Order went back to Not yet shipped!

Hi all,
Ordered Macbook Air i7 two days ago. It went to "Prepared for Shipment" in about a day and now it's back to "Not yet shipped".
What does this mean??? Should I simply wait?

Status changed from shipment in progress back to not yet shipped

If I do not receive the phone it isn't the end of the world, but the confusion that Apple and AT&T are causing their customers is far from professional. I initially placed an order with AT&T on the 15th. After submitting my information I received an error message stating the order could not be processed due to a system error. I could not log back in to try again. I eventually placed an order through Apple's website on the same day. On the 17th I received an email from AT&T that my order was being processed (the one that their website stated could not be processed due to an error). I contacted AT&T and canceled the order after being on hold for thirty minutes on the 17th. I am beginning to think this may cause my order with Apple to be canceled. I needed to get this out of my system.

It stated not yet shipped, changed to shipping in progress, and is now back to not yet shipped. I am a little concerned that the order that went through with at&t is creating issues on my Apple order.

Any idea why? I called Apple Customer Service but they could not give me any reason...one guy I spoke to said he doesnt see ANY activity saying that it ever changed. Am I missing something?

Had the same thing happen. It was because I ordered two phones through Apple.com and somehow they both got processed under the same phone number. I believe it was an issue an their end because it should have been allowed to happen in the first place. The reason it probably changed back is because Apple reconfirms again just prior to shipment that the number is still available for upgrade. If the line has a payment past due, has already been upgraded, etc - it will hold shipment. they will eventually send you an email within the next couple days telling you to call AT&T.
Unfortunately when I tried to get them to change it to another number on the same account (had an AT&T supervisor and Apple supervisor on the phone at the same time to try and do this) Apple would not change it and said all they could do was cancel the order and start a new one with a ship date of 3 weeks out!
I canceled and decided I'll wait till iPhone 4(B).

Iphone 4 not yet shipped or in progress as of 06-22

i ordered my iphone 4 on 06-15 at around 1pm (tried since it pre-orders opened up and could not get through...) anyway, my order still shows as "not yet shipped" and is not in progress. i've called apple 2x, both reps stated the order is fine but they could not offer any explanation why the order was not in process or shipped. they mentioned several other people were in the same position as me and we all will receive the order by the 24th if that's what the order confirmation states.
im not very confident in this though, is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I see a pattern emerging here. Several people have responded that they are new to AT&T and are beginning new service with them with this iPhone order. That seems to be what most of us have in common (that and the "Not Yet Shipped" status). I'm guessing the those of us new to AT&T are being processed separately then those upgrading since it would, in theory, take longer to get us set up with a new phone.
I didn't port a number either - mine was a brand new account with AT&T with a new phone number.
Purely speculation but that seems to be the common thread here.
Thoughts?

Question for the people who have a not yet shipped

my 3gs status is not yet shipped and after seeing all of the progress people are getting with their phones, I am naturally feeling a little left out. My question is, is this normal? With such a high volume moving in the matter days, is it possible that people aren't receiving an update on any web source but the phone has shipped anyway? Or on the other side of things, is it possible that some or many may slip through the cracks (even though they ordered on or a little after last Monday) and not get a Friday delivery?
Maybe some can shed some experience from the 3g launch.

I am in the same situation as you. Is this normal... no idea. I have called Apple 3 times about it, and they assure me each time that the order is normal and will deliver by June 19. I must admit I am nervous about it though.
Apple did not have pre-orders for the other iPhone releases. I have an original iPhone (non-3G).
They did have pre-orders for the original iPod I remember... I had ordered that and got it on release day in 2001; shipped from China like the iPhones now.

Has anyone ever received a shipment from Apple even though their online status shows their order as "not yet shipped"? Not sure if my iPad hasn't shipped yet due to high demands although it should have already or if magically it is on its way.

