Order Quantity in full

Hello Experts,
My user has created a PR through project builder of quantity 58. Now, after releasing the PR when he creates PO of same quantity the error coming is "Order quantity in full" .
Please help.
Thanks
Ankur

Thanks Kalpesh.
yes there is a conversion formula maintained as:
PO Quantity                    52 TO                       Order Unit <-> Ord. Price Unit 1      TO  <-> 1       TO
PO Qty in SKU           6,341.400 M                   Order Unit <-> SKU             20     TO  <-> 2,439   M
Now, when user is entering 58 in PO Quantity field. Error coming as"order quantity in full" .
In PR under Quantities/ Weights Tab status is :
Quantity                    6,416.720         M
Quantity Ordered     6,341.400         M
Also, the above PR is created through project builder.
Please suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Ankur

  • How to get the open order quantity for a material

    Hi All,
We need to get the open order quantity for materials. At present we are using the following logic...
    SELECT VBAKVBELN VBAPPOSNR VBAP~KWMENG
        INTO TABLE IT_VBAP
      FROM VBAP
INNER JOIN VBAK ON VBAKVBELN   = VBAPVBELN
INNER JOIN VAPMA ON VAPMAVBELN = VBAPVBELN
                      AND VAPMAPOSNR = VBAPPOSNR
INNER JOIN VBUP ON VBUPVBELN = VBAPVBELN
                     AND VBUPPOSNR = VBAPPOSNR
    WHERE VAPMA~MATNR = IT_OUTPUT-MATNR
       AND VAPMA~WERKS = IT_OUTPUT-WERKS
        AND VBAK~AUART  IN S_AUART
         AND VBUP~GBSTA NE 'C'.
But the Query takes quite a long time as it does a full range scan on all the tables. Is there any way the query can be improved, may be by creating an index etc? Or is there anyother way by which i can get the required data?
    Any input is appreciated.
    Regards
    Brain.

  • Open Order Quantity based on the processing Material (loop)

    Hi,
How do you get the open order quantity from VBAP/VBAK, based on the material?
As far as I know, the order is an open order if the Item Qty (VBAP-KWMENG) and Delivery Qty (LIPS-LFIMG) do not match.
How you I get the full quantity for all Open Orders based on the Material?
    Points will be rewarded!
    Thanks,
    John

Two ways i can think of..
    1. Standard vbap/lips check
( Use table VAPMA to start, since material is indexed on this table)
    2. From your MRP-MD06/MD04(There will be a table for MRP log.please check this)
    Thanks

  • Sales order quantity billed instead of delivered quantities?

Hello.  I am having an issue with billing delivered quantities.  This is the scenario:
3rd party, non stock materials, are assigned to a network activity in cj20n.  These items generate a PR which is then converted to a PO and goods receipt is posted to the network activity. A sales order is created and assigned to this wbs.  Delivery from project is then carried out in CNS0 and picking and goods issue is posted in vl02n.  If full quantity received to project is not issued out in vl02n, upon billing in vf01, the total sales order quantity is billed.  How do I alter my configuration such that only delivered quantities are billed?

    Hi
Its seems that your sales order quantity billing issue has been solved. If it is solved then kindly share with us,how the problem has been solved. As there prices are not picking in the billing document, so please check the pricing type that has been maintained in the VTFL copy control.Secondly also check in VOV7 wheather item category is relevant for pricing has been maintained or not.
You get the delivery document to determine prices from sales order to delivery through copy controls.
NOTE:If the issue(Sales order quantity billed instead of delivered quantities) has been solved then kindly close the thread and  post your issue through new thread

  • Invoiced quantity is smaller than ordered quantity

    HI Everyone,
When i'm doing archiving for the object MM_EKKO.The following message i got "Invoiced quantity is smaller than ordered quantity".
Please can any one tell me how to close this type of purchase orders and continue archiving
    Regards
    subhash

    hi,
It may be due to PO is still open for the given qty...
Firstly check the PO price and qty..then check the IR price and qty it shd match...
You can see the full history in the PO history tab in the PO item details...
And then continue for the archiving...

  • Sales Order quantity Must not exceed Purchase order quantity

    Dear Experts,
My requirement is when i am creating a Purchase order giving referenece as Sales Order .. system must not allow the user to enter  more than Sales order quantity.
    Ex : Sales Order 1234
            Material : AAAA
            Quantity : 100
while creating a Purchase order for Mat AAAA giving  reference of Sales order i.e 1234 and quantity 150 system must not allow user to enter more than sales order quantity . If user wants to create PO for 150 he must have to ammend the sales order from 100 to 150  is it possible.
    Kindly do the needful
    Regards
    abhi

