I am having these books with me for performance tuning
1. Carry Milsap's, 'Oracle Performance'
2. K. Gopal's 'Oracle Wait Inferfaces'.
3. Jonathan's, 'CBO Fundamentals'.
4-Oracle Database 10g Performance Tuning Tips & Techniques by Rich Niemiec
and finally all 3 of thomas kyte's books
Expert Oracle Database Architecture by Thomas Kyte
Effective oracle by design by Thomas Kyte
Expert one-on-one by Thomas Kyte Kyte
I am going through oracle documentation on performance tuning now a days and wanted to enhance my knowledge on performance tuning
If you have gone through these books then Is there any specific order to follow while reading all of these books in case of complexity If Yes
then can you please guid me in this regard ?

I would suggest you to start reading Tom Kyte's "Expert Oracle Database Architecture" firstly. Carry's and Jonathan's books may be tough enough for newbies, Wait interface for Gopal can be used when you need to reference to any type of wait event (however you can read it to have a knowledge on general wait events)
Moreover, I'd suggest you to read Christian Antognini's Performance Tuning book after reading Tom Kyte's book. That would give you a general knowledge on "what to tune and how to tune"

No. Apple only keeps the pdf file for a book for 30 days. Without the library and book project you won't be able to reorder the same book.

Possible to order reprints of books

My usecase is as follow. I want to order 10 copies of a book to serve as proofing and to show around and get people orders. We expect on getting between 100 and 200 orders. I do not want to risk re-uploading the book and have a mishap happen that makes the reprints different than the original proofing copies.
Questions:
Can we re-order a previous book directly from Apple, completely bypassing Aperture?
Anyway, I need to be able to pay for this reprint through another mean than our credit card, which doesn't have a $20K limit.

which database are you using ?
DB2 and Oracle for example support (dynamic) query-optimization by themselfes (other dbs maybe as well), thus changing the
order by themselfes.
All you have to do is running statistics on the tables for this feature to work as best as it can.
(With both databases this can be done via context-menus in the manager consoles)
Not only the order of tables but their indexes and key-distribution and your WHERE clause influence query speed,
so it should be up to the database to optimize queries in the way you plan, because only they know best how to use all
tweaks their have for best performance.

Mail's Add to Address Book inverts name order in Address Book

Using Mail's 'Add to Address Book' function results in inverted first/last name order in Address Book: Under every combination of setting for 'show first name before/following last name' and 'sort by first/last name' in the AB prefs, using Mail's Add to Address Book on 'Bob Jones' results in 'Jones' in the first name field and 'Bob' in the last name field.
Are others also seeing this? Any workarounds?

Thanks for testing, Ernie. I double-checked my system using your settings and still saw the names in the wrong fields. Something must be off with my setup but I have no idea what it might be! If anyone can replicate this problem, maybe we can figure it out.

Service Order as follow up document for Service Ticket

we are using CRM 2005 and the IC-Webclient for the service callcenter.
Is it somehow possible to create a service order as follow up document out of a service ticket in IC-Webclient?

Hi,
The Service Ticket itself is Service Order. The difference between them is that the Service Ticket does not have Item Category which is present in the Service Order.
Between your transaction code maintian the copy controls.

You mean close -
>TECO???
If yes Go in IW38 select all orders ,click Enviroment Tab and you can do the TECO but that order should not have Open reservation.

You will have to authorize your sisters device for your iTunes account (your AppleID and Password). Audiobooks are DRM locked just as almost all iTunes audio content is.

I just saved it as a PDF and uploaded it to their website... their prices are resonable, the product is really beautiful and of superior quality, and they are super efficient!
I've since used them twice! Brilliant company... I recommend you try them (also, they are based in Linbro business park in Johannesberg so you can pick up your book if you live in Jozi instead of courier... but for all other areas of SA they deliver to your door! Fantastic!)

t I am currently in canada and trying to get the book sent to Australia. Im not sure if apple is picking up my location and that is having any affect on it?
The AppleID you are using to buy the book, must be tied to the location of the store where you are ordering the book from. Is your AppleID associated with an australian address? And are you placing the order at the Australian store? The Canadian store will not shiptoAustralia, see these policies: http://www.apple.com/internetservices/terms/sales_policies.html
Also set the "Region" in the language & Text preferences to "Australia", while you are ordering.

Anyhow, try a different browser. What were you using?
Firefox is known to work well with the download manager when other browers fail.

I solved the problem. Had nothing to do with Mac or iphoto. Problem must be my the internet connection to my provider.
Upload at my office worked without any problem. One problem solved, now i am aware with a lot of discussions with my providers helpdesk ;-)

i want to create sales order as follow up document of business actvity.In business activity i have maintained product id and quantity in activity journal.Now i want to copy that product from activity to sales order.But system is not allowing me to copy it.
So how can i solve this problem?

First question - Have you maintained copy control between source and destination transaction types and item categories. If not yet then you need to maintain that first.
