Order BOM change type - CC03

Hi,
I'm building a custom report for Order BOM changes like CC03.
Now, I'm stuck with defining the change type. I did debug into CC03 but the logic to build change type is manual and quite complex.
Please let me know how to define the change type.
Thanks,
Khanh

Hi Rav,
That's not what I need.
Please run the Tcode CC03 for a specific change number, then you will see many items inside that change number.
Each item may have a different change type for e.g. NEW, DEL, OLD, Ind, ...
I want to know that kind of change type.
Thanks,
Khanh

  • Production Order BOM change

    Dear Expers,
How can i restrict the Production order BOM Change. Please tell me with the steps.
    Other than screen variant.
    Regards
    Raghu

    Hi,
To do this you can use below mentioned processed.
    1. create a user status and give approval to the order at creation and the user will not be able to change any thing in the process order.
    2. You can use user exits to restrict changes changes at "materials" screen.
    Hope this will help.

  • Planned order BOM change - PO already created. How to keep the 2 in sync?

    Hi Everyone,
I have a question regarding planned order BOM changes AFTER a vendor PO was already created and sent.
How can we restrict the re-explosion of a planned order (from re-ATP of item in VA02) if the PO has already been created?
This causes problems for us when we backflush the PO components as there is a mismatch between the updated planned order BOM and the PO component list...
    Any thoughts/ideas?
    Thanks!
    Tony

You can freely arrange the order of the photos in the contact sheet by dragging and rearranging the thumbnails of the photos on the sheet, if you set the sorting to "Manually" in the "View" menu, while viewing the Contact sheet:

  • Express document "Update was terminated" in CS62 order BOM change

    Hi All,
I am creating one sales order BOM with reference to Material BOM. While creating BOM, we have setup BOM creation in such a way that while creation BOM status will be inactive.
While changing status to active using CS62 transaction, I am getting error Express document "Update was terminated" from author. And after BOM created in CS61 is getting deleted automatically.

  • Sales Order BOM changes flow to Production

    Hi...
I am lookign for help  in below scenario.
We are useing the Slaes Order Boms for our Engineered to Order Material Production.
But it s aconstant problem that if later on Sales Order BOM is changed some time later its not getting auto
matically transfered to Production Order change BOM and its literrally a manual process to pass the communication
from sales to production order and then do the changes in Production Order.which carries a risk always..
Can some one propose the solution to automate this process..thanks

    Hi,
It is not possible in STD SAP. Once the planned order is converted in to production order, the link between the production order & the master data will be removed. Then any changes in the master will not reflected in the production order.
You need to think for some developments.
    Regards,
    V. Suresh

  • Change Rule 3 (with Engineering change order with change type)

A customer created a recipe with Change Rule 3. Can you still change a recipe that has this setting?  What needs to be done if a change has to be done on the recipe?  Thanks!

    Hi Kevin,
the change rule You described requires an engineering change order (ECO) with a change type for objects. Without ECR You can not change that recipe anymore.
    1) You need to crate an engineering change request (ECR) with transaction CC31
    2) In this ECR You need to create an entry in the "objects" section for "TL" with Your task list type, receipe group and with a change type
    3) In header of ECR You need to change the status to "check ECR"
    4) Go back to objects section, mark You object and choose function "Edit -> Object Status -> Change Possible"
    5) Go back to header and change the status subsequently to "ECR checked", "approve ECR" and "convert ECR"
    6) Save
    7) Go to C202 or C223 and use this ECR number to change Your master data
    Alternative B)
If Your customer enterd this recipe with change rule by accident and does not intend to user ECM functionallity just delete the recipe using TC C298.

  • Plant change in Sales Order not possible due to Sales Order BOM

    Hi all,
we are trying to change the Delivery Plant in a Sales Order after the creation of a Sales Order BOM, but it gives a V1773 message first, then a blocking error V1810. The same happens with a Production Order.
How can we change the Delivery Plant after the creation of one of these objects?
    Our scenario:
    - Make To Order
    - Sales Order BOM created with transaction CS61
    - Sales Order Routing created with transaction CA01
We need to create the Sales Order BOM on the Production Plant (which doesn't change), but we need to be able to change the Delivery Plant in any time.
Should you have further questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks in advance,
    Giuseppe

    Hello Caselli,
For V1773, please check the solution provided by note 588884, which is a modification. With this note it turns possible to delete all multi-level sales order BOM using transaction CSKB, which may be useful.
The behavior mentioned by you is the standard behavior of the system. The scenario works as designed, a plant change is only possible as long as there is no other document assigned to the sales order.
    Longtext of V1 810 says:
The plant can no longer be changed in the following situations:
        2. There is a production order for the order item but it is not a static assembly order.
Your scenario seems to be point 2 as mentioned above. You can check the requirement type (VBAP-BEDAE) and requirement class in OVZH and assembly type (MNTGA) in OVZG.
If you change the plant for the items with existing production orders, it will cause the incorrect values in the COPA. An order item is assigned to plant A and the corresponding production order exits. This
means that the costs are assigned to plant A (this is the place where the costs accrue). Order and production order will be balanced at plant A.
If you now, after the process has already started, should allow to change the order to plant B the following examples of problems will come up:
    - The costs accrued in plant A (see production order)
    - The SD order is now assigned to plant B, this means billing will be with plant B
This leads to the fact the costs are on plant A, plant B has a benefit. Plant A cannot settle the costs and plant B has unexpected earnings. Inconsistencies in all involved process steps, SD, CO, COPA are the results.
If you want to change the plant in the sales order you'll have to perform these steps:
    = Delete the production order.
= Change the plant of the sales order item from A to C.
This should be possible unless there are other documents which are already assigned to this sales    order item. Save.
= Create a new production order and assign it to the sales order item again.
I hope I am able to help you with this information.

