Orchestrator E-mail Activity Notification

I have a group of users that on a periodic basis I need to enforce a password change.  In this group there are 14 accounts.
I currently have a Monitor Exchange item that awaits an e-mail with a particular subject line i.e Reset Accounts.
This then fires a .Net Script, which basically runs a powershell script to create a random password.  This then feeds into the Get User activity to find all the users of a specific group, which in turn feeds into the Reset Password Activity.  This
should then e-mail the admin of those accounts the new password.
Now in this example I want all 14 accounts to have the same password, but obviously the send e-mail activity by default is triggered for every account it finds in the group.  Is there a way to make this only send 1 e-mail?

Managed to answer my own query.
I added a counter activity to prevent the e-mail from being triggered until it reached a count >13.  I then added a reset counter activity after the e-mail to restore everything back to it's original state

    Thanks to all.

Actually, I noticed in "More Like This" questions similar to mine.  One of the suggestions worked perfectly.
Command Shift 4 turns the arrow into a target scope.  Use it to take a screen shot of the area you want printed.  Thanks to all.

  • How do I receive an e-mail or notification when someone accepted my invitation in iCal?

    Hi people,
I have had this problem for a while now and I can't seem to find a solution.
When I invite people to an event in iCal, the invitation is e-mailed without a problem to the invited people. If they accept, I can watch this on both my iPhone and in iCal. Nevertheless I never receive any e-mail or notification when someone accepts.
Is it possible to receive an e-mail or quick notification on my iPhone about that?
    Thank you!

    >If they could actually save the filled in document that would be just as good because they could attach it to an e-mail
In Acrobat Pro, open the form and go to the Advanced menu and choose enable usage rights for Reader users.
Now, they will be able to fill out the form and save it to send it back to you in an email.
Be aware that there is a 500 use per form limit so this isn't a good answer for high volume use forms.

  • What is the point of the Mail Activity box?

At the bottom left of the Apple Mail app. window, there is a Mail Activity box. This used to be very useful back in the days of, I think, Tiger, or maybe Leopard, but since upgrading to Lion, nothing has ever appeared in that box. If I want to see Activity I have to open a new window.
Why does this box still exist? Is there any way to get Activity to appear in that box as it used to, and, I suppose, as it is supposed to?

I think it serves two purposes... first it blocks visability from your archive mail box and two some networks dont use the internet so if you are getting mail and you have to go through a bunch of nonsense it shows up. LIke if you work for a company or goverment agency, their networks may not be connected to the out side world like using dialup, dsl, or high speed internet like you and me do.

  • Mail activity window "writing changes to disk" slows iMac

So like many others, Mail is working very slowly with gmail. I even took my iMac to the genius bar, and I was told to just let the Mail program run. That once all the messages were copied to the iMac in All Mail then it would be done. Problem is it does this process every day. While this activity is ongoing it dramatically slows the computer. Here is what the Mail activity window looks like. It greets me each morning when I open it up.
Why does the mail program have to go through that process each day? Basically, I have to drink a cup of coffee and wait until it's done.
I'm surprised Apple would release an update with so many problems in native programs. (My Safari always crashes when I quit but I'll leave that for another day).

I've been having the same issue on my MBP since upgrading to Mavericks. Multiple times per day Mail seems to re-sync everything across my 8 Google Apps accounts (happening right now).
Nothing has resolved the issue, but here's what I've tried:
Verify All Mail settings in Google
Let it perform a full sync
    Rebuild inboxes
    Repair inboxes
Remove and re-add everything (they're all IMAP, so not a big deal)
Remove all Google accounts from the machine through System Preferences
    Delete the entire ~/Library/Mail/ folder
    Re-add accounts through System Preferences
    Open Mail
    Let it sync everything
Try with 1 account active versus all 8
And a few other things, I think, that I can't recall. I upgraded to 10.9 the day it was released and it's happened every day since no matter what I do.
Mavericks is great but Mail has some serious issues. I understand that Google has implemented some non-standard IMAP tricks that need to be accounted for, but I don't have any problems on my iPhone (iOS 7) with these exact same accounts -- so someone has it right in some way somewhere.
Attaching a screenshot of what it's doing right now along with the about window.