    Dear Abhinav,
First of all, Purchase Order will get created with reference to Purchase requisition (T. Code: VOV7 --> Item Cat.: TAS --> Tab: Transaction Flow --> Field: Automatic PO Creation), and not with reference to Sales Order.
This is Purchase requisition, which gets created with reference to Sales Order; based upon settings in:
    T. Code: VOV6 --> Schd. Line Cat.: CS
    Order Type            NB    Purchase Requisition
    Item Category         5     Third-party
Acct Assgt Cat.       X     All aux.acct.assgts.
Now, coming to your requirement (based up on my inputs),
My requirement is when i am creating a Purchase order giving referenece as Sales Order .. system must not allow the user to enter more than Sales order quantity.
To Restrict Purchase requisition quantity in PO, then in T. Code: OMCQ
Or, Path: SPRO > img > MM > Purchasing > Environment Data > Define Attributes of System Messages
    Here make following messages as Error;
06 076 Materials of requisition & item & alr. ordered in full
06 254 Order quantity greater than requisition quantity
Now,  in Purchase Requisition, if it is created for 100 qty (with ref. to Sales Order) and if you adopt the same in Purchase Order and try to change the qty to 150, then system will not allow you change and throws the error.
    Best Regards,

  • Fixed Days Supply & Fixed Order Quantity

    Hi,
in certain cases we use the Fixed Days Supply & Fixed Order Quantity attributes in the Item Master to influence our ASCP plan calculation (size of planned orders etc.)
We need this because we do discrete production (semiconductor industry) and with the fixed order quantity we to ensure that the system plans with full Lots.
However I am not sure what the impact of the Fixed Days Supply is, especially in combination with the Fixed Order Quantity.
Unfortunatly the Manuals do not tell very much about this. Does anyone have experience with this and wants to share some knowledge? I would like to know what these parameters really do and maybe there are better ways for our setup...
    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi,
thanks for the reply. I found the detailed explanation in user guide you mentioned.
I am not sure that we made the setup in an optimum way.
We use for example fixed days supply = 5 for many buy items, because we place weekly Purchase Orders for these items and want to have the planned orders combined instead of having a planned order for every day.
And we use the fixed order quantity to prevent two things:
    1) The size of the planned order gets below a typicall Lot size and the calculated leadtime for this planned order is too short. We define item based resource usage rates so it will calculate the exact lead time for the small planned order, but in reality our production has to run the full Lot which takes more time of course.
    2) without the fixed order quantity the planned orders might become too big, which makes scheduling of them more difficult, because finding a free time-slot on the machines for a huge quantity must be more difficult than for a smaller planned order.
But unfortunatly Oracle does not provide some business cases, especially for our semiconductor industry so it is more trial-and-error what we are doing...
    regards,
    David.

  • Fixed Order Quantity

    Hi,
we are using ASCP together with SFM. We do descrete manufacturing for our products. The products flows look like this:
    - asssembly item A (finished good item)
=> is make item (has routing), uses component3
    - component3 is make item, uses component2
    - component2 is make item, uses component1
    - component 1 is buy item
So the flow of material looks like this:
    component1 -> component2 -> component3 -> assembly4
    (buy) (make) (make) (make)
In production we typically process only full Lots/Batches with a certain quantity depending on the component1.
We want that ASCP plans always full Lots, because the leadtime of the full Lot is always needed in reality. If ASCP plans with partial quantities, then the estimated/calculated leadtime for the planned orders will not be realistic.
To achieve this we want to use the Fixed Order Quantities, however it turned out that we run into several other problems if we use this parameter. For example it happens that system recommends to buy material (component1) just for the sake of the fixed order quantities.
We are running into issues if we enter the Fixed Order quantities, and we get other issues if we leave this empty.
I am looking for someone who has experience with this parameter and can give some recommendations. Maybe we use the wrong approach and there are other paramters that we should use to achieve what we want.
    Big Thanks in advance,
    David.

Sub: "We want that ASCP plans always full Lots, because the leadtime of the full Lot is always needed in reality. If ASCP plans with partial quantities, then the estimated/calculated leadtime for the planned orders will not be realistic."
Oracle ASPC has some more meaningfull logic in Lead time calcualtion. It is not that Lead time will be wrong when you Process the low batch. On the other hand lead time goes up when you use Fixed order Quantity , irrespective of Demand. It also files up your inventory.
See for example, If you have fixed order quanitity for an item say 1000 numbers;assume that you have on hand for 500. and need to refill balance 500.
What will ASCP recommend you ?..1000 numbers. It files your invenotry...Does this mean that lead time for producing 1000 is less as compared to 500!!! also is it acceptable to produce extra 500..
.It also make you to plan low levels adversly with case cade effect...
You issue is not lead time...You are talking about setup time. If you produce more batches, you are occuring the more setups for same items. it makes lead time more lengthy considering the setup time. This is your problem and wanted to limit this or wanted to make it optimization. (Is it right my observation of your problem??)
How to control...?. Rather than speaking about lead time , let us talk in other way ...what is the Planning perid do you want want to conisder while planning a batch or lot size?. In other words let us take an example,,,
Component2 has a lead time of say 30 days for 1000 numbers. At the same time, I am able to accamadate only max 1000 numbers. If the demand goes up ,say for example, 2000, then I need to have two batches. If the goes less than 1000 and demand split in time gap ...for exmaple, 500 in first of week of may and 200 in last of week of may, still I want to consolidate 500+200 into one batch and want to Plan 700 as it is less that 1000.
If the above condition matches..you need to use Min Order/Max orde qunatity and Fixed days supply together. This is the wonderful way it controls the objective as stated above. In this example you will set min 1 , max 1000 and fixed days supply to 20 days.
How ever in some cases if the demand comes likes this, say for exmaple 2000 and 2000, then there is a recommendation to produce 1000,1000,1000,1000 with due date as equal to first lot. However, if you use constranied based planning, APS will reshdule and give you best possible time slot. Other wise, if there is enoguh capacity you are still able to produce 4 batches in first due date. The result of this behaviour depends on EDD and ECC and will vary.Make it understand this and do test case..go ahead..
    Thanking you,
    dr

