Order of sections in a PE file.

Question

Hi,
I have been studying PE file format from last few days. One thing that I observed while studying the section tables is that,
for all the PEs that I studied .text section is the first section.
I created few more PEs but they also had text section first & then data section.
now my questions are:
Is this order fixed always for all PE files?
If "no" then, What is the way by which we can change the order of sections so that .txt section comes after .data section.

PE is the Portable Executable format; he appears to be discussing reverse engineering .exe files generated by Small Basic.
I don't believe .text is required to come first. In fact, you can have more than one code-containing section, which need not be named .text. That being said, most build tools won't let you rename the sections or reorder them, as there is rarely any practical
reason to do so. The linker would be responsible for ordering sections, so you should look at linker options, which may or may not allow you to change the order.
I doubt Small Basic is an appropriate forum for such low-level questions.