  • Sales order Item and bom template type problem..

    hi.
    i have one scenario.
i am selecting one itme at sales order..
this item is having bill of material and bill of material type template..
so, when ever we are selecting the item at sales order.. child nothing but bill of material also comming.
    how to restrict child items..
i want to select only item... i dont want to copy the bill of material at sales order..
i dont want to change type of the parent at bom also.
    Any information plz update me...

    Hi,
This is standard system behavior. If you select template BOM, the child items are displayed in sales order. If you want, you can delete child items in sales order.
Not sure about your business process. If you use production BOM, the child item will not be displayed in sales order.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Transfer of changed order BOM from quotation to sales order

    Good morning!
Please consider the following scenario involving variant configuration:
A quotation is raised in the system, and the values of the characteristics are assigned. Therefore a order BOM is generated (for the quotation), and that order BOM is changed manually using tcode CU51 (for cost estimates purposes). When it is saved, the system updates the BOM in the quotation automatically (ok, this is a desired behavior).
Although when we create an sales order with reference to that quotation, the newly chnaged order BOM is not copied to this new order, the order BOM is redetermined instead.
How can I make the system to copy it from the quotation properly?
    Thanks in advance!
    Adriano Cardoso

Thanks for the reply. I have verified this note and it seems more toward the BOM explosion in the sales documents themselves than for the modifications made afterwards (CU51 changes in BOM, for example).
After realizing that, I´ve made a little research and found the Order Engineering Workbench possibility, which seems to fulfill all our requirements regarding this point. I looked all over SDN and haven't found too much input about it. In the SAP VC book, says it is not part of the SAP ERP, but a add-on.
So, you don't happen to have any idea of how can we check if it is activated / installed  in our system or not? We are on version 5.0.
    Thanks!

  • BOM change after Purchase order creation

    Dear all
My client requirement is an error message should appear when the end users are trying to change the BOM after the purchase order creation for the BOM items and the system should allow the BOM change only after the PO cancellation.
    Please throw some light
    regards
    Kumar

    Dear Kumar,
Do you mean to say user's should not be allowed to change hte BOM items in a purchase order?or should not be allowed to change a
BOM,if there are some purchase orders for the same material?
If your requirement is to restrict the BOM change of a material using T code CS02,after purchase order creation,I dont think its
    possible.
Please explain your problem little more in detail.

  • Way to change order of person type for search window under the People

    Hi,
we need to change ordering of person type. Normally we open search window to find any specific record either employee/contingent or applicant which show's “Employee” as default value.
Is there any way to change type employee to contingent worker as default value?

    Hi user-Keen,
hmm interesting.. never tried this, but can you try personalisation and see if this works -
    WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE
    Block : EMP_QF
    Field : NUMBER_TYPE
    Value : CWK
The value is defaulted to EMP, try changing this to CWK

  • Sales order costing after changes on configuration or sales order BOM

    Hi all
Our sales order items requruire an sales order costing. This is done automatically, when saving the sales order item:
    Settings in requirement class:
    - costing: X (costing required)
    - costing-ID: B (automatic costing and marking)
This works perfect, means the sales order receives a caluculation that is marked.
Now, something is changed on the sales order BOM with transaction CU51
It seems, that each time you change the BOM you have to ensure yourself, that the costing of the sales order items (via VA02 -> extras -> costing) has to be performed manually.
There is no SAP standard process, that does this automatically.
    Thanks for your feedback.
    Pius

    Dear Pius,
System cannot take the changes from the BOM and execute the cost estimate automatically.
Need to refresh system when the changes are happened i..e need to execute the Cost Estimate once again.
    Kind Regards

  • Purchase Requisition for Order BOM components ?

    Dear Members :
Can I generate purchase requisition for Order BOM components from VA01 ? Mine is TAQ - the header itm cat and TAE for sub-items (finished prod) . While navigating within Sales Order and branching to a particular component's shced. line - the pruch req col is blank. The schedule line cat for the sub-item is CT.
Could someone please explain the configuration steps I need to maintain for the above ? What I am expecting is when I save the Sales Order it should create Purch Req for the components which do not have enough stock.
    Thanks
    Atanu

    Hi :
Thanks for your advice. Couple of things :
    1. In my system in auto acc assignment, I already have consumption acc under posting key GBB. Now I am getting error in VA01 - which states that "The system was not able to determn a consumption acc for purchase order item with acc assignment" and also suggesting to address "GBB posting key". I made the following changes for CT :
        movt : 101
        order type : NB
        item cat : 0
        acc assignment cat : F/C
    2. Obviously SAP is expecting a consumption GL acc, which though is there under GBB-AUF from my existing setup. For generating purch req this is strange becoz I haven't yet gone upto PO generation step nor released the supposed to be Purch Req.  for BOM component - and this is before I save the Sales Order .
    3. In spro->acc grouping for mov type; I don't see the following combination in SAP  ie,
101(MvT) - B (MvT) - GBB (TEKey) - AUF. I need B instead of F which is already there and is for production order but the BOM comp has to be for PO but the combination is not there.
Do you think this could be the reason that SAP couldn't find the GL acc ?
    4. Also my purpose was not just to raise a purch req every time the sales order is created for the BOM components - only if there is shortage in stock - but then again for CT once I assign the above, it doesn't allow to check the boxes like Availbility , Requrmnt etc. (??)
Am I clear and could you please suggest me what I am missing or doing wrong ? What movement type do you siggest to enter in CT fields.
Thanks so much for your time.
