and removing the checkmark for "Open Documents as Tabs".
    Now the bad news: The right-click on the title bar still won't work.
    Here are some additional thoughts and suggestions:
    - Set up your own keyboard shortcuts for the features you previously used via the right-click/title bar (Image Size, for example).
    - Give the tabbed interface a fair shot. You might find it grows on you. Here are some tips specifically related to that:
    * You don't have to use Window>Arrange. You can use the new "Arrange Documents" icon on the toolbar to go directly to "Float all windows" (it saves you one menu depth anyway). You can also assign your own keyboard shortcut for that as well.
    * The Arrange Documents icon also gives you several other arrangement alternatives that you can select directly.
    * If you are in tabbed mode and you want to float a particular image, all you need to do is grab the tab and pull it down into the workspace. If you want to move it back as a tabbed document, just grab the title bar and move the image to the top of the workspace until you see the blue line.

  • Why is this website saying my number isn't an Orange/EE number when I try log in

    Been an Orange customer for years on this number - now live overseas, but keep it topped up and try to use sim regularly. I can receive texts and missed call notifications okay, but can't log in to add credit. Or do anything account-wise for that matter. Appreciate any pointers or help in here!

  • The other day I had downloaded the latest version of Firefox and now none of the icons for the different websites I normally go to are there?

    As I said, the other day I had downloaded the latest version of Firefox and after doing so none of the icons for the different websites that normally go to are no longer there. Websites such as MSNBC, MSN, Most visited, that entire strip is no longer visible. I tired resetting Firefox and still nothing. Can anyone tell me how to get them to appear again? It's a hassle every time that I want to go to one of those sites I have to type it in the search bar, instead of just clicking on it as I did before. Please keep in mind if you answer, that I'm still learning about these things called computers and not very well versed in some of the things that you experts know:) Thanks

    On Windows XP Firefox shows the menu bar by default and not the orange Firefox menu button that is shown when the menu bar is hidden.<br />
    The menu bar is the toolbar at the top that shows menu items like File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help.<br />
    You can press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily in case this bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).
    The Navigation Toolbar shows the Back and forward button and the input field where you type the address of a site that you want to visit (aka location bar) and also has a search bar where you can type items that you want to look up with a search engine (Google).
