Order Types - screen reference object

Dear PM guys,
In Functions and Settings for Order types-In Configure Order type screen,If I give O120(Functional location(30)equipmentassbly) or O180(Functional loc. 1:1 + equip. + assembly) for the field Screen RefObject, Its makes no difference in flow. Then what is the significance of that field.

When you assign the  120 then the reference object Screen changes in the order and the Functional Location field is 30 Characters Long

    Hi
I have 2 Order Types (ZRA and ZRC). The ZRA should always be created only with reference to a ZRC. It should not be allowed to create ZRA directly.
I believe I can remove the Item categories somewhere, but can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated

Since you mention the pricing routines, I guess you are working on a VOFM routine or a user exit. I think that Anji gave the best universal solution for finding the document type by using VBUK table. VBFA table should not be used for this purpose IMHO.
Additionally, inside the VOFM routine or a user exit you might be able to use VBPA or XVBPA/YVBPA table - the field VGTYP will contain the reference document category for each line. C = order, M = invoice, there are several orders, which you can see in SE11.
Just FYI "preceding document" in VBFA is the document that was created first. For example, a sales order is a "preceding document" and the corresponding outbound delivery is a "subsequent document".
Hope this helps and good luck!

  • Reference Object Screen For Vehicle in Maintenance Order

    SAP Gurus,
How could I display the reference object screen for vehicle specific data (O150) in my Maintenance Order. I have been able to display it in Maintenance Notification but how could the fields plate number etc defined in reference object screen for Fleet objects be displayed in Order.
    Regards,
    Muhammad Usman Kahoot

    Muhammad Usman Kahoot,
When you create the Order from the notification, there shouldn't be a problem with the reference object screen, you should be able to see the Fleet object reference field, even if the screen reference object type for the order type is set to blank in config.
If you are creating a order directly using transaction IW31,Make sure to assign the Equipment only reference object screen (0150) to the order type using transaction OIOA.This will bring in the fleet reference object field defined as well.

  • Screen reference by material type

    Good afternoon.
In the SPRO path Logistics-General--> Material master --> Configuring the material master --> Assign screen sequences to User/material type/transaction/Industry sector, if you choose the sub-activity "Material type screen reference" you will see the following screen.
May i ask what ROH (for example) represents here? I do know that this is the filed "Sref: Material type" you see for each material type in OMS2,
but i do not understand if this is just a "grouping" of materials (so you can differentiate how you handle them in OMT3E, or there is an actual ROH (anf therefor FERT, DIEN, etc) screen sequences. So far, i was not able to find any ROH (for example) screen sequence in SAP SPRO (there are not included in OMT3B)
    Thank you very much,
    Nikos Giannopoulos

    Hi,
Sref: Material type requires in OMS2 screen for defining new material type and also requires in OMT3E where assignment done for  Screen Sequence to Industry Sector.
If requires, yes- you can define your own Sref: Material type  for example ZROH coping from ROH.

  • Reference object data update in Location tab page of order

    Hello
When a  reference object in notification/order is changed, the location and account assignment data is  updated in order location data by standard settings in SAP but any changes to the master data of the existing reference object is not changed in Notification/Order location tab page.
But there is an option that  when you change the data in the technical object and you need the same to be reflected in order location data for which this order has the reference object, we can use the functionality of clicking the right mouse in object list and so the data will be updated in notification/order.
Please explain how to carry out this step "of clicking the right mouse in object list and so the data will be updated in notification/order"..
I have changed the Location data/Account assignment data of techincal object in its master data and now i want that to reflect in Work order.
    How to achieve this??

    Hi,
Keep the cursor in Equipment field & right click the mouse. You can find the option Update Reference Object Data.
Select that option, you will get updated details in the Notification / order.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • CRM Order Reference Objects List

    Hello SAP Experts,
We are trying to extract the CRM Orders list of Reference Objects.
With Datasource 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H we can only extract the Main Reference Object .
Also, we can get this list with function crm_order_read, by selecting table ET_REFOBJ.
But is there a DataSource that extracts this information to BW?
    Thanks

    Hi,
You should be able to get the same from table OBJK. Use the OBKNR field value for the order number from table AFIH in table OBJK.
Use the ILOAN number obtained from table OBJK  in table IFLOT for obtaining  the Functional Location key associated to the object list entry. The functional location text can be obtained from table IFLOTX.

    Hi,
i refer page no 18 of SAP book Object Networking (CS-BD/PM-EQM-ON) SAP AG Release 4.6C,
To select a particular link from the list, (IN18)select the object link and choose one of the following options:
Goto --> Change/Display --> link, You reach the object link data screen.
Goto -->Create notification  --> Notification type
You reach the screen where you can create a maintenance notification for the link. If a link object is entered for the selected link, the system automatically uses it as a reference object for the notification.
    Goto --> Create order
You reach the screen where you can create a maintenance order for the link. If a link the system automatically uses it as a
    reference object for the order.