  • Sending Product Activity Notification from R/3 to APO using XI

I am trying to send a product activity notification from a backend R/3 system to APO using XI.The idoc Proact01 is getting generated and in XI when Executing transaction 'sxmb_moni' the status is showing 'processed successfully'. But in the message monitoring of
XI runtime workbench, the messages of the adapter engine has the status 'System Error'.
    The error log is showing:
Error Exception caught by adapter framework:
error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: functiontemplate from repository was.
Error Delivery of the message to the application using connection AFW failed, due to: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: functiontemplate from repository was .
Iam using a rfc adapter in the communication channel from XI to APO and using standard mapping provided in the SCM content in SAP Marketplace.
    How can i troubleshoot this.

    Hi Again Tamoghna,
If you use the SCM content you are on the right track!
Try to do a bit more research regarding this content.
I guess that the message type used in the ProductActivityNotification_In Interface has similar structure or data types to your destination object(RFC,PROXY,BAPI).
So i suggest you to go over the SCM content documentation and you'll find the right communication channel to be used.(Don't re-invent what SAP thought about all ready...)
One of the questions you should ask yourself regarding the Activity Notification is:
A.Do you need a response back to the R\3 (as part of the business process?)
B.do you have an interface in the SCM imported content called ProductActivityNotification_out.
    Good luck.
    Keep me updated....

  • Mail always shows sending two emails in Mail activity

Hi, I have noticed, that even when I send only one email, the Mail activity reports "sending 2 mails". Does anyone know why that is?
    Thanks in advance
    ralf

It's because you're using an IMAP account, which resides on the server, not on your Mac. So whenever you send an email, it's sent to the server, which then sends it back to your Mac, so the two are always in sync.

  • Mail activation agent in 11g

    Hi,
I used to implement mail activation agent in 10.1.3.4...
But I couldn't find a section of it in 11g. Anyone has pointers on this?
    Thanks.
    Sri

    Thats nice,
The User Messaging Service could then be used to configure incoming actionable mails. But I need to listen to multiple email servers. Is this possible to achieve this using UMS ?
To put it simply, I need to instantiate a composite after the emails are being polled from the email server.

  • Mail Activity Wheel for each Mailbox no longer in M.Lion

Until Mountain Lion, when Mail (version 6) accessed my mailboxes, each mailbox displayed a grey Activity Wheel. This is not happening in M.Lion. Under the button "Mail Activity" there is a progress bar when an attachment is being downloaded, and a message sound is heard even when no new messages are detected, but I miss the confirmation that each mailbox has been accessed and I can't find anywhere to set this.
    Can it be done please?

I think the nearest thing we've got now is the Mail Activitiy window which is hiiden away bottom left:

  • Mail activity keeps receiving old messages

When I open my macbook, mail activity shows old messages incoming.

Try rebuilding the mailbox. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

  • What is with all of the mail activity?

I am running Mavericks 10.9.1.  I have a Gmail account.  When I am in Mail, there is a constant incoming of messages in the "Mail Activity" section on the bottom left corner of the window.  All of these messages are not going to my inbox, so I am assuming I am receiving Junk Mail and Spam.  I do not want all of this activity coming into my Mail.  Is this something that is normal?  Can I remedy through Mail?  Or is it an internet service provider issue?
    Thanks.......

I have an iphone 4s, and an ipad mini synching with the same IMAP account.  But, it seems like it is a constant wave of activity on my computer.  I was on Mail yesterday, and for 30 minutes, it seemed like every 30 seconds there was "incoming mail" or "saving message" activity that was not actually mail.  I assume it is spam or junk?  Is this normal?
    Thanks for your input......

  • Mavericks Mail - Mail Activity Window is Eratic

Does anybody get the same problems I am having regarding the mail activity window?
If I send a single e-mail, hit send, It says it's sending two e-mails or it could be anything up to five e-mails... It keeps making me think I have some kind of virus that sending multiple e-mails out, which it doesn't appear to be when monitoring my network.
It also says it's receiving Mail when it isn't, and other very erratic messages that don't seem to make any sense at all. It's the first time I have noticed this with Mail, which has worked perfectly on previous operating systems.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you for any answers

This is perfectly normal. It's a bug in Mail. The number appears to be a count that increments as long as Mail is running, and doesn't properly reset to zero. When you are sending the 20th message since opening Mail, it will claim to be sending 20 messages, but it's actually only sending one. Same thing applies to receiving.

  • Mail - Mail Activity

Mail Activity visible from the sidebar.
Send a message and the Mail Activity is NOT 1 of 1 but 18 of 18 - and that number keeps increasing with each message sent, which did NOT occur until installing Mavericks.
    Any suggestions?
