Order of Blogs

To create content for my new webpage, I went ahead and wrote a number of blogs. But, iWeb keeps the order they were posted in. Does anybody know how to change the order?
I guess one solution is to start again and just cut and paste everything.

The best way I've found how to change dates of a blog posting, is to choose Insert > Date & Time.
This will insert the current date & time that your system clock is set to.
You can then select this text, it will to select the whole text and not word-by-word as oppossed to normal text. You can delete the whole date and then type in the date you want to blog post to be dated to in the format of dd/mm/yyyy (this might be mm/dd/yyyy if your system is set to US date standard).
When you click off the date the entry date should change. You can then delete the date in the format of dd/mm/yyyy and write the date in how you wish, though this won't change the date as it only seem to accept the above format.
The time defaults to 12:00am and I've yet to work out how to change this - if anyone has any ideas let me know.
Apple really need to fix this issue ASAP, so users can post date blog entries, it seems a silly oversight.

yeah, I'm probably not making myself clear... change the date on the podcast page entry. Select the entry you want to edit, then move your mouse down to the actual page that appears below. On that page, below the title, is a date. Change that. It will change the date published in the entry list above.

This is the standard listing... day spelled out, Month and day number, year. iWeb has to see it in this format to make the changes above.

Is there a way to have the latest blog entries appear at the top of the blog instead of the bottom?

Cyclosaurus posted a html snippet that you can insert in your iweb page (insert-->widget-->html snippet). The snippet is in this tread but it didn't work for me:

There are at least a half dozen posts on this very thing and you would think changing the order of a blog post from chronological to reverse chronological would be easy, but apparently not.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Just getting my feet wet with iweb 09, and so far it is a decent programme, but I have 1 major question.. in the blog section, how do I get the blog to post from earliest to most recent, so that the first post is on the top 1st entry and the most recent is lower down....??

Blog ordering - iWeb 09

Here is another hope for iWeb 09. I often use Blogs to created automatic submenus within my site. It is great because it automatically creates the menu for me. The problem is the items are dated and ordered according to date. I need a more flexible way of creating submenus, it could be as simple as manually ordering the Blog menu items and not having the date show.
Would this be useful for others?

Please tell me how to set up the blog pages another way -- not by date. I like the blog layout, and use it for other subjects such as my book reviews, with each review a separate entry. I would like them to be ordered alphabetically by book title instead of by date posted. See my book reviews for example at:

Can I change the order of the entries?

Is there any way to change the order of blog entries? I don't want to go by the date they are created.

Are you talking about entries in the site organizer ? when I try to grap my entry title it doesn't move. It only takes me to that page. Am I doing something wrong?

Slideshow automatic start option

I am wondering if it would be possible to start a slideshow automatically as the pages is loaded. i have created one using photoshop. I used the Flash Gallery 2 under the File>Automate>Web Photo Gallery option. I want it to sit on the homepage and play automatically.Photoshop outputted the slideshow to a folder i selected and i noticed within there, that there are some java script files and an index file, and about three xml files. One of the files is called gallery config.

Unknown Capture Date/Time

I have several dozen photos with either no capture date or something irregular that I concocted up (like "2012 Spring"). I notice that Lightroom assigns today's date and time to those photos when importing them. That means that I can't find them using the metadata "unknown date" filter. Is there any way I can get it to leave them alone, or just leave the date field blank? Thanks in advance!!

In the absence of specific camera exif data Lightroom will always work with the date created or modified e.g. the date scanned or the date of the last edit. You can edit or add metadata, but unfortunately it’s a manual process. See this help link.

If you need the images in a fixed order for a project such as a slideshow or web gallery, its best to use a collection. The thumbnails can then be dragged around and will remain fixed in you chosen order.

API for adding external roles/parties to an organization in oracle projects

Hi,
I need a help on the API for creating external roles/parties to an organization in oracle projects. There are two APIs in oracle for roles - pa_project_pub.load_org_roles and pa_project_pub.load_key_members. load_key_members api is used to load team members which are employees to a project and load_org_roles is used to add an organization role to a project. But how to use these API to load a party/external role to the organization role (or) is there any other api to do this functionality. Please suggest me on this.

Query that only returns items that will produce a result

Thanks to Mack for his help yesterday. I would really appreciate some help from anyone who is more SQL competent than I am. I have an SQL problem that is just completely over my head. I've created a nifty tagging system for the blog, that sorts by tags and by multiple tags, check out the beta here: http://committedsardine.com/blog.cfm
When a user selects a tag, it adds it to the value list SESSION.blogTags. If the selected tag is there already, it removes it. When the list for tags pops up, I output all the tags, and show their state. You'll see what I mean if you try it.
What this leads to is the ability to select a group of tags for which there are no query results. What I want to do is only show those that will generate results and how many results they'll show. Like this, select "fluency" by itself there are 310 entries
fluency (310) | digital (234) | writing (12)
Once fluency is selected, there are 13 articles that ALSO are tagged by "digital", but none that are tagged by writing:

How to configure automatic start option of the Hyper-V role (Windows 2012 R2)

If there a way to configure the automatic start up option of each Virtual Machine?
I know that you can't use the VMM settings to setup the Automatic Start action, and the Cluster Hyper-V setting only specify the "shutdown" action.
How can I make sure that after a an event like a power recovery affecting all my node that all my Hyper-V role will be started?Thank

DFS Targets Not Working

I need to accomplish a task.
SERVER1 has 2 separate volumes; E: and F:
E: contains a folder called DATA1
F: contains a folder called DATA2
I need to provide users a share path \\SERVER1\Share (or domainname.local\Share) which contains data from both DATA1 and DATA2.
I was under the impressions that I could accomplish this with DFS. I have configured a DFS namespace of \\SERVER1\Namespace with Folder name of 'DATA'. Under 'DATA' in DFS management I have added both targets of \\SERVER1\DATA1 and \\SERVER1\DATA2. When
I navigate to \\SERVER1\Share\DATA it only displays contents of DATA1, not both.
It looks like DFS does not accomplish what I would like to do, or I am just doing something wrong. Either way, does anyone have an idea of how to accomplish this? Running on Server 2008. Thanks in advance!

If you add the two folder targets in the same DFS Namespace root folder, the path \\SERVER1\Share\DATA point to \\SERVER1\DATA1 or \\SERVER1\DATA2. We cannot access the path \\SERVER1\Share\DATA to display contents of the both folder targets. If you configure
the option to return DFS targets outside the client’s site in random order, the path \\SERVER1\Share\DATA randomly point to \\SERVER1\DATA1 or \\SERVER1\DATA2.