  • Order recommendation must be extra than the sales order quantity

    Hi Expert,
My client is using the MRP wizard to generate the Purchase and Production order once a sales order comes from customer than MRP create the production order for parent item and purchase order for chilld items with required quantity but there is a possibility of rejection which comes to know at the end of production and to complete the quantity required some time.
Is there any possibility that MRP generate the recommendation 10%(for example) extra than the sales order quantity. So that it will full fill the rejected quantity at the end of production.
    Thanks

    Hi,
MRP in B1 designed in a way that you don't need to enter many choices to select from.  To fulfill your goal, I think it is not that difficult because you could export recommended order and calculate the new total by a formula like New Qty = Recommend Qty * 1.1 in Excel and DTW the production orders using the calculated results.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Return Order Quantity Amount

When processing a return, my users are creating the return using the full qty of the original sale. Then when processing the return delivery, they're adjusting for the actual returned amount. Wouldn't it be better to adjust for the actual returned qty on the return sales order and let the delivery/invoice qty's flow from there?

When you do return sales order with ref. to orginal bill inv. no.it will copy actual details from it,
You can change order quantity for quantity returned in order itself.
Whether order quantity is editable in sales order ?

  • Open sale order quantity in VA05

    hi all,
can anyone please tell me the function module or bapi or Table to find out open sales order quantity coming in VA05.
    regards.

First of all define what is open , is it created but notdelivered , or delivered but not invoiced.
The table VBUP has flags for statuses eg
    A     Not yet processed
    B     Partially processed
    C     Completely processed
A for open , B for partial C for complete , so by checking this table you will find which are actually delivered or invoiced completely.
Tcode V.02 gives u this option.

  • Open Order Quantity for open sales orders

Is there a standard SAP Report that gives the open order quantity for every open sales order.   "Open" is defined as any order quantity that has not shipped.  Delivery creation is not the same as shipment.   VA05 Report does not contain enough information to calculate the open order quantity for an ERP-based backlog report.

Try VA05 schedule lines standar variant...include status fields and both ordered qty and confirmed qty. In SAP standard system order status, status A means open orders fully (Nothing shipped, everything opened). Status B means in process orders (Partially processed - shipped). Status C means complete orders (Nothing opened). As there is no delivered qty in VA05,  you need to download to excel the file and calculate the difference between both qty fields for each A and B status. That is a way to get the missing qty to be delivered or open qty as you stated.
    Hope it helps.

  • Free goods determined in Delivery over Order Quantity in Sales Order Item

    Hi Gurus,
I've a problem about using free goods determination.
First I created free goods master record with following information
    ZG1010012060075 From 100 PC -> Free good ZG1040012060075 2 PC
Free goods Category = '2' (Exclusive)
Free goods delivery control = 'E' (Delivery proportional to quantity in main item)
Then I've created Sales Order with
    Item 10 ZG1010012060075 4,000 PC.
Item 11 ZG1040012060075(Free good) has been automatically determined for 80 PC
Then I've splitted Item 10 into 4 deliveries. The result of free goods determine in each delivery are as follow:
    Delivery#1)
    Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 1,176 PC
    Item20 ZG1040012060075 = 24 PC
    Delivery#2)
    Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 1,176 PC
    Item20 ZG1040012060075 = 24 PC
    Delivery#3)
    Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 1,176 PC
    Item20 ZG1040012060075 = 24 PC
    Delivery#4)
    Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 472 PC
    item20 ZG1040012060075 = 9 PC
    *Remark : Total quantity of 'ZG1040012060075'(free goods) = 92424+24 = 81 PC
    (Greater than 80 PC)*
I think the system determined free goods in Delivery#4 correctly due to rounding up. But It might not be over the order quantity in Sales Order Item 11. Even though I've set the item category in delivery with Check overdelivery = 'B' (Situation rejected with an error message), the free goods are determined over order qty. BUT if I change delivery qty in delivery#4 Item20 from 9 PC -> 8 PC -> 9 PC, the error message occurred.
My point is to fix the system not determine free goods in delivery items over order quantity in sales order item.
Has anyone met this situation before? Do you have any idea about this issue?
    Best Regards,
    Prachya Lalitnorasate

    Dear Sai,
Thank you for your advice, but it didn't solve my problem.
I would like the system to determine free goods with proportional to main item AND In the last delivery main item delivered completely free goods must be determined equal to remaining open delivery item.
Do you have any idea about configuration/customization?