Heh...I think it'd put a whole new spin on "magical" and "revolutionary" if it were shipping without our knowing it.
I haven't ordered much directly from Apple's online store--I've either bought stuff from the brick-and-mortar Apple Store in town or I've bought online from elsewhere--but no, I don't think I've seen anything ship with the order status not reflecting that. On the other hand, I've heard that the UPS shipping tracking pages can be inaccurate (behind) with this kind of stuff. An article like this, from the Boy Genius Report, shows a little of that:

I'll try to see if I can find something from earlier this month about how the tracking pages can also be inaccurate because they claim something's in, say, China, but it's actually Stateside and just hanging out in a warehouse, but I haven't been able to track it down yet. I'll have to do some more digging and see if I can find it, but yeah...someone (@ThomasAtUPS at Twitter?) had mentioned it with regard to the wifi-only iPads being sold in stores and getting shipped out to people's homes.

I ordered a 8gb on the 18th and its still "Not yet shipped".
engraved and express shipping.

I ordered mine on sept 24 not engraved, and prepared for shipping since sept 25 (last night)
(my first order from sept 10, never changed status and was engraved, so i cancelled it)

I ordered my Macbook Air (13inch, i5) more than 24hours ago and yet my status is still 'not yet shipped'. Anyone else in the same boat?

First, not all of us have a 'local Apple store—I don't.
Second, expecting a company to meet its advertised shipping commitments is not 'impatience'.
If the OP made a standard order then it should have shipped within 24 hours. I suspect that something else was ordered—such as a USB or miniDisplay dongle—which caused the shipping time to increase. If that isn't the case then the OP has a right to be concerned. However, that concern should be expressed directly to Apple—something that posting here does not accomplish..

Still "Not Yet Shipped"

Anyone else have a pre-ordered iPhone 4 from launch day that hasn't moved from "Not Yet Shipped"? Hasn't even moved to "Shipping Soon". Still shows deliver by June 24.

So I figured out why mine hadn't shipped. It involved a horrible conversation with AT&T suggesting I had sired a number of babies with the service provider, but my phone is now "Prepared for Shipment."
Basically, if you had to try a number of times to get a pre-order AND were porting a phone number from another company (in my case TMobile), you have a number of dummy accounts in your name (which AT&T apparently calls "babies" according to my rep, Chris, because you pick one to keep and the rest just die off on their own. Strange.). What this means that about 1 in 10 ports take longer than normal, and of those that take longer, some percentage get flagged by Apple as having a "Hold" on the account. As such, Apple will tell you to resolve your account hold with AT&T.
If you haven't seen the inherent contradiction, it's that I'm presently a TMobile customer; until I get my iPhone, I don't have an AT&T account to have a hold on, so there's no account to take a hold off of. After about an hour and a half on the phone with Chris, who had to coordinate with Apple, they managed to confirm that I wasn't some weird, fraudulent computer and got my phone set for expedited delivery starting today.
I hope that helps anyone else who may have had the same issue. In case Suzzie, my in-store rep, reads this, she did a phenomenal job. Even though I spent over an hour at the AT&T store trying to resolve this, she was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure my order worked. I've never had such good customer service from a phone provider, and it makes it a lot easier to write this process off as a small error associated with the launch of a phone that is decimating everything.

I've done my homework on the threads here, and am deducing that we should be shipping any day now. Yet I've had no status change. Are they preparing and shipping on weekends, or do posters here presume we'll have to wait until the start of the new week?

I did! I tried the SoHo store and 5th Ave. I live close to the 14th Street store and was told to come early in the mornings as they would get a few in but fly pretty quickly. I guess from the turn out every morning, they were telling everyone that. LOL. So finally I just ordered it. I figured I would order a Vaja case and they would show at the same time...

My Black brush won't work, I updated my CC to the 2014 version and it worked for awhile but it went back to not working.

Please help! All other colors work when I'm using them but nothing happens when I switch to black.

Check the brush mode in the Options bar.
Check the layer mode.
Does this happen i a new document, or only a particular document?

Table EKET will show this, field WEMNG qty delivered.
Useful to create query and link EKET, EKPO and EKKO. You can then search for PO's where qty delivered = 0 but have not been deleted etc.

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.
iTunes: How to resume interrupted iTunes Store downloads
Resuming downloads from an iOS device
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes icon.

Enter your account name and password.
Click the "OK" button.