  • Reference object in Notification and Order

    Hi ,
I have a requirement to capture following in the reference Object for notification and  Order
    1. Functional Location
    2. Equipment
    3. Material
    4. Serial Number
Configuration setting for overview of notification type doesn't have  the option to capture all the above fields.
I am able to get all fields except Functional Location...
    Please guide me
    Regards
    Anil Kumar

    Anil,
I have just been looking at this same requirement.
Unfortunately you can only use the standard options for reference objects which does not allow for your requirement.
There are no user-exits/BADIs either, you would need to build a new screen and screen-logic which is a system modification.
The best I could do within the standard system is to include these fields on the Enhancement tab (user-exit IWO10018) or build a bespoke front-end via ABAP or HTML. GUIXT is another option.

  • DS Planning Board Object Color Change according to Order Type etc.

    Hi,
I want to differatiate the colors of the objects on the resource,
according to their certain propertis, for example order type,
But if they have the same status the sytem marks them on the same
    color,
I went into the customizing for the BOARD Profile and color adjustments
but there are only certain criteria and I could not decide
which object type to which color,
Does anyone know anything about it?
    Mehmet

Setting up the colour or Order (or actually Operations) can be quite a challenge.
Sugest you use the SAP standard, copy it and then change suitably.
Follow this in SPRO >> APO >> Supply Chain Planning >> PPDS >> DS Planning Board >> Maintain Planning Board Profiles
Here select the appropriate planning board profile, click on Chart. Select appropriate chart - like Operations chart will be a good choice.
Then double-click on the Decision Table for Graphical Objects, check the last mentioned Decision Group and Decisions.
That will have reference to Grpahical Object Id.
Pick up the Graphical Object ID and then double click Grpahical Elements from the left pane. Enter the Graphical Object Id (Planning Board Profile is already chosen).
Select the grpahical elements and click on the Detail button to see the Display Colour.
So if you need to change the Operations based on Order Type like Fixed, Deallocated, Created etc. then change the colour of the graphical object here.

I have tried the authrization object :V_KOND_VEA  but it only controll the master data level
and the special still show on the condition table.
I have also find any user exit in SD module:

But it looks like a system modification, and need the modification key.
So, is there any solution such as enhancement or configuration to meet this requirement?

  • PM Order reference object

    hi,
My requirment is that i have changed the WBS element of all the equipments. Noq these equipments are used in some orders. I also want that the new WBS elemment also get updated in the order. One option is that i open each order and do the reference object data update. But that is a lengthy process. Is there any kind of mass maintenance in which i put all the order numbers and all the master data for refernece object get updated.
otherwise i have to make a BDC or LSMW>

    Of course you can
Go to IW38, select all the orders where you want to update your reference object - eqpt in your case
Once you get the list, select all the orders
Click on your screen menu "Order -> Carry out Mass Change" Ctrl + F11
On the Popup, choose field you want to replace (use F5 to select the field for change)
Here you can follow two step
First time you remove all the Equipments -
Check Replace only - Enter the Eqpt Id
New Value with blank and then Execute
Second time, you give the new value with the equipment id you need & execute again
Suggest, you can keep the list of workorders handy as on the first run, (if you had selected on the basis of Equipment, you will be pushed to the IW38 selection screen)
Also try first using the test run

  • F2 Notification type not picking reference object tab data

    Hello experts,
I am facing a problem while creating notification. I have one lot of 01 inspection type(which is created after GRN) to which F2 notification type is attached. When i am trying to create notification against that lot, system is not fetching data in Reference Object Tab i.e. Material number, Plant, Material Doc, etc,.
Please give me some solution on this.

    Dear all,
i am adding screen shots of process which i am doing. Please have a look on it.
    1. I have done result recording in which i have rejected one parameter and closed RR. As i have not activated automatic defect recording it will allow me to save RR. Now i clicked on Defect recording.
    2. Selected report type 00000010 & defect recording at Inspection Lot Level.
    3. Added defect & clicked on Notification.
    4. Here no data is fetched.

  • Do not allow change of Reference Object after Order release

    Dear All,
The requirement is that we should lock(not able to change) the Reference Object after the Maintenance Order is released. Can we acheive this in standard way or do we need to go for development.
If going for development what should be the basic logic.
    Regards,
    MLN Prasad

    Prasad,
You are accomplishing the same utilizing the built in enhancement framework([Implicit enhancements|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/70/63da4023a28631e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]), WITHOUT making a MODIFICATION to the system. This technology / functionality is available from ECC 6.0 . You would need to be very careful in using the implicit enhancement functionality so that you don't break the flow. Your requirement seems to be a simple one which could be accomplished by tweaking the screen attributes of the field under certain conditions, for this specific screen in the program. You may also have to make the Priority field a display only, so that it doesn't trigger a change through it via the user exit or through standard.

  • Reference Object Screens in QM notification

    Hi All,
There are many fields in Reference object screen, but how do i see the fields while creating a QM notification. I see the standard screens 0520, 0500, etc.. and initial screens.
How can i have these fields show up in the Notification header?
    Thanks
    Jithin

We can execute action box to execute follow-up function. With a follow-up function, the system executes the corresponding function module as soon as we execute the follow-up function in the action box.
With action box if you want to move stock to quality for inspection then you need to assign inspection type in material master. Once system will transfer stock in QI then it will create inspection lot for testing. If you don't want to create inspection lot then no need to assign inspection type.
